Ordered the new Elite AJ Styles from Amazon and, upon receiving it today, discovered these issues with the figure. As you can tell, the "P1" logo is smudged, and his right kickpad is missing the silver outlining on one side. These awful factory errors are the main reason I stopped collecting and won't be buying another figure for a very long time. Very disappointing.

The 3 I have opened so far all have the smudge. I think they are all like that. Even has it in ringside's loose pics.

The don't buy them. It's $20 dollar TOY. Not a $100 collectible. I'm sure Mattel will be just fine with out your money

As much as that sucks and you shouldn't have to fix anything, you can buy a silver metallic paint pen and fix up that kick pad very easily.

Contact Mattel. My E51 Mankind had his right leg separated from the top thigh piece, thankfully Mattel hooked me up with a $20 voucher.

When will you people learn that quality control isn't them manually checking every toy for small paint smudges that mean nothing, and has nothing to do with checking the toys at all?

Expecting a mass produced toy to be flawless is like expecting a Chevy Malibu to be the same quality as a Mustang. You guys are SOOOO cheap it cracks me up! To sum it up. You all expect way too much. Oh and my AJ happens to not have the paint flaws yours does. Bought my in store too.

Do you buy clothes with holes in them? I don't, and I don't want figures that look like they've been played with before I even get them out of the package

So because a figure is 20 bucks, it's too much to expect them to be done properly?
Also, it's not like this is one of the first times this has happened. It's been happening for a few years now. It's quite ridiculous considering Mattel is a top toy company.
It's not like we're asking them to cure cancer. Just make a figure without a freaking error or smudge on it. Is that really asking so much?

People around here want perfect toys, all cloth clothing, leather belts with metal plates, real skin with real blood, hell there was a guy complaining about the size of the boobs being too small at one point...and all that should cost about 3.50 a figure!!!

I'm more annoyed about the loose hand hinge joints. Half the figures I buy have limp wrists. It's very annoying and a huge pet peeve. Most older figures don't have that problem. It's more and more from the last 2-3 years.

Every Styles has that. My Styles has the designs that are supposed to come out of the P1 logo split apart from the P1 Logo so there's a huge gap on it. Doesn't bother me very much though.

Take into consideration a lot of people on these boards are teens and students who don't have a ton of pocket money. A crisp 20$ should get you a figure that doesn't have too many flaws. I'd expect a car to run if I paid good money for it! It may not have all the bells and whistles a high end car would but it shouldn't have major flaws. I honestly think you are trying to stir things up. It's kinda embarrassing really.
