I know andre got it for a whole second, but an actual run with the belt.

Personally as a fan of his I would have loved for Roddy Piper to have had held it at least once in his career, but the truth is he didn't need it. So I went with Orndorff I think would have been a great heel champion with Heenan as his manager. Same could be said for Me Perfect, but I felt he was perfect as the Intercontinental Champion.

I've always said that Luger would have been an amazing heel champ as the Narcassist. Yoko was okay but shouldn't have held the title IMO. Luger stealing the title from Bret and Bret chasing him until WM10 would have been much more memorable.

I chose Dibiase and Perfect. In all honesty though the majority of this list deserved at least one run with the top belt.
Andre did hold it after he beat Hogan on the Main Event in February 88 but the reign only lasted seconds. Now Andre in his prime as World Champion? Hell yes!!!

I didn't vote Andre because one he did win it and secondly he didn't need it and if he did have it who would have ever beaten him?

Andre never got a run with the belt. story line was he was to give it away to Dibiase and then it was put up for the tourney.

Really hard to choose 2 but I went with rude and perfect. Dibiase should have had it too but had to go with my 2 favourites

Perfect was my number one for sure. Tough to choose between Rude and Dibiase though - both fantastic heels and foils to Hogan and Warrior as babyfaces. Ended up giving it to Ravishing Rick though. Just preferred him as a wrestler overall, although Dibiase is still fantastic.
Also, no Owen?

I went with DiBiase. I would have had him win the WM4 tournament and then drop it to Savage at the first SummerSlam. This way they could have booked the summer as Savage's chase while Hogan was away making No Holds Barred. When Hogan comes back, then they could have built up to WMV.

Honestly, based on timing, build up, the landscape of the business at the time...the answer is Luger. After the Lex Express build, how does he NOT win the title at SummerSlam?!
Second choice would be DiBiase probably

Second choice would be DiBiase probably This is the same reason that I chose Lex, it totally should have happened! It was too early for him to win it as the Narcissist. I chose Piper as my other choice. He didn't need it, but was deserving of it regardless. It should have been him that defeated Bob Backlund and he should have held it longer that Sheik did and lost it to Hogan at the first WrestleMania. Mr T could have teamed with Snuka against Orndorff and Orton, then they could all have stuck around ringside to interfere in the main event. The heels could have sneak attacked the faces and helped Piper for most of the match before the faces recovered and took the heels out, Hogan recovers and beats Piper cleanly. It's not perfect, especially as Hogan and Mr T did all that publicity together.
