Monday Night RAW January 15th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerVince announces that Rowdy Roddy Piper will be at the Royal Rumble as a special guest interviewer. The Undertaker (w/Paul) def. Unabomb (aka. Kane) (w/Cornette) via DQ.
The Smoking Gunns (c) def. The Spiders via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships________________________________ Goldust makes his way out with Marlena for an interview with Vince McMahon. Vince asks him about his interest in the Undertaker. Goldust: (breathes in) I am his number one fan Mr. McMahon. Vince: Well many are just wondering because many are starting to wonder if there is an obsession... Goldust: O don't hurt me Mr. McMahon. I have read the obituary of a man that has been dead for years...I have followed the man's career, to find that he walks among us...this entity, this phenom (breathes in) and his mask, o his mask, I wish I knew he'd wear one as it would've fit my tattoo (displays a tattoo of Taker on his chest)... Vince: Whoa I didn't think...that's a pretty good tattoo, but don't you think people will find it strange... Goldust: Strange? Why ask me about the Undertaker as my next victim is Savio Vega. This up and rising star, I'm the golden star Gorilla Monsoon, that is going to take it to the top...twinkle twinkle little Vega, you've been warned. ________________________________ Cactus Jack def. The Roadie in a TRASH CAN match. The winner has to slam the other with a trash can to win. The Ringmaster Steve Austin (w/Dibiase) (c) def. Matt Hardy via pinfall to retain the Million Dollar Championship. Dibiase is on commentary for the match and oversells him as the next big star.

Goldust is even more bizarre and crazy I mean his obsession with The Undertaker is sick it is twisted but a Goldust/Undertaker program their feud is interesting given the clash of gimmicks but also add in Undertaker's supernatural powers his mind games it just brings this to a whole other level

Royal Rumble January 21st, 1996 Selland Arena, Fresno, CA Hosts: Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler and Jim RossPART 1 of 2WWF FREE FOR ALL: Owen Hart def. Marty Jannetty via Submission in a Face vs. Face match.
The Royal Rumble opens with Roddy Piper in the parking lot talking to some WWF Superstars nearby. It was still rare to see what was going on in the back and Piper gets on the mic to talk about how excited he is to be Special Guest Interviewer along with Todd Pettingel. A limo approaches with security and it's NFL Legend and former suspect OJ SIMPSON. Piper says "WTH?" and wants to know what's going on. Note: This was a real idea that Vince had back in '96. There was high risk of it being a bad PR move, which it probably was going to be. In this diary, as crazy as Vince can be, he decides to do it as Simpson at the time was desperate to make money in any way and Vince wants crazy media attention. Goldust (w/Marlena) def. Savio Vega via pinfall.
Goldust lands his finisher and at the end of the match wears Taker's mask. Vince talks about how bizarre that is and Lawler says there is nothing wrong with being a fan of a WWF Superstar. Ahmed Johnson (c) def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
HHH gave the pedigree, but the referee was down for the count only for Johnson to get up to land his finisher for the win. _______________________________________ Sycho Sid is being interviewed by Todd Pettingel (the image shown below is not Todd, I know this, but we can imagine it). Todd: Later tonight you'll be defending the WWF Championship up against Razor Ramon. This is a dream match for many and what an opportunity for Razor Ramon to become WWF Champion. Sid: What? What did you say? Todd: Ummm I mean, what I mean is that Razor... Sid: Razor Ramon will not, and I repeat, will not win tonight. I won't let him! Todd: I didn't mean to get you angry there... Sid: Are you calling me crazy? Todd: Umm look I just want to know what you'll do tonight... Sid: Like I always do, Razor Ramon will not stand a chance after I'm done with him because I am the master and ruler of the world! And if you can't accept that... Todd: I can you are the WWF Champion, but Razor's got a good chance... Sid: Chance? Are you kidding me? Against me! (starts to choke Todd!) No one's got a chance because I won't let them! (Todd almost collapses till Sid lets go and laughs) Come on there Todd, it's me, Sid... Sid laughs and fixes Todd's shirt, leaves the locker area as Todd is red and stands motionless _______________________________________ In the back Roddy Piper is talking about OJ Simpson having a VIP Pass backstage to watch the Royal Rumble in a private room. Piper wants to get an interview, but a security guard doesn't let him. Piper says he's got no right to be back here and shoves the door open. Security are ready to pound on Piper, but OJ laughs and says to let him in, but not the camera... _______________________________________ The Undertaker (w/Paul) def. Jeff Jarrett (w/The Roadie) in a Casket Match. The match went past the twenty minute mark. This was more of a handi-cap match than one-on-one. Jarrett and Roadie tried everything to bring down Taker, but Taker wouldn't let them. And in a wild way, Taker buries BOTH Jarrett and the Roadie into the casket to win!_______________________________________ In the back apparently Roddy Piper got into a fight with OJ Simpson! Piper is taken by away by WWF security with Gorilla Monsoon apologizing on camera. He says that the WWF takes its guests, whomever they are, seriously and wouldn't let anyone harm them. He understands the sensitive nature surrounding OJ Simpson and apologies if anyone was offended by this or by Simpson attending. Simpson has every right to attend a sports event, and we can't stop him from doing so. The WWF has no say in the case of the century and wants no say in it. TO BE CONTINUED...

Royal Rumble 96
PART 2 of 2 Sycho Sid (c) vs. Razor Ramon for the WWF Heavyweight ChampionshipSid overpowers Ramon early on in the match, though Razor manages to get in a few holds. Razor gets in a bulldog, and a clothesline from the top. Sid works on Razor's neck and even manages to lift him with his head to drop him silly. Sid looks stronger as he dominates the rest of the match. Near the end, Sid and Razor are at it on the outside till Sid slams Razor to the apron and powerbombs Razor into the spanish announce table! Razor can't get up as Sid stands tall in the ring for the win. Winner: Sycho Sid via Countout to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship.
Sid celebrates his win with the title up high. _______________________________________ 30-Man Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania XII. Announced Participants (26): Bret Hart, Cactus Jack, HHH, Unabomb, Henry Godwinn, Al Snow, Jerry Lawler, Sparky Plugg, Mable, Yokozuna, 1-2-3 Kid, Savio Vega, Billy Gunn, Bart Gunn, Owen Hart, Hakushi, Tatanka, Aldo Montoya, Diesel, Kama, Goldust, Ringmaster Steve Austin, Fatu, British Bulldog, Marty Jannetty and the Duke. Surprise Entrants: - Jake "the Snake" Roberts makes his WWF return
- Vader makes is WWF debut (he was being promoted heavily on Superstars and Sunday Night SLAM since December).
- Shawn Michaels comes in at No. 18 to a huge shock as he was supposed to be "retired".
- Dory Funk Jr. makes a surprise appearance. Major Highlights:- Vader completely dominates the Rumble knocking out Kid, Owen, Kama, Aldo and Fatu early on. - Bret Hart and Cactus Jack are finally in the ring at the same time, but other wrestlers are occupying them. Bret wants a piece of Cactus Jack, but isn't able too. Cactus finally knocks out Dory Funk Jr out of the ring and goes after Bret! It's a brawl as some wrestlers decide to stand back to watch the fight. Bret is taken down by Cactus' weight and Bret tries to fight back. Cactus lifts Bret and tries to toss him over, but Bret hangs on. Jack hits the ropes, but Bret tosses him over. Bret laughs, but Cactus Jack decides to get a trash can from beneath the ring and gets in the ring to smash it over Bret's head! He tosses Bret to the outside eliminating him! Officials break the two up. Lawler says that Cactus Jack must be enjoying this! Final Four: Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Vader and The Ringmaster Steve Austin (Fun Fact: Austin was always planned as part of the Final Four, but it was originally botched when he fell to the outside early on). Michaels and Diesel are at it. Vader manages to pound on Austin and throws him to the outside. Michaels and Diesel who hate each other, look at Vader at awe and decide not to fight each other. They both go after the "Mastadon" as Vince calls him; Vader. Vader manages to knock down Shawn at ease and toss Diesel to the outside! It's Vader and Shawn now. Shawn looks frightened, and decides to go for the sweet chin music on Vader. Vader DOESN'T FALL! Vader is only dazed and gets close to the ropes only for Diesel on the outside to grab his arm and pull him down for Shawn to win. Winner: Shawn Michaels and the No. 1 Contender for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania XII
Shawn does the impossible coming back from what looked like a retirement and winning the Royal Rumble a second time, though the fans aren't that excited as they were last year (this is actually true in '96 they weren't all that thrilled he won and Shawn had a weird celebration after the win). Some hardcore wrestling fans even wanted Vader to win. Vader is angry he lost and starts attacking WWF Officials! He leaves to the back pissed off as Diesel gets back in the ring. It almost looks like Diesel is about to knock Shawn out, but he holds out his hand and Shawn looks at the crowd. Vince believes it's out of respect after two years of war between the two. Shawn finally shakes his hands and they finally make peace ending the PPV.

Shoot Interview with Jim Cornette from 2015 Interviewer: The battle royal finish at the Royal Rumble 96 how did that come about... Cornette: f### man I don't even know where to begin. This was proof that the Kliq had Vince McMahons's ear. I mean Diesel was a heel, hated Shawn all this time and now they were celebrating like best friends? WTH? Just look at Shawn, at the time the guy was a real prick, and I couldn't understand how they could still have Vince's ear since the incident in Syracuse, he was the top guy the WWF Champion I mean wth... Interviewer: There are many accounts about the incident what really happened? Cornette: What I remember was Shawn was being the kind of guy he was, was flirting with one of the Marines' girlfriend or wife at a fricken bar. Heck Michaels, Waltman (1-2-3 Kid) and Davey (Bulldog) went to her car! Shawn was the one that got beat up, the other guys were too drunk to do anything. And I remember Vince was pissed he was so pissed that this was the perfect opportunity to bring down the Kliq, but instead Shawn heels from his injuries and wins the Rumble a second time? And what's worse was Bret, I mean wth, Bret was drawing more as a heel than he ever had before (in this diary) I didn't get why he wasn't champ by now. Makes no sense. Interviewer: Vader got a big push that night and almost won... Cornette: Almost won is just half of the story, Vader got over with the fans very quickly and I take some credit for Vader's push. I knew Vince wanted to bring in one of the biggest main eventers around at the time, but remember it wasn't "his" main eventer, it was WCW's. Vince probably would've buried him, but I convinced Vince and so did others to take advantage of Vader. Heck Vince wanted to remake the character as a fricken Mastadon and wear some stupid outfit, but no way, he's Vader (laughs) and I didn't want to manage another Mantaur (laughs), gosh, Vince may be a genius at times, but sometimes he has stupid ideas. Inteviewer: What about OJ Simpson, nobody thought about a murder suspect... Cornette: Don't even get me started there! I don't even want to talk about that (laughs)! Next question...

- Shawn Michaels wins the 1996 WWF Royal Rumble Match and he is going on to WrestleMania 12 in the main event facing the WWF Champion...will it be Sycho Sid that he faces at WrestleMania 12? Because you never know Sid could drop the title before Mania to whoever and then Shawn would end up facing whoever at Mania but if anything I see Shawn Michaels going up against the psychotic one going up against Sid at Mania for the title I mean all the signs point to that
- OJ Simpson angle I mean with Piper going after OJ are we in for another Celebrity vs Wrestler match at Mania? If that is the case and we get OJ vs Hot Rod at Mania who will be the face and who will be the heel in that?
- With Bret eliminating Cactus and then Cactus Jack eliminating Bret in retaliation I wonder if that will lead to Bret and Cactus' program ending at Mania in some kind of stipulation match?
- Vader with quite the showing in the Royal Rumble Match lasting until the Final 2 and then being eliminated by the eventual winner Shawn Michaels...it begs the question of who Vader's first program will be with now that he is here in the WWF? With Vader being a Jim Cornette Guy you could have him and Cornette as the Brock/Heyman of your diary if you think about it...they share similarities and Cornette being a manager I wonder who else will he be managing other than Vader?

With Diesel turning babyface after being heel for so long I mean it really makes no difference seeing as how Big Daddy Cool and Razor Ramon The Bad Guy are both on their way out to WCW to form the nWo the New World Order with Hogan and with the Monday Night Wars about to start I mean the WWF is vulnerable right now or they soon will be...because lately the New Generation Era stuff is just not working anymore the WWF has become too vanilla hence the Attitude Era may in fact have to happen but 1996 it is too early for the WWF to go into their Attitude Era but in real life it didn't really take off until the summer of 1996 anyway with the WWF becoming more edgier TV to compete with WCW

With the next IYH PPV coming up it begs the question of who Sycho Sid will defend his WWF Championship against? With WrestleMania 12 also on the horizon too it begs the question of who The Undertaker will face at WrestleMania 12 will the Streak go to 5-0? Or will it be 4-1? I wonder who Taker's opponent will be?
As for Lawler...I wonder if King if he will have a WrestleMania match for WrestleMania 12 and if that happens I wonder who Lawler will face?
But for the Royal Rumble I am glad that you used surprise entrants because back in the 1990s especially during the WWF's heyday in Royal Rumble Matches they never used surprise entrants or if they did they were never advertised because of the fact that it was heavily kept secret and times of the Internet back in the 1990s wasn't so global that the surprises would be spoiled

Monday Night RAW January 22nd, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerOfficial Statement from Gorilla Monsoon It has come to my attention that Mr. Jim Cornette, who is the official manager of Vader, has strongly protested against the decision of allowing Shawn Michaels to win the Royal Rumble battle royal when Vader was a legal man that was unjustly thrown out. However Vader did assault several Officials after the battle royal ended in anger. For his actions, I have decided to fine Vader $4000.
On the other hand, I do agree with Mr. Cornette that a battle royal should never have been won in such a way. Diesel did in fact throw Vader out of the ring, while he was not a legal man. He had no right to do so. Although the history books will declare Shawn Michaels the 1996 Royal Rumble winner, he will NOT be going to Wrestlemania XII to challenge whosoever is the WWF Champion. He will however be given a fair chance to regain the No. 1 Contendership for the WWF Championship at the In Your House 6 PPV on February 18th, when he will take on Vader. The winner of the match will go to Wrestlemania XII as the No. 1 contender. Thank you.Vader (w/Cornette) def. Savio Vega via pinfall. Cornette gets on commentary saying that Monsoon could fine Vader all he wants, but he did the right thing for a change. Vader lands an amazing moonsault on Vega impressing the crowd with his size and agility for the win. Goldust (w/Marlena) def. Sparky Plugg via pinfall. Goldust once again uses Taker's mask and only after the end of a match. Vince says he wonders what Undertaker thinks of all this, but Lawler says he'd be afraid of asking. Hunter Hearst Helmsley def Razor Ramon via Countout. Razor was sloppy in the match as Lawler says that after that devastating powerbomb over the table last night, he's surprised Razor even showed up for the match. Bret Hart gets on the mic right after the match ends and takes out his frustrations. Bret: You know (laughs) I'm surprised that Gorilla Monsoon is giving Vader a chance, I mean (laughs) seriously Monsoon? What the hell man, not only did that punk Cactus Jack slam a trash can over my head he threw me out of the ring when he wasn't even a legal man! What is this bull$hit Monsoon? I hope you're hearing me? Does anyone listen to me at all? Cactus Jack makes his way out with his barbedwire bat! Bret decides to leave through the crowd!Jack: You were a hero to all these people, you were my hero! You were the reason I am here fighting, and the reason I'm in the WWF to begin with. So why don't you come in the ring and let's fight like decent men in an indecent world. Bret looks back and decides to run in! Jack swings the bat and misses as Bret spears Jack! Bret kicks the bat aside and is on the assault till WWF Officials break them apart for RAW to go off the air.

Sorry for disappearing for a while, man I got to catch up! But why is Austin still the Ringmaster? I mean Foley's Cactus Jack and not Mankind, so why not make him Stone Cold? Once again, sorry for disappearing. He was Superstar Steve Austin in ECW and now joined the WWF. Stone Cold wasn't exactly there just yet, while Cactus Jack was Cactus Jack in 1995 till he joined the WWF in 96. As for OJ, it was an originally planned that way by Vince, but instead it became Piper vs. Goldust (they still used the OJ car chase scene in that match).

Michaels even though he won the Royal Rumble Match in a sense he has to earn his WrestleMania #1 Contendership by facing Vader at In Your House and the winner of that match goes on to WrestleMania 12 to face the champion I think that that's a great idea all be it now for Michaels he has all the pressure on him pretty much
It seems the Bret Hart/Cactus Jack feud is just escalating at this point

Monday Night RAW January 29th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler Vader (w/Cornette) def. Diesel via pinfall. Although Diesel is now a babyface, Vader dominates the match and ends it with his moonsault finisher. Vince is in shock that Diesel was defeated in five minutes time, while Lawler is amazed by Vader. Cornette gets on the mic: Cornette: You're looking at the man, the real man, it's Vader time! Shawn Michaels your old friend Diesel has been squashed like a bug and at In Your House do you honestly think you can take on a man like Vader? I think not! Vader: Shawn Michaels! I wanted vengeance and got it, but I'll never let you go to Wrestlemania NEVER! A segment with Rowdy Roddy Piper in an interview with Jim Ross. Piper wants to apologize for his actions and Jim Ross wants to know what exactly happened in the incident with OJ Simpson. Piper ignores it and says that he's only apologizing to the fans for getting carried away, but not to Simpson because if OJ Simpson would ever get into a real fight with him without his cronies with him, Piper would beat him up silly and make him guilty without a jury. The Godwinns fought The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) to a Double DQ.
Yokozuna (w/Cornette) def. Owen Hart via pinfall.

Monday Night RAW February 5th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerNote: No RAW next week. Vince: Gorilla Monsoon this past weekend on Superstars announced that the Undertaker will have a chance for the WWF Championship when he takes on Sycho Sid at In Your House! The Undertaker (w/Paul) def. Davey Boy Smith via pinfall.
The 1-2-3 Kid def. Hakushi via pinfall Shawn Michaels gets in the ring with Vince and brings out his mentor Jose Lothario. Shawn says he's never faced a man like Vader before, but it was mentor Jose who re-trained him and helped him through recovery to make a comeback in the WWF. Shawn is ready to regain the WWF Championship and make the impossible possible. Note: Some in the audience is starting to turn on Shawn with some fans even having Vader signs up. Things seem to be changing. Many kids who grew up with Hulkamania and the Hitman, are now teenagers/young adults. Shawn Michaels def. Yokozuna (w/Cornette & Fuji) via Countout. RAW ends off with a print ad about Ted Turner wasting millions of stockholder dollars in a personal vendeta against the WWF. Although there are no skits in this timeline, Vince is hating on Turner as Nitro is being competitive. IN YOUR HOUSE 6 REPORT:
Ahmed Johnson (c) vs. Yokozuna (w/Cornette & Fuji) for the WWF Intercontinental Championship
Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs. Cactus Jack in Singles competition
The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) vs. The Godwinns for the No. 1 Contendership for the WWF Tag Team Championships

In Your House 6 February 18th, 1996 Louisville Gardens, Kentucky (sell out) Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerFREE FOR ALL: Jake "the Snake" Roberts def. Tatanka (w/Dibiase) via pinfall. The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) def. The Godwinns via pinfall to become the No. 1 Contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championships. Bodydonnas challenge the Smoking Gunns for Wrestlemania XII. Ahmed Johnson (c) def. Yokozuna (w/Cornette & Fuji) via pinfall to retain te WWF Intercontinental Championship. A huge win for Ahmed Johnson who is on a roll as the rookie Champion. Johnson bodyslammed Yokozuna and landed a huge spinbuster for the pin and win. _____________________________________- Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs. Cactus Jack in Singles competition
One of the most anticipated matches, though only as a regular match. Cactus Jack does a pre-match promo saying that he came back to fix the Hitman, and he'll make him a hero again, but not like this. Jack feels that this is Bret's territory, but that the WWF thought it was too violent to do it Jack's way. Bret is in the ring first followed by Cactus Jack. Bret is on the offensive right away. Bret works on Jack's back and legs. Jack however counters with a few holds and uses the turnbuckle to his advantage. The brawl continues on to the outside as Bret uses the railings, Jack uses the ringpost, Bret slams Jack to the steelsteps, Jack clotheslines Bret from the apron to the outside. It's an all out war between the two. Jack even finds a trash can and smashes it over Bret's head on the outside! He tosses Bret back in, but Bret starts to fire back with punches and kicks. Bret uses the corner to his advantage and Jack reverses and irish whip to use another corner to his advantage over Bret. They brawl till Bret gets in a spinebuster and goes for the sharpshooter! Jack is about to submit, but Bret for some reason let's go. Vince says that's a bad idea and Lawler agrees. Bret goes to the outside to find a ladder beneath the ring. The referee warns Bret, but Bret doesn't care as he brings it in the ring. The ref says he'll disqualify him as Bret holds the ladder up, but didn't realize that Jack runs into the ladder to Bret with a dropkick! Jack throws the ladder into the middle of the ring, grabs Bret and lands his Double-underhook DDT finisher ON THE LADDER for the pin and WIN! Winner: Cactus Jack via pinfall.
Cactus Jack celebrates and is on the outside for the fans. Bret is up in disbelief and runs to the outside to grab Jack's barbedwire baseball bat. Jack is with several fans leaving own the aisle, till Bret runs up to him and swings the bat over Jack's back! Bret starts pounding on him till WWF Officials finally break it. Bret says he's not done with Cactus Jack. ______________________________________ In the back during a pre-match promo with the Undertaker, Goldust shows up and declares his "love", but says what he means by love is that he loves being the No. 1 fan of the Undertaker. Goldust offers assistance and wants to help him, but Taker doesn't say a word and shoves him aside. Goldust is almost in tears. Sycho Sid (c) vs. The Undertaker (w/Paul) for the WWF Heavyweight Championship
The power of the Kliq is pretty clear as the championship match is up next instead of being the main event. Sid and Taker have a similar match to their original Wrestlemania XIII confrontation. However during the match GOLDUST makes his way out with Marlena to watch the match. Later on, Taker lands the tombstone piledriver and is about to pin till Goldust drags the referee to the outside. The ref is hurt, but not badly. Goldust gets in the ring and Taker is displeased. Taker starts to choke Goldust, Goldust asks for forgiveness and gets on his knees till Sycho Sid has a chair (given to him by Marlena) and slams it over Taker's back. Goldust lands his DDT finisher on Taker! The ref is back in as Sid goes for the pin and win. Winner: Sycho Sid via pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship.______________________________________ Shawn Michaels (w/Jose) vs. Vader (w/Cornette) for the No. 1 Contender spot at Wrestlemania XII for the WWF Championship. Vader dominates the first half of the match. Shawn doesn't stand a chance and Lawler believes Shawn is done and a has-been. Vader gets in a belly-to-belly suplex for the pin to two. Vader argues with the referee till Shawn is quickly up and surprisingly lands a superkick on Vader. Vader DOESN'T fall, but lands into a corner. Shawn is hurt, but now has the upperhand, working on Vader. Shawn does the old ten punch from the top, but Vader lands a huge spinbuster. Vader goes for the moonsault from the top, but Shawn manages to suplex Vader from the top! Shawn places his arm over Vader for the pin to two. Shawn gets to a corner to land the sweet chin music and finally Vader falls for the 1..2..KICKOUT! Shawn is in shock and the FANS are on their feet! Shawn gets frustrated and even does a heelish thing by tossing the referee to the outside (which he wasn't supposed to do, but Shawn is reacting to the fans). Shawn rolls Vader to the outside and Shawn gets to the top rope for a crossbody on Vader and Cornette at the same time. Another referee is already in the ring. Shawn keeps Vader for the nine count as he rolls back in the ring for the win. Winner: Shawn Michaels via Countout and No.1 Contender for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania XII. Shawn celebrates his win with Jose Lothario, the crowd isn't that excited.

Jim Cornette is out with Vader to rant about how Shawn Michaels won last night. Cornette plays a video tape from IYH6 showing Shawn throwing out a referee. Cornette says that Shawn should be fired or at least DQ'd. Shawn knew that he couldn't beat Vader, Vader had taken two superkicks and still couldn't be beaten, so Shawn decides to sneak in a countout. Cornette says that Michaels is a shadow of his past, that he should've stayed retired. Cornette says he'll sue the WWF for unfair conduct and get Gorilla Monsoon fired as Interim President. The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) def. jobbers via pinfall
The Ringmaster Steve Austin (w/Dibiase) (c) def. Marty Jannetty via pinfall to retain the Million Dollar Championship
