I'd go with 6 :
- both men brought their A-game.
- the drama and back and forth nature of this match was spot on perfect.
- the crowd was just LIT, and was truly one of the rare times where the fans were TRULY split right down the middle.

One more personal anecdote for WM6 -- it's actually the first match I ever watched. My dad had the scrambler box so he, my brother and I watched Hogan/Warrior, I was 6 at the time and thought it was the greatest thing ever. Sadly I didn't become a die-hard fan until '93 (man if I could go back and change, lol) but as a kid the face/face dynamic and the drama was just insane. |

Tough call between 5 and 6.
I think I have to give it to 5, but only just. It was not just a fantastic match. But the whole build up to it was incredible.

I say Mania 3. Not only because of the drama behind the match but the slam heard around the world. Seriously, just listen to the crowd as Hogan slammed AndreLook at how the crowd stood up! Sure it isn't the most technical match but it's all worth it just to see Hogan pick up Andre, (yeah people done it before, including Hogan) looking and listen to the crowd, the excitement and the feeling!  |

I hate Hogan...always have always will because Hogan is a racist and not to mention he is a wuss he loves to hold other wrestlers down playing that creative control card so and wrestlers like Savage, Jesse the Body, Honky Tonk Man, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, etc. say about Hogan is the truth
I don't really take stock in Hogan's matches but as far as WrestleMania matches go his best WrestleMania match would probably be 6 with Warrior and that is saying something because Warrior was the far more superior wrestler of the 2 he wrestled circles around Hogan even though Hogan did bring it he just is overrated in my opinion

And Hogan wasn't the only one holding down wrestlers Shawn did that too yet everybody (except Gregory Helms and even Honky Tonk Man) loves him. And the whole racist drama is over, Kamala, The Rock, Denis Roodman have defended Hogan for what he said. Also Jesse was retired by the time Hogan was big enough to have creative control so don't see how Hogan held him back. And the same thing can be said about a lot of wrestlers like Rock, Austin, Micheals, Bret, Taker, etc. (btw I love all those guys) |

Not to mention Hogan his WrestleMania matches weren't even that long because he couldn't wrestle a long match especially at Mania because he would be winded and I dare you to say that I'm wrong about that because if he were in the ring with wrestlers like Shawn, Bret, Austin, Taker, etc. he wouldn't be able to last half an hour or more
But his Mania 3 match with Andre will be iconic I'll give Hogan that
But to me he is just overrated

vs The Rock at WrestleMania X8 for me. I've never watched Hogan/Savage but I'm intrigued to after reading this thread.
