Actual story telling in the match itself is a lost art now. Now it is just one big spot to the next.

Gimmicks
Vignettes
Two man announce teams
As PJ said match story telling
locker room interviews as OP said
Legit title belts with a nameplate and not dumb as hell custom side plates
Weekend morning squash shows
A ring with real ring posts and aprons. none of this LED crap
Simple sets with just a logo and a curtain
Tag teams like the ones from the 80s
Managers like the ones in the 80s
I can go on and on.....

- A titantron. I really don't understand why they chose to just scrap the titantron on the current RAW and SmackDown stages, and just have a selection of minitrons. Still hoping for them to put it back. - Unique PPV stages. It's such a shame that WWE are so lazy when it comes to their presentation regarding stages. While nobody will decide to boycott a PPV just because of the stage, it's such a shame that they're not putting any effort into them anymore. - Strong characters. It just doesn't seem that there are that many strong characters in WWE nowadays. Putting on a good match doesn't mean much to me if you don't have a character I can get behind. - Two man commentary teams. A three team doesn't work for the weekly shows, and I don't understand why they're obsessed with them. - The World Heavyweight Championship. Rather than introducing the Universal Championship, they should have just brought the World Heavyweight Championship back. - A strong tag team division.

Yeah a real tag team division is something the WWE hasn't had in at least 15 years.

Managers. There are guys who can wrestle well and guys who can talk well but few and far between are the guys who can do both well. The right combination of manager & wrestler helps to get people over who might not otherwise.

Take for example back in the day on Superstars they had Mcmahon,Ventura and Sammartino as the announcers. Bruno rarely even spoke during the match making it all the more pointless. Once he left you just had Vince and Jesse, a face on play by play and a heel on color (a GREAT heel on top of it).
For the life of me I don't get these three man teams. The only time three man teams work is if ALL three have personality and aren't bland like Moonsoon,Heenan,Piper or J.R.,King and Mcmahon. But seriously two is enough.

Match psychology does get lost a bit in some cases.
Actual building of feuds or build up to big matches. This has been gone since the days of the monthly ppv schedule were introduced since the 90s. Now its just booking from one month to the next with a lot of big or dream matches just getting thrown out there without the proper hype and build.
Managers.....theres still a use for them in todays world. Plenty of guys who could benefiet from a mouth peice
Blood.....yeah yeah....i get it. Health issues, pg, etc....and i don't want it back where its done to death like it was in the late 90s and early 2000s. But purposely adding color to either an angle or match, selectively here and there, could really sell the drama of a story. Doesn't have to be accomplished thru headshots ,which I'm ok with being banned, but they can be done thru so many other means...ringpost bump, stairs etc....
Organic promos....letting the guys hit the bullet points of a promo, using their own words, would make a world of difference. If some guys can't do it, let them have the scripts or give them the above mentioned help of a mouth peice in the form of a manager.
And ,small as it may seem, the poster who mentioned ramp way interviews.....yup....i miss those. Always thought that was a unique signature of Nitro......"MEEEEEAN, by God!, GENE"

Unique PPV stages. Managers Characters. I don't mean stupid gimmick characters like Duke the Dumpster Droese, I mean good characters like Austin, Triple H, The Rock, Savage, Hogan, etc. Some guys today have characters, like Enzo and Cass, The Miz, Bray Wyatt, and Dean Ambrose, but too many are just guys that wrestle. Tron videos with actual wrestler highlights. Jim Johnston theme songs. CFO$ is good but I want some more Johnston. Heel heat. The Hardcore Championship.

Blood need it for feuds and matches like hell in a cell When a finisher was all it took to beat a guy now its like 5 fins to pin a guy sometimes
Storytelling
Fans I miss when fans stood by their favourite no matter what now they change who they support all the time like ambrose they wanted him as champion since 2014 then when he wins the title they turn on him in 2 months wtf

Squash matches.
Why should I get excited for the PPV on Sunday between Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe, when they have fought each other for the past 4 weeks in a row on Raw??
Managers
How do you make a wrestler hated?? A manager. Simple as that.

Managers
Depth in the tag division
Darker arenas - sure the LEDs look fancy and all, but it sort of makes it look too clean cut.
Storytelling in a match
Wrestlers being kept apart in the build up to a big PPV match. In the last 3 weeks or so, we've seen a variation of the Extreme Rules Main Event every week, whether it be a tag match, singles or triple threat. They're basically just giving the PPV ME away for free
Unique sets for each PPV
2 Man Commentary teams
Blood
Real title belts - the WHC and Universal are both garbage. I want the Winged Eagle and Big Gold Belt back!
Longer, more meaningful storylines
Unscripted promos - Sufferin' succotash son... Enough Said.

Here's what I miss, first and foremost:
Superstar VS. Jobber matches.
Why? Because on their weekly shows at the time, 99% of the matches would be superstar V. jobber matches, and they'd save their superstar V. superstar matches for BIG shows (Clash of the Champions, Saturday Night's Main Event, PPVs) or non-televised house shows that would come to our necks of the woods.
It made superstar V. superstar matches seem special, like a REALLY BIG DEAL. Now we get various mixes of their top stars (in singles & tag team matches) and we're fighting to stay awake, after seeing 'em dozens of times.

As much as I would want big matches to be saved for PPVs, wrestling has evolved and jobber matches taking up Raw isn't something a lot of today's fanbase wants to see and it's a bummer.

I can really only echo things that have already been said, but I miss:
-Two man announce teams that were dedicated and knowledgeable and didn't have Vince breathing in their ear. -Managers. -Storytelling during the match on a consistent basis. -Larger than life colorful personalities. -Actually building a feud.
