I've bought several figures off Amazon in the past but I'm officially done with it now. I mostly collect moc and today I got a elite 123 kid and the box is so messed up. It looks like it got ran over or something. Anyone else have this happen? Only buying from rsc or stores from now on.

Its hit or miss. Personally I collect mostly loose and I grab an extra at retail if I really like the figure. If youre strictly a sealed collector then RSC is the best bet with PPS and figure defenders. Also 123 kid is at least a year old so most will have been sitting around for awhile. Big Lots had e41 awhile ago. Might be worth a check. Also pretty sure my TRu still has e41 surplus

Yes, every single time with Amazon. Last thing I ordered was the New Day set and they crammed it into a box too small and completely crumpled up the booty-o box. Almost had the same thing happen with RSC, they put the box in diagonally and used Viktor as a shock absorber in the corner(or at least that's how it arrived), his box got mangled a little, but the booty-o box only got a little scuff, everything else was lovely.

I'm sure it was fine. Victor is used to being squashed.

dont really care as i open but no elites i have bought from amazon have had a messed up box. carded stuff is a different story as they will bend those anyway they can to get it in a box.

Are you sure you didn't buy one of the Amazon Warehouse items? Those items all have damaged packaging. They're prime eligible and usually the lowest priced, so they're easy to overlook if you're sorting by price. Most of my collection has come from Amazon, and I've never had an issue with packaging on the non-warehouse figures.

I don't usually have any luck with Amazon.

Don't buy anymore from Amazon Warehouse unless you absolutely plan on opening it for sure because their descriptions are useless pretty much but ya with Amazon you have at least a 30 percent chance of getting a bad elite box and a 50 percent chance of getting a bent basic figure.

I've ordered from Amazon and RSC. RSC sent me a beat up box that my Samoa Joe came in. The point is moot for me though, as I don't collect MOC. I'll worry when the actual figures start coming damaged.

I despise Amazon. I know everyone loves it, but meh.
All I've heard my whole life was WalMart and stores like that wiped out all the mom and pop shops. Now, ordering online has become such an annoying phenomenon. Personally, I like to go out and get my stuff. I form my own opinions I don't need reviews from total strangers.
Pretty soon, everything will just get shipped to your door. That's not quite what I want in my life. I can get it my damn self.

I dont normally have too many issues with Amazon. When I do, they are quick and easy to respond.

This has happened to me through Amazon and ringside. Not all the time, but it happens.

I never had an issue with RSC. I have had a few with both Amazon and TRU because there has been a few times they shipped my figures in envelopes.

If you're a MOC collecter, you'll never do better than retail.
If you're like me and packaging means nothing, Amazon and eBay are the way to go.

IMO Amazon is the best for loose collectors. I've never had a single issue and my membership comes with free shipping, Prime Video and much more. I also pay less than retail price for every single figure I buy from there whether it's a $4 basic or a $9 elite. Gotta love it.
I've spent less than half on Amazon than what I've spent at other places and ended up with twice the figs. My money goes farther there.
EDIT: This comment will probably get deleted for saying nice things about a seller that isn't RSC.
I will also say of the times I've ordered from RSC, I've never once had any issue with their product, delivery or process as a whole. It just comes down to whoever has the better deal at the time.

I'm one of the few people out there that doesn't like Amazon. I've ordered figures on Ebay and RSC and never had an issue. Amazon sucks, IMO.
