I know i've got some friends on here that would like to keep up with what I'm doing on the independent circuit, figured I should post some stuff on here. It would mean a lot to me if you guys gave it a watch and let me know what you thought!

I'll check it out soon, Foc. As I mentioned before, I love how you sell and throw yourself into moves, mainly dropkicks. Good for you bud. Cheers for sharing. Unfortunately I did not do any drop kicks in this match.. I hope you still love me! <3

Unfortunately I did not do any drop kicks in this match.. I hope you still love me! <3 That I do, Sir. Let's see... - Small but intimate crowd - not bad! - Four guys with different styles and looks - interesting so far. - You took some pretty good bumps, namely the Avalanche Powerbomb to one of the dudes' backs - crazy! - Gorgeous moonsault to the outside! Also loved the Inverted Rana. - Congrats on getting the first pinfall! Hell of a 450! ...great effort there mate! Thanks for sharing. All the best with your upcoming matches too. I wrestled in front of 5 people once.. so this crowd is nice!

I took a peak. Good match. I too liked the poetry in motion into a power bomb onto the other wrestlers backs. I also liked early on in the match when it looked like you were gonna let your opponent run the ropes only to trip him. Nice twist to a common element of most matches. Its refreshing to see someone take the familiar and give it a makeover.
Of the four in the ring, I was most impressed by you and the black guy (I don't say that to be racist, I just don't know his name and there were no announcers to clear it up for me). I thought the guy in the stripes tried a little too hard with his in ring banter. Not sure, but did I hear him use the Adam Cole "Bay Bay!" at one point? Wasn't a fan of that.
I definitely head one of the kids in the crowd say "That was awesome! Do it again!" I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard.
Just out of interest, how much planning goes into a match like that and how much is done on the fly? I assume the big spots like the moonsault to the outside the and power bomb spot were planned and rehearsed.

I assume the big spots like the moonsault to the outside the and power bomb spot were planned and rehearsed. Thanks for the in-depth reply!! I'll try to reply to your points in order, The poetry in motion powerbomb spot was my idea, I came up with it YEARS ago when I was backyarding..so I was glad to finally do it in a professional match. I knew we wanted to do a "tower of doom" spot..so this was a different way to to it, rather than double suplex and powerbomb stuff. I'm glad you appreciated the tackle into the trip..That's exactly why I do it. I love taking the usual counters and making them offensive maneuvers. Example, I'm sure you've seen the move when a guy puts his leg over the back of someone's head, and the dude with his leg over the guys head does a backflip onto his feet.. I never do that. When I have the guy bent over and have my leg over his head, I have him stand up and I do a rana.. it's my way of subliminally telling the fans what the wrestlers are TRYING to attempt everytime they're countered. I'm glad to hear you were impressed with me (And Matt Vertigo) It felt like the fans were into us, too! The guy in the stripes, Everett Cross,.. I don't recall him saying "Baybay!" but I wouldn't be surprised if he did..I'm not a fan of imitating other wrestlers at all. Once someone imitates another wrestler,..its not art..it's paint by number in my opinion. With these types of matches we planned everything.. The booker wanted us to steal the show..so we followed a formula I learned which is designed to keep the excitement increasing as the match goes on..so because of that, we have to plan everything,..which has its advantages and disadvantages..because planning the whole thing makes it easy to follow..but the disadvantage is, if the fans are bored with the match 2 minutes into it..you've lost them..then you have 8 more following minutes just going through the motions boring the fans..not allowing you to adjust and get them back.. What I mean is, in a regular match, if the fans are dead, the heel can leave the ring and get into a fans face and we can brawl outside to get them invested.. When you plan literally everything you cannot do that.. So you REALLY have to know what you're doing as in, studying the crowd, do they WANT this high impact fast paced match? are they going to react to this? etc. We go over our sequences (like the beginning) a few times but the only thing we really practiced before the show was the powerbomb..I wanted to make sure I could run up their backs and land on the ropes. hope I didn't bore you with my reply!!

I finally got around to watching the match, i enjoyed it. The standing spanish fly was a little off though. yeah, timing was off. But I kinda like it. My mindset is counters shouldn't look too pretty or choreographed, if they look crisp, they look practiced..where if it's bit sloppy, it looks like it was legitimate thought during the moment.

I quite enjoyed this. I thought you did a very good job. Selling, bumping, creativity, look, etc. This is good stuff. Couple of questions/observations: 1. Why did you go with Shawn Phoenix? It sounds so "weekend warrior". What was actually wrong with Focalin? It sounds unique and seems to fit your look. 2. You remind me of an early days CM Punk. You obviously have the punk look. I would much rather see your character be less excited. I would much rather see you slowly walk out to the ring. Let your promos get the fans behind you and let your in ring work and some of high flying you do get them to cheer harder. I'd rather see you calm and only increase tone when you are driving a point home. 3. Lose the red hair. I like the long hair, but unless you are trying to add a Jeff Hardy hair color change to your character, the red is no good. Maybe something streaky or a half and half like Rollins had in NXT. To each their own.

Damn great job by both participants! I thought Young did a good job bantering with the crowd. Very cool to see you play the babyface. Nice to see you living your dream. I wish you nothing but continued success!
Please be careful.
