Sid: (suttle) Biggest challenge...Shawn Michaels doesn't look so big, Shawn Michaels doesn't look so strong, (gets angry) Shawn Michaels doesn't look like Sycho Sid! Wrestlemania XII March 31st, 1996 Arrowhead Pond, Anaheim, CA (sell out) Hosts: Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler PART 1 of 2 FREE FOR ALL: Mark Henry def. Jerry "the King" Lawler via pinfall. The Smoking Gunns (c) def. The Bodydonnas (w/Sunny) via pinfall to retain the WWF World Tag Team Championships. Sunny betrays Skip and Zip, by flashing the both of them by lifting her skirt for both Bart and Billy to pin them BOTH with a roll up victory at the same time. Sunny joins the Gunns. The Ringmaster Steve Austin (w/Dibiase) def. Savio Vega via submission for the Million Dollar Championship.
No major changes are necessary for this match, with it being a singles match and for a title on the line. Ahmed Johnson (c) def. Razor Ramon via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
Billed as Razor's last chance at the IC title, Razor passes the torch in this match to Johnson when Johnson KICKS OUT of the Razor's Edge and lands his finisher on Razor for the win. Vader (w/Cornette) def. Jake "the Snake" Roberts via pinfall. Vader dominates most of the match from the older Jake Roberts. Roberts releases his python early on, but Vader proved he wasn't afraid and literally grabs the python to throw back in the bag! Jake was in shock that someone could do that as Vader lands a powerslam for the win. The Ultimate Warrior def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley via pinfall.
The infamous match where Warrior squashes HHH. This is left alone as it originally was (unlike the Warrior REDUX diary that can be currently found in the forums). Warrior just seems more out of place in this diary than he already was. _______________________________________ Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. O.J. Simpson in a Street Fight Match A match made for huge media attention and PPV buys (which it becomes the best selling PPV ever in this diary), the match is heavily choreographed (with a stuntman for OJ) and was all taped. Piper is waiting at a parking lot for Simpson to show up. Simpson shows up in his Ford Bronco. Simpson gets out till Roddy runs after him. Simpson runs back in his car for Piper to smashes its windows! OJ gets out through the other side and knocks down Piper from behind with a clothesline. OJ grabs the bat, but tosses it aside. Piper is quickly up and it's a brawl! Both men punch each other out, till OJ has enough of Piper and he grabs the bat to smash it over Piper's back. OJ gets in the Bronco and reverses it only to ram into Piper with the car! Piper falls hard as OJ drives off! Piper is badly hurt but gets into his own car to follow him! The OJ chase scene used in the original WMXII is shown. OJ finally arrives at the parking lot of the arena with a referee standing by. Simpson quickly gets out and WEARS A GLOVE that fits (this was criticized by the media as being in bad taste). OJ grabs a steel rod from the back of his car waiting for Piper. Piper gets out of his car till OJ starts to swing towards Piper and misses several ties, but Piper manages to slam OJ unto the car! OJ is hurt as Piper goes for a trash can and slams it over OJ's head! Piper gets in the sleeperhold as Lawler says it looks like a chokehold for OJ to tap out that he's had enough. Winner: Rowdy Roddy Piper via Submission_______________________________________ TO BE CONTINUED...

Wrestlemania XII
PART 2 of 2
Marc Mero makes his debut with Sable in an interview (this happened at WMXII, with the exception that Sable is with Mero rather than with HHH). Mero says that he understands the Ringmaster is right about the big boys who are old men trying to bring down young stars like himself and that's why he's in the WWF. ________________________________________ The Undertaker (w/Paul) vs. Goldust (w/Marlena) in Singles competitionGoldust walks out WITH Taker's mask and takes it off. Taker makes his way out, but Goldust attacks Taker before the bell rings. Goldust is ruthless, but Taker no sells several times till Goldust manages to throw Taker to the outside and from the apron lands a clothesline. Goldust throws Taker back in for his FINISHER! Taker's mask BREAKS. But instead of pinning Taker, he starts to "lick" Taker's mask and throws it aside and starts to rub his body over Taker. Goldust takes his time and finally pins for the nearfall as Taker starts to choke Goldust and is up for the chokeslam. Taker is on the offensive with the old school smash and several leaping clotheslines later goes for the pin to two. The match continues till Goldust goes for his DDT finisher, but Taker counters with a tombstone piledriver for the pin and win. Winner: The Undertaker via pinfall. ________________________________________ Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs. Cactus Jack in a Falls Count Anywhere MatchA warning is given on TV about the match that viewers discretion is advised. This became the most brutal match in WWF history to date. Bret Hart makes his way out with a happy Cactus Jack who has his barbed-wire baseball bat with him. In a pre-match promo, Cactus Jack says Bret was his hero and will always be his hero no matter what happens tonight.Bret spears him and starts on the offensive as the bell rings. Cactus fights back and it's an all out brawl. The two roll to the outside using everything they can from the ringpost, railings, and even smashes trashcans and ladders on each other. Bret grabs the barbed-wire bat and smashes it over Jack's back and swings it to his face as blood sprays into the fans. Bret rams Jack into the steel steps. Bret lifts the steel steps and slams it over Jack as he goes for the pin to two. Jack is nuts Lawler says as they take the fight up the aisle as they make it to the back. Bret grabs a camera and smashes it over Jack's back. Jack finds a rod and slams Bret's face with it. Bret is cut, but not as bad as Jack who is bleeding badly. Bret spears him and tosses him towards several boxes. They end up in the locker room where other WWF Superstars are at. Bret rams Jack into the lockers. Jack fights back and slams Bret into the lockers. Jack takes Bret into the medical room. Jack grabs a few syringes and stabs Bret with it as Vince wonders what the heck is in there. Bret seems dazed as Jack clotheslines him and grabs an IV bag and makes Bret drink from it. Bret chokes and Jack lifts him up, but Bret shoves him down the stairs! Bret slowly goes down the stairs exhausted, he goes for the pin, but Jack kicks out. Bret is frustrated and breaks the camera as the feed disappears. Another camera man runs to find them and they're fighting each other towards the garage parking. Bret slams Jack into a car and goes for the sharpshooter. Jack won't submit. Bret gets frustrated and starts to bring Jack back in. Jack shoves Bret into a wall and slams a chair over Bret's back. Jack is getting dazed from the blood loss and falls. Bret finds a BROILER ROOM. Bret starts to beat up on Jack dragging him into the broiler room. Jack fights back till one of the pipes BURSTS into Jack's FACE! Jack is shouting so bad as referees check up on him as he shouts "MY EAR MY EAR!!! AHHH!!! Bret has no remorse as the camera notices blood coming from what looks like a missing ear! (hardcore fans knew the truth of it but the WWF uses it to their advantage). Jim Ross says this is too much brutality and apologizes to viewers. Bret pummels the crap out of Jack till he gets the Sharpshooter in. Cactus Jack shouts and screams and his voice changes in what the world will soon come to know as...MANKIND. His cries are heard around the world till he finally submits. Winner: Bret "the Hitman" Hart via submission
Bret throws out the cameraman and referee from the Broiler Room and LOCKS THE DOOR! WWF Officials try there best to break it open. During the Main Event, the door is finally opened to find Jack shaking and mumbling a few words till WWF Officials attend to him with his last words as "I love it I love it I love the pain ahhh Bret is the best there ever will be AH!!!"________________________________________ Sycho Sid (c) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/Jose) for the WWF Heavyweight Championship. This match is similar to their original Survivor Series '96 confrontation. I didn't want to change much as it was a good match, but the difference is the ending. Shawn has the upperhand near the end of the match and manages to get in some sweet chin music for Sid to fall to the outside. Shawn is celebrating in the ring as Sid is up. Jose is clapping near Sid. Sid gets really pissed and GRABS Jose for a CHOKESLAM on the cement! Shawn doesn't notice as Sid is back in the ring as Shawn starts on the offensive. WWF Officials go towards Jose. Lawler wonders if Jose is breathing as the old man must have broken every bone in his body. Shawn notices something wrong outside and jumps to the outside. Shawn is in near tears as he shouts for a medical team, but the team seems to be busy with Cactus Jack. Sid rolls down to the outside and grabs a camera (just as Shawn did almost a year back to him), he slams it over Shawn's back and says "F U!" (which he actually did twice). Sid throws Shawn back in for the powerbomb and the SHOCKING win. Winner: Sycho Sid via pinfall to retain the WWF Championship.
Some in the audience are still cheering for Sid even after what he did. Sid walks out with the WWF title and for the first time in Wrestlemania history, a heel (though tweener) walks out the WWF Champion.

Loved the way you handled the Cactus Jack to Mankind transition. Makes me wish that was how it was done in reality. I hope you have plans for an interesting way The Ringmaster becomes Stone Cold. Keep up the great writing.

Monday Night War Update: WCW Nitro ratings have been slipping lately as RAW continues to become the number one show, despite RAW having taped shows. WCW gets desperate and wants a full on war, revealing what happens on RAW during Nitro before it even airs. In this timeline, the Outsiders (Diesel and Razor Ramon) quickly join WCW as Bischoff buys out the remainder of their WWF contracts to bring them in earlier and Vince allows it in order to rid of the Kliq's influence post-WMXII. The "Curtain Call" does still happen, but two days after WMXII at a house show (but this time no video). As for the "third man", it doesn't happen till much later (the third man idea came out of the blue, never originally planned). Hulk Hogan doesn't become the third man of the Outsiders. Hogan refused to be a third man in real life until he saw how hot it was getting anyway and probably wouldn't have accepted if the Outsiders came in earlier. In this diary, Hulk Hogan was working for WCW in a limited capacity after dropping the WWF Championship to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania X. Since Hulk made the right decision to sell the "Hulk Hogan Grill" (aka. George Foreman Grill, where Hogan was offered to do it first and here he does so), it wouldn't make sense for him to go heel at all. Sting was originally supposed to be the third man anyway (ie. he accidentally knocks down Luger in a match), though wouldn't have the same impact as Hogan would (especially since Sting was never in the WWF). Sting becomes the third man and is responsible for "bringing in the Outsiders" to destroy WCW because he wants to join "that company up North" and this is the only way he can. Many viewers turned to Nitro throughout 1996, but RAW remains supreme with Nitro capping at a 40% share. Vince is still fierce even if RAW is a winner.

Monday Night RAW April 1st, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerRAW opens with a statement from Gorilla Monsoon. Due to the pressures of being an acting President and health issues, Interim President Gorilla Monsoon has chosen Mr. Perfect to become the new Official WWF President. Mr. Perfect opens RAW calling it a new era within the WWF New Generation and that he'll make sure justice is served and won't make the same mistakes that past Presidents have made. Perfect: And as my first act in the WWF, after watching what Sycho Sid did last night to a retired sixty year old man, Jose Lothario, I have no choice but to force Sycho Sid to hand over the WWF Championship belt. Sycho Sid makes his way out with the WWF title belt around his waist.Sid: What did you say you want me to do!? Perfect: You heard me, I am stripping you of the WWF Championship right now, right here on RAW. Hand it over. Sid: You can't do that! You can't do that! Perfect: I am the new WWF President... Sid: I don't care who you are! I won't hand over the belt. Perfect: You're forcing my hand. Sid: You're gonna have to take it from me. Perfect drops the mic and leaves to the back as Sycho Sid decides to join the commentary desk.Lawler: (on commentary) Hey Sid welcome to our table. Vince: Mr. Sid with all due respect, Mr. Perfect is the new WWF President. Sid: I don't give a damn, I am the WWF Champion, I won last night and I'm staying right here. If he wants the belt he has to take it from me! The Bodydonnas def. jobbers via pinfall. They want revenge for Sunny's betrayal. The Undertaker (w/Paul) def. Justin Bradshaw via DQ. Marc Mero (w/Sable) def. Unabomb (aka. Kane) via pinfall in his RAW debut.Several security guards start walking down the aisle with Mr. Perfect. Sid gets in the ring as the guards surround the ring. They start to enter the ring, but Sid brings them down. Suddenly the Ultimate Warrior rushes to the ring to a pop and quickly brings down Sid with several clotheslines. Warrior goes around the ring, but Sid manages to land a big boot and clotheslines Warrior to the outside (which wasn't exactly the plan, but Sid hated working with Warrior and even quit in 1992 because of him). Sid says "FU" to the Warrior and as Mr. Perfect gets in the ring Sid drops the belt on the mat in front of him as RAW goes off the air. The WWF Heavyweight Championship is now Vacant.

(Sycho) Sid Eudy Shoot Interview in 2012 Interviewer: A lot of people thought Wrestlemania XII was going to be predictable, yet for the first time in Wrestlemania history, a heel or at least a tweener, walks out of Wrestlemania as the WWF Champion. How did that go down? Sid: It wasn't supposed to happen this way. I had a bad neck at that time and I expected to take time off after Wrestlemania. Shawn was supposed to win, but I was told the day of, of the finish. I didn't know how to react, should I have been happy? All I kept thinking about was the pain, I just went with it. (laughs). Interviewer: Why do you think Vince changed his mind about the finish? Sid: I was brought in to the office, Shawn was there looking like it was the end of the world, and Vince told me of how the finish was going to be. He knew about my neck problems, so he allowed me to take time off. I figure that since Nash (Diesel) and Hall (Razor) were leaving, Vince wanted to bring down the Kliq's influence. But Vince never told me the reason for it, I just went with it. Interviewer: Then the next night on RAW you were stripped from the title... Sid: I had to give it up, because if I continued wrestling with a bad neck it'd be pretty bad so I had to take time off to heal. Vince had other plans with the title so it worked out. It was a good run while it lasted.

Jack: It's not Jack, no Cactus Jack here, he's not here! Mankind...Mankind...Mankind! Ross: Mankind what? Jack: (gets up and scares Ross by grabbing the mic) I am Mankind! Ross: Well alright you are mankind. At Wrestlemania XII, Cactus Jack or should I say...Mankind faced Bret "the Hitman" Hart in the most brutal match that I'd ever seen. Mankind: Don't say his name! Don't say his name! Ross: What did you mean? Mankind: When I was sent to a hospital to be patched up, I left because I didn't want it...I wanted to go home to my wife and kids. And there I was, lingering about knocking on the door when my wife screamed! She called 9-11 because she saw someone hideous! She saw a monster! Mankind! Mankind! Mankind! Love Mrs Foley's Baby Boy...Mick Foley he is no longer Cactus Jack but is now Mankind and this Mankind is more deranged more twisted than Cactus and it is like the pain he absorbs it is like he loves it...Mankind thrives on pain thrives on suffering thrives on making other people suffer...probably Mick Foley's best gimmick hands down I love this "Face of Foley"
With Mankind here in the WWF I can definitely see him becoming more successful it is only a matter of time
But as for Undertaker he is now 5-0 at WrestleMania with Goldust being his 5th WrestleMania victim but I mean after Taker wins the Battle Royal for the vacant WWF Championship last eliminating Shawn Michaels...I mean with HBK asking for a title shot and Taker giving it to him I mean the idea of an Undertaker/Michaels program here in 1996 is actually intriguing believe it or not
As for Bret Hart I mean I can only imagine who his next program will be with
With Austin dumping DiBiase I can definitely see DiBiase going to WCW especially now considering in real life in 1996 he actually did because he became the "money" behind the nWo and now that Austin is no longer The Ringmaster and is now Steve Austin I am predicting Austin to win the 1996 King of the Ring and delivering his infamous Austin 3:16 King of the Ring speech officially ushering him in as Stone Cold
As for Paul Bearer I can definitely see him turning heel on The Undertaker considering in 1996 Bearer actually did turn heel on Taker in real life at SummerSlam 96 when Taker faced Mankind in the Boiler Room Brawl
When Sid Sycho Sid had to vacate the WWF Championship I was full on expecting him to attack the new WWF President Mr Perfect but he didn't even do that I mean isn't he supposed to be psycho isn't he supposed to be a psychopath? Then why not have him go all apecrappsychotic and just attack whoever gets in his way I mean he is supposed to be a psychopathic lunatic isn't he not?

Monday Night RAW May 20th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry LawlerFootage of the Kuwaiti Cup Tournament (May 8-12th) is shown with the winner as Bret "the Hitman" Hart (in real life it was Ahmed Johnson, but Bret wins this here). Bret defeated Ahmed Johnson in the Finals, but the WWF doesn't mention it was Johnson to keep his "streak" going (Bret is a fan favorite overseas despite being a heel). Steve Austin def. Marc Mero (w/Sable) via Countout.
Goldust (w/Marlena) def. The 1-2-3 Kid via pinfall. On Superstars, Goldust has been obsessing over "the World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry leading to Henry asking for a challenge on last Saturday's episode. Taker makes his slow walk to the ring with the WWF title. Michaels showed no fear and focused on his speed and ability to get a few shots in. Taker drops him to a corner, but Shawn reverses an irish whip for a running clothesline only for Taker to gorilla press him and drop him to the outside. They start to take it to the outside as Taker dominates and throws Michaels back in. Taker gets in, but Shawn hits the ropes for a crossbody, but Taker catches him and tries to go for a tombstone, but Shawn manages to use the ropes to his advantage for the break. Michaels hits the ropes for a leaping elbow smash and lands it as Taker finally falls. Michaels does the kip up and lands an elbow drop from the top rope and gets to a corner for his finisher. Taker sits up and is finally standing as he blocks the sweet chin music and lands the chokeslam! It's a nearfall, Taker gets Michaels into the tombstone position, but Michaels manages to get in a small package for the pin to two. Taker sits up as Michaels gets to the top rope and lands a dropkick to Taker who falls. Michaels won't stop, Taker sits up, but Michaels drops him down from the ropes. Taker is hurt for a change as Michaels continues with the offensive. Taker manages to counter Michaels and starts to work on his neck with several "neck-punches". Taker whips Michaels to the corner hard as he does his infamous drop to the outside. Michaels tries to get back in, but in a very unexpected move, Taker hits the ropes and jumps to the outside for a high-risk! Taker gets on the apron for his old school smash on the arm. Taker drops Michaels to the inside. Michaels struggles to fight, but Taker goes for the chokeslam, Michaels counters and lands the sweet chin music! Both men are on the mat as the referee begins the count to ten. Michaels drags himself towards Taker for the 1...2...KICKOUT! Taker sits up for the kickout and looks at Shawn. Shawn looks frightened as Taker chokes him and lifts him up for the chokeslam. Taker goes for the tombstone piledriver and lands it for the win. Winner: The Undertaker via pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship.
