I know you are right, but that bit of trivia is largely insignificant to the imagery he was trying to portray in his statement. Were you a hall monitor in middle school? I thought about it after I posted it and figured the debate surrounding the math on it would cause debate so I deleted my comment, but you were too quick! Good job! I posted a link with proof that may have aided to a possible mistake in his statement. It's not like I took a shot from the hip and was a hypocrite and called someone a hall monitor.LOL yes that's true; timing was coincidental on my part, had just gotten off the phone with a "know-it-all" so I read your comment in that vein, you still side-stepped that question  Shots fired! |

Great to see the deal has been extended, although I find it interesting that its only a short term extension?! Having said that though, I am not totally shocked seeing as how they have released tons of figures the past 8 years and by 2021 will have released a lot more so realistically (aside from current talent), how much more could they release?!
This gives them more time now to get some more legends into the line, hopefully the concussion lawsuit is settled soon and we can see figures of some of those guys (Barbarian, Demolition & Rockers re-releases), although that depends on if there will be any fall out from the lawsuit?!

Why was it only extended for 2 years? With rising manufacturing costs, it could make more sense for Mattel to go short term so they aren't locked into a contract that isn't profitable if the market continues to change. But that's pure speculation. |
