WRESTLEMANIA XIVPART 2 OF 3 DEGENERATIONS: Shawn Michaels & Triple H (c) (w/Chyna) vs. Vader & Steve Blackman (w/Sgt. Slaughter & Luna) in a Tag Team Match. If DX loses, Shawn Michaels will retire from the WWF
Vader & Steve Blackman are out with Luna and Slaughter. Before the match, Slaughter banned the New Age Outlaws from joining DX for the match. This is followed by the DX Band playing the DX theme for DX. Triple H is in first to take on Vader, and isn't able to bring the big guy down. Vader pummels Trips till he tags Blackman. Steve swipes Trips down and goes for an armbar, but Trips gets in the tag in time. Shawn runs and jumps Vader who was in the corner and falls. Shawn lands the sweet chin music on Blackman who falls to the outside. Shawn isn't able to perform at his best anymore because of his back. Trips argues with Shawn that he wants to stay in and they tag. Triple H works on Blackman till Steve makes a tag. Vader avalanches Triple H, but misses in a corner. Trips tags and Shawn lands a bulldog from the top rope on Vader. The match continues with Shawn trying his hardest to work as best to his ability, without risking too many bumps. Late in the match, Vader tries to go for a Vaderbomb on Shawn, but Shawn lands a lowblow. Vader makes the tag on Blackman. Steve runs in only to be met with the superkick! Shawn makes the desperate tag. Triple H gets in and starts working on Blackman. Trips makes the tag again to Shawn who gets back in, hits the ropes, Triple H pushes Blackman away and KICKS SHAWN IN THE GUT! PEDIGREE on HBK! JR is shouting bah-god-almighty! Lawler is also shocked. Triple H laughs and leaves the ring with the European title, abandoning Shawn. Blackman makes the tag. Vader lands a huge splash for the pin and win. Winner: Vader & Steve Blackman via pinfallAfter the match the Cell from the ceiling is being brought down to be set up for the ring. __________________________________________________________________________________ HELL IN A CELL: The Undertaker vs. Kane (w/Paul Bearer) in a Hell in a Cell MatchThe match plays similar to their original confrontation, but with a Cell and the finish. Kane has the upperhand late in the match and drags Taker's face across the cell till Taker starts to bleed. Kane slams Taker to the outside breaking the door open. Taker his hurt and desperately climbs to the top. Kane follows Taker slowly and chokes Taker landing the Chokeslam on the ceiling cage till it BREAKS (botched) and Taker falls badly. Kane climbs back down and gets back in the ring, giving enough time for Taker to take a breather. Paul Bearer shouts at Kane to destroy Taker. Kane is in the ring as Taker desperately climbs Kane and TAKES OFF HIS MASK! Kane looks hideous but quickly places his mask back on (much more than original, this time with some prosthetics to make it seem he really was burned instead of the "storyline" that he wasn't, in this diary it's a much darker story as we see that Taker killed his parents). Taker is shocked and feels a bit of remorse and even shouts "I'm sorry Kane". Kane gets Taker up and lands the tombstone piledriver for the one...two...KICKOUT! Kane doesn't believe it. He looks to Paul for help. Paul is upset and tells Kane to land another one. Taker sits up and lands a chokeslam. Taker gets in the tombstone for the one...two...KICKOUT! Taker doesn't believe it and lands a second tombestone for the NEARFALL! Taker is in total disbelief, Kane just won't be stopped. Taker does a THIRD TOMBSTONE to finally get the win. Winner: The Undertaker via pinfallKane sits up quickly, but lost the match as the Undertaker celebrates in a corner, trying to hang on. Paul grabs Kane's hair and tells him to stop and to save it for another day. As Kane slowly leaves the Cell is being lifted in the air. __________________________________________________________________________________ NWA INVASION: (Team NWA) Jeff Jarrett, Barry Windham & The Rock n'Roll Express (w/Jim Cornette) vs. (Team WWF) Bradshaw, Owen Hart & The Legion of Doom (w/Sunny) in an Eight-Man Tag
What starts off with a regular eight-man tag, leads to Cornette running to the back. He suddenly brings out other members of the stable including NWA Champion Dan Severn and the New Midnight Express to help out however they can. Team NWA focus mostly on Owen Hart, trying to keep in him in the match. As Dan and the Midnight Express work on the other members on the outside, other WWF Superstars make there way out including the Headbangers, Los Boricuas, Truth Commission, Disciples of Apocalypse and the Quebecers. It's an all out brawl on the outside till the Legion of Doom land their Doomsday finisher on Windham for the pin and win. Winner: Team WWF via pinfallTO BE CONTINUED...

I knew DX would lose the Tag Team match but what I didn't expect was Triple H the WWF European Champion turning on his DX teammate Shawn Michaels leaving Shawn to fend for himself hitting him with a Pedigree and then walking out on Shawn...I wonder if we will get an explanation from Triple H as to why he did what he did?
Taker beating Kane in Hell in a Cell I knew The Streak would go to 7-0 but Kane has come as close as any man ever has as far as trying to end Taker's streak but failing...I mean after Hell in a Cell can the rivalry really continue? I mean with a Hell in a Cell Match it pretty much signals finality to a feud it brings it to an end no?
Team WWF beating Team NWA I mean no way was NWA beating WWF especially on the Grandest Stage of Them All

Wrestlemania XIV PART 3 of 3The Main Event is up next and a video about the career of Bret "the Hitman" Hart, the WWF Champion and "leader of the New Generation" is shown from the day he first won the WWF title, to his win over Shawn Michaels and (second) heel turn. Thereafter a video of Stone Cold is shown of his career with winning the IC title to the KOTR. Another video shows Mr. McMahon and how he screwed Stone Cold and how it all led to the main event at Wrestlemania with Austin winning the Royal Rumble and beating Cactus Jack at No Way Out of Texas. Mike Tyson is brought out first as the Special Enforcer wearing a Bret Hart hockey jersey. He's accompanied by Mr. McMahon, Brisco, Patterson, Sgt. Slaughter and a security team. The Stooges all sit near ringside. Austin is shown in the back walking towards the entrance to a pop, glass shatters and Austin makes his way out to a MASSIVE POP. The crowd is excited for this one as the camera perfectly pans to Austin walking towards destiny. Bret Hart is out next to a lot of heat in his regular wrestling gear. Bret teases giving his glasses to a kid, but instead gives it to Mike Tyson to much heat as JR says that Bret is the biggest suck up he's ever seen. Bret gets into the ring, kisses the WWF title, hands it over to the ref and goes face to face with Austin. WWF CHAMPIONSHIP: Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin with SPECIAL ENFORCER Mike Tyson
Austin charges Bret with a double leg takedown and brawl on the mat. They start to punch each other out back and forth till they're outside the ring. Bret tosses Austin to the ring post headfirst and landing the suplex on the concrete. Bret goes for the SHARPSHOOTER on the outside! The ref starts to count but Mr. McMahon orders the ref not to count. Bret lets go and whips Austin towards the railings only for Austin to reverse it. Austin crotches Bret into the guardrail and hits a clothesline. They start to brawl into the crowd, climbing the steps til lthey go down and make it to the ring. They throw fists back and forth and not once has any one of them has had a breather. Austin whips Bret into the steel steps. Austin lands a clothesline to the apron and tosses Bret back in. Bret gains the upperhand now, and lands a swinging neckbreaker and the elbow from the middle rope. He gets in the superplex from the top rope. Bret works on Austin's left knee and continues to work on it till Bret manages to get in the figure four around the ringpost! Austin is struggling as Vince looks like he's about to screw Austin, but Mike Tyson tells Vince not too because he wants to see where this goes. Vince sits back down nodding. Austin doesn't surrender and Bret breaks it. Bret decides to grab a chair and starts to smash Austin's knee! The ref is about to call DQ, but Vince once again demands that he'll fire the ref if he calls the DQ. Austin is hurt as Bret gets to the tope rope and jumps for a double-axe handle only for Austin to smash Bret's gut with the chair! Vince shouts at Tyson who quickly takes the chair out. After a bodyslam, Austin gets in the irish whip, only for Bret to counter and knock Austin to the outside. He slams Austin's head to the railings and starts to use the camera cables to choke out Austin! The crowd is on their feet, everyone holding their breath. Bret lands several punches till an exhausted Austin crawls back into the ring. Bret shouts at Vince he's going to finish it off as Vince laughs. Bret gets in with another chair and starts to smash Austin's back three times! JR thinks this match should be over and the ref should call for the bell. Austin is hurt as Bret gets in the sharpshooter and it looks like its all over. However Austin just won't tap out. Austin struggles and even crawls towards the ropes, but Bret takes him back to the middle, this happens three times. Austin just won't give up till Bret gets frustrated and stops. Bret starts to work on Austin in a corner, irish whip, but Austin counters with Bret landing in the turnbuckle sternum first! Austin looks pissed and despite a bit of a limp he starts to land several kicks to Bret's chest and continues to stomp viciously! Bret rolls to the outside. Austin follows him till Bret smashes Austin with the ring bell, and falls on the referee who followed them to the outside! Bret has a smirk and tosses Austin back in. Austin is barely moving as Bret goes for the the middle rope elbow dive. Bret goes for the sharpshooter again till Vince decides to call for the bell with another screwjob.. .HOWEVER Mike Tyson STOPS Vince. Vince tells him to move out of the way. Tyson says let him make the call. Vince angrily sits down saying "fine". Tyson gets in and asks Austin if he gives up. Austin shakes his head and Bret starts to tell Tyson off. Bret lets go and gets in Tyson's face. Tyson gets pissed and PUNCHES BRET!!! Bret is knocked out cold as Vince is going nuts! Austin tries to get up as Bret barely moves. Tyson is now the ref and Vince is afraid of doing anything. Austin is up and Bret slowly sits up, Austin lands a kick and STUNNER! Austin locks it in for a SUPER FAST THREE COUNT!!!
Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via pinfall to become the NEW WWF ChampionVince goes absolutely nuts as the crowd EXPLODES with the biggest pop in history. Tyson holds up Austin's hands in the air and presents the WWF title to him. JR and Lawler are wondering what the heck is going on. Tyson takes off his jersey and throws it on top of Bret revealing an AUSTIN 3:16 shirt!! Austin flips off Vince who is having a nervous breakdown and leaves with Tyson to the back as Wrestlemania goes off air.

Shoot Interview with Bret "the Hitman" Hart
Interviewer: So we're at Wrestlemania XIV, you put Steve Austin over by dropping the WWF title in what many consider to be one of the greatest matches in history. The next night on RAW, you don't show up and in May you joined WCW. How did this all come to be? Bret: Well it started before Survivor Series...Vince brought me into his office and told me that he couldn't commit to my contract anymore. He gave me a choice, either stay or I could leave for WCW at any time and he'll help me get more money from them. I told him I still want to be in the WWF, but I felt in that discussion we had that it was obvious Vince wanted me out. Interviewer: Was he pushing you to leave right away? Bret: Well he wanted me out. Interviewer: Why is that? Bret: He didn't know where to put me with where the direction of the company was going and later I'd find out it was because he wanted to go public with the company and couldn't have a twenty year commitment (his contract)...So I told Vince give me a few days to think about it. So I talked to (Eric) Bischoff about coming down to WCW, but I told him I'd only consider it if he kept it secret. I also felt I wasn't done. I never liked putting Shawn over, but if there was one guy who I really wanted to put over and retire doing so it was Steve Austin. I was the one who vowed for Steve to Vince, so I'm really happy it worked out for him. I told him that I wanted to work with Steve and drop the belt to him and leave in April. He accepted. Interviewer: But you weren't there in April... Bret: That's the thing that bothered me. I even though before Wrestlemania since I had allied with Mr. McMahon, that he found the right role with me you know. That he knew where to position me. Business was picking up especially with Tyson showing up. One day he called me to his office in conneticut, and I thought you know what maybe we'll make a new deal. I didn't mind taking a pay cut, I really wanted to stay...so Vince just basically wanted me to give in my notice on paper and that really got to me. I felt like crap, but thought you know what at least I have a chance to give my farewell after Wrestlemania. The worst part was the day of...at the arena, Vince told me he didn't need me to show up on RAW. And I figured it was obvious he didn't want me around. So I was off for a month, got paid for it and left for WCW. I always thought that I'd leave, work with the WCW for a few years and return to the WWF you know, it was home, but Vince didn't give me that...that opportunity to connect with the WWF fans and thank them you know...I felt bitter about it.

- Austin wins the WWF Championship...he beats Bret The Hitman Hart and now Bret can go to WCW now especially now that in his Shoot Interview it was pretty much him leaving the WWF...hence him putting over Austin and now Stone Cold can truly take over as the face of the company
- I wonder what Vince will have to say about Mania about how Tyson screwed him or what he will have to say about Bret

Vince McMahon's Declaration of the Attitude Era March 30th, 1998, RAW is WAR Opening It has been said that anything can happen here in the World Wrestling Federation, but now more than ever, truer words have never been spoken. This is a conscious effort on our part to open the Creative Envelope, so to speak, in order to entertain you in a more contemporary manner. Even though we call ourselves "Sports Entertainment" because of the athleticism involved, the keyword in that phrase is "Entertainment". The WWF extends far beyond the strict confines of sports presentation into the wide open environment of broad based entertainment. We borrow from such programs niches like soap-operas, like "The Days of Our Lives", or, music videos such as those on MTV, Daytime talk-shows like "Jerry Springer" and others, cartoons like "The King of The Hill" on FOX, Sitcoms like "Seinfeld", and other widely accepted forms of television entertainment. Quite frankly, We, in the WWF, think that you, the audience, are tired of having your "intelligence insulted". We also think that you're tired of the same old "Good Guys vs Bad Guys". Surely the era of "The super-hero urging you to say your prayers and take your vitamins" is definitely, passe. Therefore, we've embarked on a far more innovative and contemporary creative campaign, called the "Attitude Era", or simply WWF Attitude, that is far more invigorating and extemporaneous than ever before. However, due to the live nature of "RAW" and the "WarZone", we encourage some degree of parental discretion, as relates to the younger audience allowed to stay up late. Other WWF programs on USA, such as "LiveWire", and "Superstars", where there's a 40% increase in the younger audience, however, need no such discretion. We are responsible television producers who work hard to bring you this outrageous, wacky, wonderful world known as the WWF. Through some 50 years the World Wrestling Federation has been an entertainment main-stay here in North America, and all over the world. One of the reasons for that longevity is: As the times have changed, so have we. I'm happy to say that this new vibrate, creative direction has resulted in a huge increase in television viewership, for which we thank the USA Network and TSN for allowing us to have the creative freedom. But most especially, we would like to thank you, for watching. RAW and the WarZone are definitely the cure for the common show.

RAW is WAR March 30th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
Vince McMahon is in the ring with the new WWF Championship belt with the Attitude Era logo. Vince: Tonight was supposed to be a night of glory, a night where the future of my company, where the new Attitude Era was to begin...the right way. This very WWF title belt that is bigger and better than ever, was meant to be in the hands of the model WWF Superstar, the greatest WWF Champion in history. But I guess after last night, that model WWF Champion is no longer with the WWF. It breaks my heart...it really does to say this...but I guess sometimes you got to take it in, take a deep breath dammit and accept reality. So...what the heck it's a new era, a new day, a new Championship belt so ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to bring out your NEW WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin (massive pop) Austin makes his way out with the old Winged-Eagle title belt and gets in the ring and THROWS the old belt unto Vince's feet! Vince pouts in pain and the old belt is now gone. Austin grabs the new title belt and starts to pose with it.
Vince: Alright Mr. Austin let's get down to business. I know we haven't seen eye to eye, but it's a new era here in the World Wrestling Federation and dammit I want to start it off the right way. And Austin, as much as...(gulps)...as much as it hurts me saying this, congratulations on winning the WWF Championship last night at Wrestlemania XIV. Austin: First of all we still don't see eye to eye. You tried to screw me over on numerous ocassions last night. I'll never forget the screwjob, I'll never forget how you wanted to ensure that this day would never come, well I got news for you Stone Cold is the new face of the World Wrestling Federation and I'll tell ya, this title belt is going nowhere except on my shoulders. Vince: (gulps) Well Mr. Austin...I still think we should start over. A fresh start, for you and me. Austin think about it, together with your physical presence, and my mind and fortitude dammit we could take over the world of Sports Entertainment and no one can take us on Austin. We will have no rival, and heck you have the potential to become the greatest WWF Champion there has ever lived, but only...and under one condition, you agree to work with me...you know work with the system. Austin: You want me to work with a jackass like you? Vince: Look, I'm being nice. You have no idea how hard this is for me. You don't, so you can either take the easy way, or the hard way, it's your choice. Austin: And what's the hard way? Vince: Well the easy way is we work together, and the hard way well Austin we'll be back to square one and you don't want to go there especially since you're the WWF Champion now. Austin: Let me just think about it....(looks away and STUNNER on McMahon!) Austin poses for the fans as Vince is laying on his back, staring at the ceiling in horror. ____________________________________________________________________ Jim Ross announces that the referee's decision for the WWF Tag Team title match at Wrestlemania has been revoked due to the fact that it was the "wrong dumpster" and that the New Age Outlaws are STILL the WWF Tag Team Champions. Tonight they'll be in a Steel Cage match, giving Jack and Charlie another opportunity at the titles. Marc Mero def. Taka Michinoku (c) via pinfall in a non-title match. Mero calls out the real Sable and she makes it to the ring. Mero trashes Sable saying that what she's done to her body is plain wrong and that she should cover herself. Sable says Mero can't say anything to her and a woman has the right to do whatever she wants. Mero gets angry and SHOVES Sable down! He starts to talk down on her, threatening to beat her up! Sable is almost in tears as Mero kicks her outside saying that Goldust is a better "Sable" than she is. Sable is hurt and leaves with some WWF Officials as Mero talks trash about women these days not having class and feminism itself. Kurgan (w/Jackyl) def. Chainz via pinfallKen Shamrock & Steve Blackman def. Do-Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa (w/The Rock) via pinfall. The Rock get on the mic and says he layed the smackdown on Faarooq the Jabroni and that the Intercontinental Championship belt will stay on his waist for as long as he likes till he is ready for the new WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. ____________________________________________________________________ Triple H makes his way out with Chyna. HHH: I know what you're all thinking. Why Triple H why! Why would I pedigree the man, the showstopper, the main event, well Shawn Michaels didn't main event anything at Wrestlemania. Shawn Michaels didn't stop anything last night because let's face it I was the showstopper last night. Shawn thinks he's the leader fo the Kliq, well Shawn you're mistaken, the Kliq isn't even together and you're stuck in the past. And as far as Shawn being the man? Ever heard of in with the new Heartbreak Kid? You all heard Vince McMahon announcing the Attitude Era. It's a new Era, and the world knows that we don't need the New Generation anymore. And Shawn, you are history. You belong to a time of saying your prayers, eating your vitamins, and excellence of executions and all that nonsense. I am the future, I've embraced WWF Attitude...and as defacto leader of the D-Generation X, with Chyna and the New Age Outlaws by my side, I would like to bring out a young man who I admire to become the newest member of DX, X-Pac! X-Pac makes his way out and talks about returning to the WWF and that if anyone doesn't like it they can "Suck it". ____________________________________________________________________ The Midnight Express def. The Headbangers via pinfall
The New Age Outlaws (c) (w/Chyna, Triple H and X-Pac) def. Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie via Out of Cage to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships

Austin marks a new Era here in the WWF now that Bret is no longer the WWF Champion and Austin now that he is the Champion I can't see Vince letting this slide...I can see Vince and his Stooges making life miserable for Austin or trying to I wonder who Austin's first title defense will be?
Now that Rock is still the WWF Intercontinental Champion and leader of The Nation I wonder who his next title defense will be against?
As for HHH explaining why he turned on HBO it makes so much sense but with him as the now new leader of DX...X Pac joins DX that is a huge coup

He starts to drop oil on himself. Paul tries to reason with him. Paul: What is the reason of this! Stop it Kane, you wanted the Undertaker you had your chance at Wrestlemania. Kane grabs Bearer and throws him to the outside! Vince McMahon runs out and shouts on the mic he has. Vince: Stop it, stop it this instant! Kane looks at Vince who is in the ring now.Vince: Look Kane, look at me. When you want to get things done, you go through me. You demanded the Undertaker dammit I can deliver him to you, however and wherever you want (Kane nods) good you understand. Kane think about your life, think about what he did to your mother, think about how he burned you, I need that rage damn it. I can make things happen for you, I can make you the next WWF Champion dammit, I can fulfill your destiny to bury the Undertaker the way out want! (Kane nods) Good good...then I want you to face Stone Cold Steve Austin this Sunday...(Kane shakes his head) Dammit, look at me, you feel like burning yourself to send a message to your brother, for all the pain you've had dammit, why do you want him to get away with it? Why give him a good life. The Undertaker is a former two time WWF Champion, think about it Kane. You could surpass him heck if you feel like you need a bit of fire then not only will you face Steve Austin for the WWF title, you'll do it in the first ever...Inferno Match! That's right the first man who is set on fire loses the match. If you win Kane, I'll make your wildest dreams come true. Join me (Kane nods) Good! (Vince laughs) ______________________________________ Chainsaw Charlie def. Bombastic Bob via DQ. Mankind makes his return and runs in to attack Charlie! He blames Charlie for turning him into Cactus Jack as he lands in the mandible claw to lock it in for a minute till WWF Officials break it up. The Rock (c) def. Too Cold Scorpio via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match the Rock gets on the mic. The Rock: After beating up the jabroni Faarooq who I know for a fact that Kama Mustafa will defeat later tonight, I've felt like it's time for me to climb the ladder all the way to the top. Earlier tonight we almost saw a man burn himself to death because his jabroni brother the Undertaker couldn't show up. The Undertaker went through hell to defeat Kane, and I know he's been weakened. No one could withstand that much punishment so I know for a fact this is my opportunity, the opportunity for the Rock to open up a challenge to the Undertaker because can you smell what the Rock is cooking? LOD 2000 (w/Sunny) def. The Headbangers via pinfall. During the match, The New Age Outlaws steel LOD's helmet gear and piss on it in the back laughing. After a commercial break a fight breaks out in the back between LOD and DX. Marc Mero (w/Luna Vachon) def. Mosh (w/Trasher) via pinfall. Luna joins forces with Mero till Sable runs out on with Shamrock. Shamrock attacks Mero, while Sable takes a few shots at Luna as Mero and Luna run off. Faarooq def. Kama (w/NoD) in a Street Fight. After the match, the NoD with the Rock pummel on Faarooq. Owen Hart runs out to help Faarooq. The lights go dark and it's the Undertaker! Taker appears out of nowhere and attacks the NoD! The Rock runs off on his own talking trash against Taker. Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out. Austin: So Vince McMahon chickened out last week and I still came out on top with one hand tied behind my back. Now he's allied himself with the big red machine, well I got news for you I ain't afraid of no inferno match. You'd think a guy whose been burnt before would be afraid of the fire, but I ain't because at Unforgiven, I'll be more ready for Kane. I know what you're all thinking, how can Stone Cold defeat a guy who took three tombstone piledrivers to take down, well it's become Stone Cold says so! Steve Blackman def. Road Dogg (w/DX) via submission till Triple H gets in the pedigree to close off RAW. Unforgiven: In Your House REPORTThe Nation (The Rock, D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry) (w/Kama) vs. The Undertaker, Faarooq, and Owen Hart in a Six-man tag match

- Austin in his 1st WWF Championship title defense he has to face Kane The Undertaker's brother but in not just any regular singles match he has to face him in the first ever Inferno Match in the WWF...I don't see how Austin survives as WWF Champion I mean this stacks the deck against Austin because he doesn't even have to be pinned or even be made to submit...no countouts no DQ no escape the only way to win is to set your opponent on fire and the ring will be surrounded by fire which means no way out for Austin or Kane...at Unforgiven 1998 only one man will be left standing as the WWF Champion and the other will be set on fire
- The Nation that being the WWF Intercontinental Champion The Rock, Mark Henry and D'Lo will be teaming up to face the team of Undertaker, Owen Hart and Faarooq in a 6 Man Tag Team Match...I can't wait to see what happens...will Owen Hart join The Nation? I mean considering in real life Owen was a member of The Nation so I wonder if he would actually join Rock, Henry, D'Lo and Kama?
- Sable taking on Luna Vachon...I wonder if this means Mero and Shamrock will end up facing each other sooner or later?
- Mankind vs Chainsaw Charlie...love that Mankind is back because now after this I wonder if we will get Undertaker/Mankind Hell in a Cell at King of the Ring? And we end up seeing Undertaker throwing Mankind off of the Cell not once but twice because that is such an iconic moment in WWF history I mean come on

Unforgiven: In Your House April 26th, 1998 Greensboro Coliseum, North Carolina Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler
Highlights of the Austin-McMahon Feud are shown along with Kane's storyline leading to the Inferno Match. Triple H (c) (w/Chyna and X-Pac) def. Steve Blackman via pinfall to retain the WWF European Championship. Despite Blackman seeing some success in the WWF, Triple H finally takes him down with little interference to land the pedigree for the win. Sable (w/Ken Shamrock) def. Luna Vachon (w/Marc Mero) via submission. Mero tries to get involved in the match, but each time he tries, Shamrock is in the way. Sable manages to get in an ankle lock submission for the win. Mero gets close enough to Sable, and she's really afraid of him. Shamrock SNAPS and gives Mero three belly-to-belly suplexes and the ankle lock as he taps out. After the match Owen Hart was in the back making his way out of the parking lot for his tag match later in the night till he was viciously attacked by the Nation! Ken Shamrock runs out and starts attacking the Nation on his own. Shamrock joins the Tag match.Mankind def. Chainsaw Charlie via Decision. The match began with Mankind getting in the ring with a Cactus Jack t-shirt. JR wonders if he has completely transformed, or if a bit of Cactus Jack is still "in there". Despite being a singles match, the match became a hardcore match as both men knock down the referee for a whole ten minutes. Chairs and tables are used. Finally Charlie gets out his chainsaw to go after Mankind, but Mankind gets in the mandible claw as Charlie passes out. Mankind grabs a trash can from the outside and tosses it in the ring. Charlie barely could get up till Mankind tosses the can over him and he falls. Mankind goes to the top rope for a back body dive as the ref is up and calls for the bell as Charlie lays motionless. The Undertaker, Faarooq, and Ken Shamrock (w/Sable) def. The Nation (The Rock, D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry) (w/Kama) via pinfall. The Rock and the Undertaker finally go face to face during the match. Taker goes for a quick chokeslam, but the Rock drops a DDT mid-air. The Rock lands a Rock Bottom, but Faarooq breaks count. Late in the match, the Undertaker drops a double chokeslam on D-Lo and Mark Henry. The Rock decides to ABANDON the Nation! Kama shouts at the Rock for help, but the Rock refuses as he leaves with the IC title belt! Taker gets the tombstone on D-Lo for the pin and win. The New Age Outlaws (c) (w/"Dean Smith" blow up doll) def. LOD 2000 (w/Sunny) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. Nothing changes here from the original match. The odd finish led to the LOD 2000 getting pissed off and land the Doomsday Device finisher on the referee! ________________________________________ Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Kane (w/Vince McMahon) in an Inferno Match for the WWF ChampionshipKane is in the ring awaiting Austin with Vince on the outside to watch the match. Paul Bearer is no where to be found and for the match the referee stays on the outside. Austin makes his way out to a big pop. He's finally in and gets in the corner and the ring is now surrounded by fire! Kane stands motionless. Austin runs into Kane with punches and kicks, but could barely make Kane move a whole lot till they get into a corner. Kane tosses Austin into the corner like he was a baby and lands elbows. He starts to choke out Austin who struggles in the corner. Austin fires back, but Kane starts to choke out Austin. Austin tries to fight back but to no avail. Kane gets Austin close enough to the flames, but Austin gets back in time when one of the flames bursts high. Austin tries to get a breather till Kane lands a chokeslam! Vince on the outside grabs a chair and throws it in the ring for Kane demanding he uses it. Kane grabs the chair and smashes Austin right to the skull! Kane lands kicks and grabs Austin who is now cut and gets him close enough for the flames till Austin starts to fire back continuously. Austin hits the ropes, and almost burnt his back! He felt the heat and halts only for Kane to lift Austin for the tombstone! Austin shakes it off manages to break the hold. Kane starts to choke Austin till Austin kicks him and lands the Stunner! Austin tries to roll Kane towards the flames, but Kane starts to choke Austin now! Kane is up and whips Austin to a corner hard. Kane goes for the clothesline, but Austin gets out of the way. Austin climbes the top rope for a bulldog and lands it. Austin starts to land several punches on Kane on the mat, but Kane pushes him aside. Austin gets to the middle rope in a corner and lands a clothesline on the big guy. Kane falls to the mat as Austin gets to the middle rope again. Kane sits up quickly and chokes Austin. He lifts him up to the tope rope, but Austin fires back. Kane follows Austin to the top and drops Austin to the outside! Kane watches wondering what he should do as Austin is up. Austin looks at McMahon who gulps and tries to hide away from Austin's sight. Austin tries to run till OUT OF NOWHERE from the top rope Kane JUMPS far enough to land on Austin with a clothesline in effect knocking down Austin, the referee, Sgt. Slaughter (who came out around this time) and a security guard at the same time. There was a pop for that bump. Kane is up and starts going after Austin, but Austin manages to reverse an irish whip into the railings. Austin slams Kane into the steel steps. He grabs a chair and smashes it over Kane's back three times as Kane ends up getting close enough to the apron! Austin goes after McMahon who runs to the back as everyone watches in horror with Kane's right arm bursts in flame! Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via pinfall to retain the WWF ChampionshipThe flames stop and Austin gets back in the ring to celebrate the night away.

- Stone Cold Steve Austin retains the WWF Championship beating Kane...I would have thought that for sure that Paul Bearer would show up during this match to at least help his son and seeing Vince & the Stooges try to interfere to help Kane to set Austin on fire only backfired because Austin was ready for them he expected it and hell Kane this whole match he more or less dominated Austin but Austin took the fight to Kane this whole match too he certainly didn't hold back as this match was back and forth but Austin prevailed nevertheless in his first title defense beat Kane in Kane's own environment in his own match an Inferno Match even with the odds severely stacked against him he still managed to get the win...it makes me wonder if Kane couldn't get the job done then who can?
- The Rock being the WWF Intercontinental Champion leaving his Nation teammates high and dry as The Undertaker, Faarooq and Shamrock who replaced Owen Hart managed to beat the team of The Nation (Rock, Henry and D'Lo) w/Kama...Rock obviously being smart wanted no part of The Undertaker so no doubt he would walk out on the match and with the babyfaces getting the win I wonder what this means for The Nation going forward?
- The New Age Outlaws retaining their WWF Tag Team titles being LOD 2000 to retain their titles I mean if Chainsaw Charlie & Cactus Jack couldn't get the job done and if The LOD can't then who realistically can beat Road Dogg & Billy for those titles?
- Mankind beating Chainsaw Charlie...I just hope this builds towards Undertaker/Mankind at King of the Ring 1998 in Hell in a Cell because that is such an iconic moment in WWF history that you cannot change it I mean seriously that match was such a classic but with Mankind back that match is inevitable
- Sable beating Luna...I mean after that I wonder if Sable will work her way towards a WWF Women's Championship? I mean you may as well bring back the WWF Women's Championship...gives the women in the WWF something to do at least but with Shamrock making the save for Sable just as Mero was about to attack her I wonder if that will lead to a Shamrock/Mero feud?

RAW is WAR April 27th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Michael ColeRAW opens with DX launching an assault on WCW. Triple H gets his team motivated to fire the first shot against "dubya see dubya". JR says that the DX is acting alone in this and the WWF is not involved. Luna Vachon (w/Mero) def. Sable (w/Shamrock) in an "Evening Gown" Match. After the match, Mero and Shamrock got into an altercation, but WWF Officials stop them before it got worse. After the match, Vince McMahon makes his way out. Vince: Last night at Unforgiven, I've never felt more dizzy, more nauseous in my life. Stone Cold Steve Austin defended the WWF Championship for the first time, but dammit I'm going to make sure it'll be his last time because later tonight he's going to be in a match with a special guest referee, and I'm talking about my Advisor who is a great human being, one of a kind, that's Gerald Brisco dammit Austin if you even touch Brisco you'll be FIRED from the WWF..because you see Austin you used a steel chair to cheat your way to burning Kane like he was nothing, like he wasn't a human being because that's the kind of sick man you are. O don't worry about Kane, he'll be back soon for you Austin! So tonight Stone Cold Steve Austin will be taking on the Disciples of Apocalyse in a Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship! That's right Austin let's see you try to handle two on one! Terry Funk & Two Cold Scorpio def. The Headbangers via DQ.
DX segment with their invasion of WCW. They get close enough to the gates as Triple H asks if WCW fans have free tickets for tonight's WCW Nitro. They say hi to their friends Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Bradhsaw def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via DQ. After the match WCW closes the gate to the arena as DX brings out their vehicle and "weapons" and try to break down the gate to no avail. Vince McMahon is in the back in his office talking to Gerald Brisco about being the special guest referee later tonight. Brisco tells Vince that this is a good opportunity to get the title off of Austin's hands. The Rock makes his way out without the Nation. The Rock: I know what you're all thinking about, rumours have it that last night I abandoned the Nation of Domination. Let me tell you something, when the ship sinks, the captain goes along with it. I just did what was necessary for the ship to survive. It was needed. The Undertaker I realize is no flash in the pan, but the Rock is ready to beat his candy ass if I have too...(the arena goes dark, the Rock gets frightened, but no Taker) O no! What do I do o no the Undertaker o no Blaaahhhhh screw the Undertaker ha, he ain't coming in tonight because the Rock has made sure that he wouldn't show up to this stupid town called Hampton, look at all you fat asses out here they should've called it ham-town...and how did I stop the Undertaker you ask? I stole his plane ticket last night and I didn't have to because he's afraid of the Rock! The lights go dim again and the Rock looks around. Rock: Hey I didn't ask for the lights to go dim...(it's the UNDERTAKER!) The Rock turns around and he sees Taker standing behind him! Take lands the Chokeslam right in the middle of the ring. The Nation run out to help the Rock, despite Rock's betrayal last night, JR says they seem to still be loyal to the Rock. Taker takes them down one by one till the Rock rolls away and leaves. Steve Blackman def. Taka Michinoku (c) via Submission to become the NEW WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. 8-Ball vs. Skull in a Triple Threat for the WWF Championship
Gerald Brisco makes his way out in a referee outfit as he gets in the ring. The DoA come out first along with Chainz who will be on the outside. Austin makes his way out next to a big pop. As Austin is posing for the fans in the corner, Vince McMahon makes his way out and replaces the timekeeper! Austin looks pissed and the match begins. Austin starts punching out both 8-Ball and Skull back and forth and take them both down! Austin is relentless, he viciously attacks both men in a corner and even whips one of them into the other. Austin kicks 8-Ball and lands the STUNNER! Austin goes for the pin till Brisco does the SLOWEST COUNT in history giving Skull enough time to break it. The match continues till the DOA get Austin to the outside and with Chainz they start to beat down on Austin. Austin is back in the ring as 8-Ball goes for the pin with a SUPERFAST COUNT to two! JR says this is completely unfair. Austin gets the upperhand and STUNNER on Skull! One...two...Brisco says theres something in his eye. Austin is up and gets close enough to Brisco. Brisco shouts he'll be fired. 8-Ball attacks Austin, but Austin gets in the STUNNER and goes for the pin...One...Two...Brisco's hand hurts from the second count and he runs to the outside to get it checked by Vince. Austin gets pissed that he goes to the outside and grabs a chair and smashes Chainz with it. He comes back in the ring as "paramedics" arrive to check up on Brisco's hand. Austin smashes both DoA members with the chair and throws it away. Austin sits in the corner waiting on Brisco. Vince calls out Patt Patterson as "backup referee". Patterson takes his "time" to get to the ring. Patterson is in the ring as Austin decides wth STUNNER on Patterson! Vince looks pissed and rings the bell. Winner: 8-Ball and Skull via DQ. Vince: (gets on the mic) Austin I told you if you lay one hand... Austin: (gets a mic) You listen to me here you sob there is nothing wrong with that sob's hand because you said if I lay one hand on Brisco I'd be fired, you didn't say anything about anyone else, so that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so! 8-Ball and Skull are back up as Austin stuns them both! RAW goes off air with Vince getting pissed off.

RAW is WAR May 4th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Champion Roll Call:
WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin WWF Intercontinental Champion: The Rock WWF World Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws WWF European Champion: Triple H WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Steve Blackman
Marc Mero comes out to open RAW to much heat. Mero: I have a few words to say because I'm sick and tired of Ken Shamrock getting in my way. Doesn't he understand that Sable was my girl to start with? What you're training her to fight? Fight who? Me? Ha are you kidding me! I'm a man! You understand? A man! Let's be honest, women have no business in wrestling or any other sport. Do you see women in football? No. Women should be clothed from head to toe, their place is in the kitchen, making sure they've prepared a hot meal when their man comes home (gets huge heat from the female crowd). Sable makes her way out and on the mic. Sable: First of all, women can do anything they want. This is a free country. All we ask for is fairness as equals. Marc: I'm sure there are guys in the back who would disagree. You have a loud mouth, and should shut it. Sable slaps Mero in the face! Mero GRABS her from behind with a chickenwing hold and shouts like crazy to see if she can get out of the hold. Sable tries to get out of the hold till Ken Shamrock runs in to the ring! Shamrock gets Mero in the ankle lock! Mero runs off as Ken checks up on Sable. The Rock (c) def. Owen Hart via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match, the lights go dim and turn back on. The Rock runs away through the crowd in fear! Note: In this diary, this marks Owen Hart's last WWF appearance as he joins with his brother Bret in WCW a month later. The Montreal Screwjob never happened here and Bret leaves WWF with a promise from WCW that they would bring in Owen too. I haven't placed Owen into the main event scene in this diary and he was never really a heel. For all we know there wouldn't be much left for him if there was no screw-job. I was really hurt with what happened to him in real life, and want to leave it out of the diary except for a dedication if we come to it later.
A Vignette of Edge is shown on RAW.D-Generation X come out and talk about how they invaded WCW and succeeded in their plans. They said no one is watching WCW anymore and Nitro can SUCK IT. Out comes Jim Cornette with Jeff Jarrett and the New Midnight Express. Cornette: I have never seen anything more humiliating, more embarassing for a bunch of losers like you degenerates to disrespect wrestlers the way you did. I of all people know what WCW is about, but you had no business being out there. Triple H: First of all, you're representing the NWA. You invaded our territory and got your asses handed to you at Wrestlemania. Second, you people have no business out here in a WWF ring. Talk about irony, the NWA can just suck it. The NWA and DX go at it! X-Pac and Chyna also jump in and help them out. Dan Severn runs out as the NWA Champion and knocks down the DX. Dan gets in a submission hold on Triple H till WWF Officials stop them.Savio Vega def. Chainz via pinfall
LOD 2000 (w/Sunny) def. The Disciples of Apocalypse via pinfallVignette of Val Venis is shown with Jenna Jameson fiming "Soldier of Love".No Holds Barred Match: Mankind fought Chainsaw Charlie to a No Decision. As the hardcore rematch goes on from Unforgiven, Stone Cold makes an appearance during the match and STUNS both Mankind and Charlie! Austin: (gets on the mic) Last week on RAW, Vince McMahon tried to screw Stone Cold Steve Austin, and once again I'm standing here with the WWF title in my hands. So you better understand son... The lights turn red it's the big red machine! Kane's right arm is bandaged and he runs in to attack Austin! Austin fires back, but Kane won't have it as he throws Austin into a corner and lands the chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Kane grabs the WWF title and looks it it as RAW goes off air!

RAW is WAR May 11th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Sunday Night Heat is announced coming to the USA Network on August 2nd, 1998 and will host six episodes (which wouldn't be the case as it gained popularity and continued to be the second top show for the WWF till Smackdown). Paul Bearer makes his way out to much frustration. Paul: My son Kane has been obsessed ever since Wrestlemania in destroying the Undertaker. I want my son back, I want him to stop his obsession! But Vince McMahon has somehow taken control of my Kane! Vince McMahon has his ear, and this has to stop! Vince makes his way out to a strut. Vince: What you need to understand Paul Bearer, is that I'm the boss. I'm giving Kane a future you could never give. I promise Kane that he'll get his revenge on the Undertaker and he will. But first he must accomplish the task at hand, he must destroy Stone Cold Steve Austin! Kane makes his way out with his bandaged arm.Paul: Kane, listen to reason, I'm your father! I delivered the Undertaker to you twice! The first time you defeated him in this very ring, the second he could barely finish you off! McMahon allowed you to be burned! Look at that arm! That was not my doing, that was Mr. McMahon's doing! Vince: Don't listen to him because I have the best doctors that are treating that arm in fact I can give you more than an arm Kane. I can give you something you could never imagine! (Kane looks back and forth at Paul and Vince) Paul: I'm your father Kane! Come back to me! Vince: I can restore that burnt face of yours behind that mask! I have the money dammit! Paul: You know that's not possible! Vince: It is! There is a doctor I know who can do it. Dammit I will deliver the Undertaker and you will have your vengeance! Paul: Please Kane! Kane looks back and forth till he gets closer to Vince! Vince gulps and backs away to a corner. Till suddenly Kane turns around and chokes Paul Bearer! He lands a choke slam on his own father! Vince: (laughs) Yes Kane dammit I need that rage! Destroy him (JR is sickened by this), he's made false promises to you dammit destroy him! Kane lifts Paul Bearer and lands the Tombstone Piledriver! ______________________________________________________________________ The New Age Outlaws (c) def. The New Midnight Express (w/Cornette) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team ChampionshipsStone Cold Steve Austin comes out of the parking lot and looks angry. Kevin Kelly tries to interview him. Austin gives a cold stare and Kelly backs away. Steve Blackman (c) def. Justin Bradshaw via pinfall to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. The Kai En Tai make their RAW stable debut (Togo, Teioh and Funkai) and run in after the match with Taka Michinoku leading them. They attack both men, but target Blackman as revenge for Taka losing the title with Taka turning heel here. A promo of Ken Shamrock training Sable in the gym is shown. Faarooq def. Jeff Jarrett (w/Lee) via pinfall after X-Pac and Chyna run in and knock down Jeff for Faarooq to get the pin. After the match, Kama, Henry and D-Lo get in the ring. They start to apologize to Faarooq for choosing the Rock over Faarooq. They start to BEG for forgiveness and want Faarooq back. They said the Undertaker attacking them was the last straw especially since the Rock abandoned them at Unforgiven. D-Lo hands over Faarooq's original Beret. Faarooq wears it as they all salute towards Faarooq. Kevin Kelly is in the back with Mr. McMahon who is on his way to his office. Kelly asks about Kane and Vince says no comment. Kelly asks what he has planned for Austin tonight and he says that Austin will be taking on Goldust tonight and he's bringing in the best there is, the best there was as Special Guest Referee (the crowd wonder what the heck as Bret is in WCW) to make sure things go "smoothly". Chainsaw Charlie & Scorpio def. The Headbangers via pinfall
Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Goldust for the WWF Championship with a Special Guest Referee.Vince McMahon comes out and talks trash about Austin. He says he's bringing out the "best there is and the best there was" out here right now to be a Special Guest Referee. And he is none other than...Pat Patterson! Patterson makes his way in the ring and shakes Vince's hand as he goes to the outside. Goldust and Austin are in the ring and they go at it. Austin beats the living daylights out of Goldust till they are on the outside. Austin smashes Goldust into the steelsteps and railings till Patterson stops Austin. Austin flips him off. The match ends as Vince McMahon grabs a ringbell and tries to knock down Austin till he accidentally knocks down Goldust! Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via Countout to retain the WWF ChampionshipVince gets on the mic and shouts for Kane. Kane makes his way out and Austin is ready for him. They start to land several punches back and forth till Austin gets in the Stunner! Austin grabs the WWF title belt and poses in a corner till Kane sits up and stands up. Austin smashes the WWF title over Kane's head as RAW goes off air!

RAW is WAR May 18th, 1998 Hosts: Jim Ross and Michael Cole
Vince McMahon, Brisco and Patterson make their way out to open RAW. Vince: Now that Kane has proven that when a man needs something he'll do anything even destroy his own father (gets a lot of heat from the crowd). You can hate me all you want because Stone Cold Steve Austin has been barred from entering the arena tonight. In fact I'm giving him nearly two weeks off! Do you know why? Because I can dammit, I'm Vince McMahon! Security is doubling their efforts to make sure that Austin doesn't show up. Austin needs to learn that he made the biggest mistake of his life turning away my offer. In fact, the worst is yet to come for him because on May 31st, at Over the Edge PPV, Stone Cold will be defending the WWF Championship against Kane in the first ever First Blood match! That's right, the first man to get cut open, to bleed even if it was a scratch will lose the match! (JR says that is completely unfair as Kane has a mask) So enjoy your vacation time Austin, because I know I will (laughs). Backstage Jerry Lawler is walking in with someone with a towel over their head. Security check up to see who it is and it's not Austin. Val Venus (RAW debut) def. Scorpio via pinfall with the "Money Shot" finisher. The Rock makes his way out to much heat with the Intercontinental title belt. Rock: Last week those cowards joined up with Faarooq. Well that won't stop the Rock from finishing the job. I have allies you can't even imagine so the Nation of Domination can stick Faarooq up their candy asses all they want. I don't need them because they needed the Rock. They always needed the Rock! At Over the Edge, the Undertaker will be taking on the Great One for the Intercontinental Championship. One on one, the most-electrifying man in sports entertainment, the Rock will conquer the Undertaker! The Undertaker: (on titantron) Rocky Maivia (Rocky shouts he's the Rock), you've never truly tasted my wrath. At Over the Edge, not only will I walk away as the WWF Intercontinental Champion, the Rock will... Rock: It doesn't matter what you think, the Rock doesn't back down. The Rock isn't afraid, the Rock will triumph and I guaran-damn-tee it! LOD 2000 fought the DoA to a Double CountoutBackstage the man in the towel that Lawler brought in is revealed to be the WWF return of Al Snow (in this diary he debuted with Unabomb aka. Kane with their original gimmicks). Kai En Tai (Togo & Teioh) (w/Taka Michinoku) def. The Headbangers via DQ. Stone Cold Steve Austin is seen outside of the Arena as Security won't let his car enter the parking lot. Security detail run towards him and start to tell him that he's been barred from entering. I don't know why you would have The Rock break away from The Nation so easily and so quickly too but also I don't get why you would have the other Nation members take Faarooq back much less why they would even align themselves with him again I seriously do not understand that
Seeing Kane turn on his own father Paul Bearer now that was shocking I definitely wouldn't have called that but now seeing Austin vs Kane in a First Blood Match for the title I say Kane walks out as the new WWF Champion
