Everyone saw how it all went down, but how it ended no no no that wasn't the plan at all. I brought you in Diesel as my bodyguard and I freed you at Wrestlemania to be on your own, but you'd thought it was a better idea to cost me a chance at the title? And what's worse, getting a shot at the title before me? Before me! Are you kidding me Diesel! First you gave Bret "the Hitman" Hart a concussion and thereafter cost Shawn Michaels a chance for the WWF Championship. Diesel: Bret Hart deserved it. He got lucky in that match and if he faced me again he'd face my wrath. As for you Shawn Michaels, I didn't mean it, I didn't mean to cost you the match. I just want to help you so you could win and I had no idea another referee would show up. But after hearing from you last week, well you may have brought me in sure, but who wants to be a bodyguard to a punk like you. Vince: I'm sure Shawn may want revenge for you costing him the WWF Championship. Diesel: Ha, if the small man wants revenge, well he can have it. I deserve to become the King of the Ring, I deserve to be WWF Champion. I'll be happy to take him on any time.

Vince: Speaking of title defenses, at the King of the Ring on June 19th, you'll be facing a man you have yet to defeat, a man who has taken that WWF Championship away from you before... Bret: O I know everything about the Narcissist. He has to be constantly reminded that his steel-plated forearm is illegal to use now, but that doesn't matter because at the King of the Ring...(Lex walks out) Lex: What are you going to do at the King of the Ring? You got nothing on me Bret. I beat Shawn Michaels, and I will beat you next because I've done it before. I won the WWF Championship, and I will regain what belongs to me. King of the Ring '94
PART 2 of 2Bret "the Hitman" Hart (c) vs. The Narcissist Lex Luger for the WWF World Heavyweight ChampionshipIn this rematch from last year's SummerSlam, Luger is in the ring as Bret makes his way out. Bret takes off his jacket, but before the bell could ring, Luger hits the ropes and lands the illegal forearm! The bell finally rings and now Luger completely dominates early on. Luger works on Bret who is pretty shakin' up. Gorilla Monsoon admires the excellence of execution, but now he has doubts that this one is over. Luger works on Bret with several holds, till Bret lands a low blow! Th ref warns Bret. A desperate Hitman lands several punches and gets in a suplex. Bret gets to the second rope for the elbow-knee smash combo for the pin to two. Bret wants to go for the sharpshooter, but Luger drops him fast. Luger gets Bret in a vertical suplex and keeps him up mid-air for ten seconds before dropping him. Luger goes for a powerslam, but Bret reverses by shoving him to the rope for a roll up pin to two. Luger is angry and assaults Bret. Bret fights back and gets to the tope rope, but Luger counters with the Torture Rack! Bret struggles as Luger tightens the submission hold. Bret won't submit as Luger puts on the pressure. In frustration Luger drops Bret. He continues on the assault, working on Bret's back and once again goes for the Torture Rack. Bret just won't give up and many fans are amazed by this. Luger decides to drop Bret to the outside. Luger follows him and grabs Bret, but Bret counters with a headsmash on the announce table. Bret uses the cords to choke Luger, but the referee stops him. Bret's back is hurt as he gets back in the ring. Luger makes it in at nine, till Bret hits the ropes only for Luger to get in a huge scoopslam. Luger for a third time goes for the Torture Rack lifting Bret up, but Bret reverses dropping him in a bulldog-fashion. Bret drags himself to a corner. Luger starts to get back up till Bret hits the ropes for leaping clothesline. Luger is down as Bret goes for the sharpshooter and Luger struggles to hang on. Luger makes it to the rope, but Bret drags him back to the middle. Luger can't hold on anymore and finally taps out! Winner: Bret "the Hitman" Hart via submission to retain the WWF World Heavyweight Championship__________________________________________ KOTR Finals: Tatanka (w/Chief Jay Strongbow) vs. Shawn Michaels
Tatanka has the upperhand for most of the match. Shawn sells the earlier attack from Randy Savage and his exhausting match with Diesel. Near the end of the match, Tatanka whips Shawn to the ropes lifting him up for the Samoan drop finisher for the pin to TWO! Tatanka doesn't believe it till Shawn drags himself to a corner. Tatanka argues with the referee till Shawn hits the superkick for the pin and win. Winner: Shawn Michaels via pinfall and the NEW King of the Ring. After the match, Shawn walks to the throne stage in a lot of pain and gets on the mic. Shawn: Eat your heart out ha, I've heard a whole lot of stuttering out here, a whole lot of excuses, you can hate me or like me, well of course the chicks want me ha, it doesn't matter because I did what no one thought I could do ha...tonight was my night and if Bret Hart thinks he's the face of the WWF, he can think so because I'm the face of the New Generation! I beat you Randy Savage you belong in the past, you're outta time outta touch and even after you smashed my head open you still couldn't stop me! I'm the man, whether you like it or not, I am the King of the Ring!
