In Your House 8 (#2) May 28th, 1996 Florence Civic Centre, South Carolina Hosts: Jim Ross and President Perfect FREE FOR ALL was a rebroadcast of Steve Austin's match with Owen Hart in which Austin won the match with a stunner. Hunter Hearst Helmsley def. Marc Mero (w/Sable) via pinfall for the Managerial Services of Sable. Mero showed off most of his high-flying capabilities as he was known for in WCW. However in the end, HHH used a foreign object he had hidden in his tights and landed the pedigree for the win. After the match Sable was forced to become the valet of HHH. Sable decides to land a lowblow to HHH in the middle of the ring! Sable leaves with Mero as HHH demands for Sable to be by his side. The Bodydonnas (c) (w/Sunny) def. The New Rockers via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. Once again Sunny distracts both Marty and Leif with her skirt, this time mooning them for them to lose the match. Goldust (w/Marlena) def Mark Henry via Countout. Goldust was obsessed with Mark Henry being the "World's Strongest Man" and he wanted a "taste" of what that meant. Goldust lands his finisher on Henry on the outside for the countout. Mankind def. Jake "the Snake" Roberts via Submission. Some fans chanted Bret when Mankind was entering the ring and he would shout at them and close his ears. Jake Roberts tried to go for a DDT early on, but Mankind would kick out. Mankind gets in the mandible claw for the win. After the match, Mankind starts to play with the python Revelations in a corner. REBROADCAST FROM MAY 26TH: The Undertaker (c) (w/Paul) def. Shawn Michaels (w/Jose) via pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship.________________________________ The Ultimate Warrior & Ahmed Johnson (c) & Savio Vega vs. CAMP CORNETTE: Vader & British Bulldog & Yokozuna (w/Cornette) in a Six-man Tag MatchBilled as the PPV's main event, the match started off as an all out brawl between the six. The referee tried to get them to their corners, but it was difficult. WWF President Mr. Perfect leaves the commentary desk temporarily to get as many WWF Officials to the ring to stop them and finally controls the situation. The match goes on with Warrior vs. Vader, Johnson vs. Bulldog, and Savio vs. Yokozuna as a primary focus in the match. Later in the match, Savio practically becomes a guinea pig for Vader's team as they take advantage of him. Yokozuna lands the bonzai drop, but Warrior runs in for the break. Warrior actually manages to bodyslam Yokozuna akin to his infamous slam of Andre the Giant and Jim Ross reminds fans of that. However as Vader gets in the tag he knocks down Warrior and pummels him even though Warrior isn't a legal man. He tosses Warrior to the outside and lands a spear on Vega and the moonsault finisher for the win. Winner: Camp Cornette via pinfall. After the match as Vega is being taken out on a stretcher, Warrior and Vader are alone in the ring as Warrior takes Vader down at ease and WWF Officials break them up setting up their feud for the King of the Ring. In the back, Vader is interviewed and Cornette says that he wants to challenge the Ultimate Warrior at KOTR.

Bret apologizes to the family of Cactus Jack. Bret says he never meant to take it too far and make Jack lose an ear (kayfabe), though it wasn't his fault, but a faulty pipe. Bret says he feels terrible especially when his kids keep asking him what happened to Cactus Jack as they can't understand it. He says and that he will show up on RAW next week to confront Cactus Jack and apologize to him face to face. __________________________ HHH comes out and demands Sable to be brought to his side as she is his "property" now. So I wonder if this means Bret is turning back into a babyface here then? I mean Cactus Jack is no longer Cactus Jack and he is now Mankind but with Mankind I wonder if he is considered a heel now?

Monday Night RAW June 10th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler KOTR Qualifying Match: Owen Hart def. Yokozuna via Countout. KOTR Qualifying Match: Justin Bradshaw def. Marc Mero (w/Sable) via pinfall after HHH interferes in the match and costs Mero the match. He grabs a hold of Sable and takes her away to the back! He humiliates her as she's nearly in tears. Davey Boy Smith (w/Cornette) def. The Undertaker (c) (w/Paul) via Countout. Taker retains the WWF Championship. During the match Goldust distracts Taker as Goldust has Taker's old mask and makes Marlena wear it for some reason (feels like Batman 1989). ____________________________________________ Bret "the Hitman" Hart makes is way out to a mixed reaction. He gets in the ring with Jim Ross. Bret: You know it's true that I've been bitter since Wrestlemania XI, when I lost the WWF Championship. And then you get this guy named Cactus Jack on my back, he's as hardcore as they get and he claims that I was his hero and wanted a fight. I wanted revenge for Jack costing me the WWF Championship. I admit I went too far, and cost Jack his family and more. I've come out here for one reason and that is, from one man to another, I want to apologize to Cactus Jack. Mankind makes his way out and doesn't look at Bret at all.Ross: Mankind, it looks like that Bret Hart has something to say to you. Bret: Cactus Jack...Mankind whatever you want to call yourself, I wanted to say that I'm sorry I did this to you. Mankind: Cactus Jack loved Bret Hart, Cactus Jack was the Hitman's biggest fan...but he's dead! Cactus Jack is dead! Bret: I see him right here...Look I want to help...this is too much I think you need help and I'm willing to get you some help because I was responsible... Mankind: Mankind doesn't need help, No NO NOOO!! Suddenly Mankind gets in the mandible claw on Bret! He won't let go and it took five WWF Officials to break the hold as Bret is unconscious for RAW to go off the air.

King of the Ring 1996 June 23rd, 1996 MECCA Arena, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jim Ross FREE FOR ALL: The Bodydonnas (c) (w/Sunny) def. The New Rockers via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team ChampionshipsKOTR SEMI FINAL: Steve Austin def. Owen Hart via pinfall to qualify for the Finals.Marc Mero def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Sable) via pinfall in a KISS MY FOOT Match.
Instead of having HHH kiss Mero's foot, Mero forces HHH to kiss Sable's foot. HHH does so and is humiliated that he has to kiss the foot of his "property". Ahmed Johnson (c) def. Yokozuna (w/Cornette) via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
Yokozuna went for the bonzai drop, but Ahmed Johnson LIFTS him up his shoulders to drop him hard on his back for the pin and win. KOTR SEMI FINAL: Jake "the Snake" Roberts def. Davey Boy Smith (w/Cornette) via pinfall with the DDT.___________________________ Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs. Mankind in a Submission Match Hitman is out first followed by Mankind. The match begins and Bret goes for the offensive. Mankind counters with several holds and punches. Mankind tosses Bret to the outside and uses everything from cables to the table TV and smashes it over Bret. Mankind gets Bret on top of the spanish announce table and wants to go for a piledriver, however Bret lifts him over and the table breaks! Bret is back in, breaks count and tosses Mankind back in. The match continues till Mankind sneaks up the mandible claw! Bret is struggling and is unable to let go. It's almost over, but Bret manages to use the corner to his leverage to push Mankind back and break the hold. Bret chokes a bit as Mankind tries to do it again, but Bret reverses with an armbar, but Mankind doesn't give up. Bret works on the arm, legs and back. Mankind goes for a trash can on the outside and brings it in the ring along with a chair. The referee gives him a warning and as Mankind wants to use the can, Bret kicks Mankind who drops it, and Bret turns Mankind into the trash. Bret goes to the second rope for a knee-elbow smash unto the trashcan with Mankind's face in it! Bret goes for the sharpshooter and Mankind CRIES. Mankind can't handle it anymore and even smashes his own head with his fists so much that he goes unconcious for the submission. Winner: Bret "the Hitman" Hart via submission.
After the match Bret feels terrible and waits for Mankind to wake up. Bret tries to help Mankind up as he notices that a grown man is crying and Bret feels bad. Mankind is in the corner in tears. Suddenly Mankind has a sock in his hand and gets in the mandible claw! Bret even TAPS, but the match is over already. Mankind locks it on, but strangely Bret has some weird goo that starts to come out of his mouth! Bret has to be taken out with an EMT as Mankind laughs in a deranged way. ___________________________ Vince says that Bret has been taken to a nearby hospital and it looks serious (kayfabe). Jim Ross says that Mankind must have used something dangerous in that sock he used. Vader (w/Cornette) def. The Ultimate Warrior via pinfall. The Warrior did what he is used to with several shoulderblocks and clotheslines, but Vader manages to pound on him consistently. In a shoot Cornette claimed that Warrior refused to put Vader over, so they changed plans having Cornette bring out British Bulldog and Yokozuna to squash Warrior on the outside for Vader to land a moonsault for the win. Warrior leaves the WWF thereafter and the WWF plays it off that Vader ended the Warrior's career in the WWF. The Undertaker (c) (w/Paul) def. Goldust (w/Marlena) via pinfall for the WWF Heavyweight Championship.
This match is similar to the their original IHY8 confrontation without it being a casket match. Taker got in the tombstone piledriver for the win. KOTR FINALS: Steve Austin def. Jake "the Snake" Roberts via pinfall to become the 1996 King of the Ring. Steve Austin calls himself Stone Cold Steve Austin and that everyone must remember that. Austin does his famous 3:16 speech to end the PPV.

Monday Night RAW June 24th, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Ahmed Johnson (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion. A big upset according to Vince as Austin gets in an unexpected stunner to win the title. Austin gets on the mic and talks trash and says he never needed a Million Dollars, that this is what he does best and that's beat up people. Austin never accepts the crown or wants to be called King because he already knows he's better than all the "pieces of trash" in the back. The Bodydonnas (c) (w/Sunny) def. jobbers via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships.
Owen Hart def. Barry Horowitz via submission.
Goldust (w/Marlena) def. Aldo Montoya via pinfall.

- Now that Austin is now "Stone Cold" now that the Rattlesnake is born after winning the 1996 King of the Ring tournament the night after on RAW he beats Ahmed Johnson to become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion...Austin is therefore on the rise here in the WWF
- I would think that after what has happened a double turn has happened...in the sense that Cactus Jack Mick Foley Mankind has more or less turned heel and The Hitman Bret Hart has more or less turned back into a babyface especially after Mankind locked in the Mandible Claw on The Hitman and wouldn't let go until there was some kind of goo coming out from Hart's mouth and he had to be carted off in an ambulance I think it is safe to say that Mankind is not done with Bret especially after the Submission Match

Monday Night RAW July 1st, 1996 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler
Vince: We would like everyone to know that Bret "the Hitman" Hart sustained internal injuries from that mandible claw, but luckily got proper medical attention on time and is currently recovering as we speak. Will he return to the WWF? That remains to be seen and how far was the damage? It's not known, but rumours have it that Bret's career is definitely at stake. Lawler: Why in the world hasn't President Perfect suspend Mankind? Heck he should be charged! Don't you find it odd McMahon? He used a dangerous chemical! Vince: Maybe he pities him, it is strange indeed... Lawler: It's a conspiracy I bet, after all Bret Hart retired Mr. Perfect to begin with I bet Perfect was happy that went down! Vince: I don't think he was happy, but you do make a point! Mankind def. The Duke via Submission.
Marc Mero def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Sable) via pinfall for the Managerial Services of Sable. Mero regains Sable as his valet. Goldust (w/Marlena) def. Marty Jannetty via pinfall.Former WWF Champion Sycho Sid makes his return after a three month absence. He's interviewed in the ring and says that he never lost the WWF Championship, but that good for nothing President Perfect stole his belt. He wants the title back. Mr. Perfect makes his way out. Perfect: No one stole the belt big guy, you hurt an innocent old man and you just can't do that you got what you deserved... Sid: (laughs) First of all you don't get to talk down on me! I am the man...and second the old man Jose Lothario was training Shawn Michaels, he should've known better to have been at ringside and I would do it all over again and make him a cripple. Perfect: You can't just come back here and expect that I should take it...to be honest you don't deserve a title shot... Sid suddenly starts to choke Perfect! Perfect fights back, but Sid grasps on tightly and asks for a title shot and Perfect nods and gets on his knees. Suddenly the lights go out and Sid lets go. It's the Undertaker! He's right behind Sid. Sid turns around and Taker lands the chokeslam for RAW to go off the air!

- Sycho Sid is entitled to his rematch I mean he was the WWF Champion he never lost the title he wasn't made to submit he was not even pinned he was stripped of the title and in WWF rules when you lose a title you are contractually obligated to have a rematch for the title you lose...so Sid being back he wants the title back I can't blame him
- Sid attacking the WWF President Mr Perfect only for the lights to go out and the gong going off and the lights coming back on the WWF Champion The Undertaker takes out Sid with a Chokeslam...it looks like Sid/Taker will happen
- Mero getting Sable back it begs the question of where he goes from here especially after beating Triple H
- Bret I don't think we will see him until WWF Survjvor Series 1996 and that is where Rocky Maivia makes his official debut

Savio Vega def. Justin Bradshaw (w/Zebakiah) via pinfall to become the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship
Owen Hart def. Davey Boy Smith (w/Cornette) via Countout
Shawn Michaels is interviewed outside of his home in San Antonio. Shawn says he lost to the Undertaker fair and square. He says that he can never be 100% anymore, since he got beat up by Marines, collapsed in the ring in a match, and lost two chances for the WWF title to Sycho Sid and the Undertaker. Michaels says he's working with Jose Lothario and training every day and will be back in August. Michaels says no matter who is champion, he wants a match against Sycho Sid for what Sid did to Jose during Wrestlemania XII. In Your House 9 Report:
Dok Hendrix: I can't wait to see the Undertaker take on Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship at In Your House. So far four matches have been announced for the PPV and they are: Mankind vs. Ahmed Johnson in Singles competition
Goldust (w/Marlena) vs. Marc Mero (w/Sable) in Singles competition.
Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Savio Vega for the WWF Intercontinental Championship

Cornette finally gets Vader to back down and Vader says he wants a match with Yoko to teach him a lesson and Cornette says he'll make it happen. Ahmed Johnson def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley via pinfall.

Goldust/Mero feud I love it if only because of Sable and Marlena
Vader and Yoko feud...it is obvious Yokozuna is turning babyface or he will

In Your House 9 July 21st, 1996 GM Place, Vancouver, Canada Hosts: Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler FREE FOR ALL: Hunter Hearst Helmsley def. Henry O. Godwinn (w/Hillybilly Jim) via pinfall.
The third WWF PPV to enter Canada starts off with a promo with Steve Austin with the IC title. He starts to talk trash and says that he's going to "whip Savio Vega's a$$". Vince apologizes for the language. Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) def. Savio Vega via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Stone Cold got in the stunner to beat Vega. Mankind def. Ahmed Johnson via Submission.
Johnson went for his finisher, but Mankind countered with the mandible claw for the win. Goldust (w/Marlena) def. Marc Mero (w/Sable) via pinfall. During the match, Marlena made a move on Marc, while later Goldust makes a move on Sable. Goldust even gives Sable another gift. She's flattered, but finds him strange. Later Marlena "hugs" Sable, and Mero is distracted for Goldust to land his DDT finisher for the win. Vader (w/Cornette) def. Yokozuna (w/Mr. Fuji) via Decision. Jim Cornette was supposed to be in a Neutral Corner, but decides to join Vader. This is where Vader BREAKS Yokozuna's leg to the point that it took a forklift to fit Yokozuna into an ambulance! _______________________________ Post-Match promo:Cornette: I told the world and I'll say it again, it's definitely Vader time and time for whosoever is going to be the WWF Champion to finally give Vader a shot at the title. You talk about a man who took the 600 pound Yokozuna and broke his leg like he was nothing. Vader is the man, not Sycho Sid, not Undertaker, Vader is the man! Vader: How does it feel to know that I've dominated everyone in my path to victory that I ended the Ultimate Warrior's career in the WWF and now it looks like poor Yokozuna is going to have to end up on welfare ha. All my enemies, all my foes felt the house of pain. The time has come for my hands to feel the greatest prize in this business brother, it's my time, it's Vader time! _______________________________ The Bodydonnas (c) (w/Sunny) def. The Smoking Gunns to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. Although Sunny tried to distract the Gunns, they manage to get her kicked out by the referee, but it wasn't enough as Bart would be pinned by Skip for the win. _______________________________
The Undertaker (c) (w/Paul) vs. Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship. Not much is going to change between their original Wrestlemania 13 confrontation with the exception of the ending. Sid and Taker is a good main event to sell, but not a great match can come out of each others styles. Near the end, Sid powerbombs Taker who kicks out at three! Sid gets pissed and knocks down the referee. Sid starts to pound on Taker till suddenly Shawn Michaels runs in and superkicks Sid! Taker finally sits up and gets in the tombstone piledriver for the finish. Winner: The Undertaker via pinfall to retain the WWF Championship
