That's good news. I was worried Jakks was making a play to make a comeback!! This would be the new normal if that happened. Hahaha, yeah I was looking at some of them the other day and it was crazy everyone had the same arms no matter if it was Luger or Xpac. Horrible designs

Horrible designs Seeing the reaction over Rhyno, I doubt anyone on this forum would want Mattel to do Jakks inspired figures like the Hasbro retros.

Meh, good for both sides. Mattel's have been pretty good, but i'm still hoping for something better someday.
Mattel figures run on the skinny side at times and i'm no fan of the way the torso articulation looks on elites. Furthermore, considering how detailed attire deco is, the paint apps on faces leaves a lot to be desired. I want things like eyebrows and beards molded, not molded on.
It's a shame i detest the way Figuarts look, i'd love WWE figures at that pricepoint. They just didn't look right.
I think somebody could do WWE figures at an elite price point in a superior way, Diamond Select or Neca. Hell maybe Hasbro.
I'm not someone who hates Mattels, but i find plenty to be disappointed about. I don't think heads are paints as well as Jakks did 15 years ago, that is unacceptable even with the paint deco and scale blowing Jakks out of the water. We need something more collector driven in the 30-50 dollar range imo.

Enough people already complain about the prices of figures now. If the prices were raised, it would just get more arguing by the masses.

Agreed! The more new characters the better. New, old doesn't matter.

Great news and lots of amazing figures still to be made. I do wish though that something could be done over the paint apps on figures faces. A plain thick bold black beard for someone like seth rollins is just not on. Remember how bad the goatee was on the rock e22? That was laughable. These scans can look terrible but when repainted by someone on the forum (even something as small as correct eyebrow placement) figures can go from 6/10 to 8-9/10. I'd be happy to do away with the stand and background they are putting in with elites and just go with better paint apps. Jakks had individual strands shown on eyebrows and beards back in the early 2000s. How we haven't with mattel is not acceptable

Remember all the posts about wwe wouldn't want to resign and every series is a "nail in the coffin" for wwe/mattel....

Maybe 2021 will be the year they finally catch up to sales of the Jakks Pacific UFC line. Do we still have any Jakks accountants giving us the secret sales figures?

I expect Mattel to add double joints, ankle pivots, arm pit joints and dot matrix faces with good paint.
Will they? Absolutely not because they didn't do anything like that the previous 7 years.
