Macho Man, Aj Styles and Enzo rumoured to be coming in some sort of Heritage series. The same shop that previewed series 3 posted some rough looking images of those "Wrestlemania" Retro figures. They are apparently interactive. Macho Man, Sami Zayn and Enzo. I think this might have gone under the radar for some: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/348146/wrestlemania-retro-previewDespite the nature of the images, I don't doubt these will be released soon. thank you! Ah yes..I remember NWO savages Wrestlemania matches well....

This line needs a serious shake up already, actually thought we would have had some really special figures by now, other than warrior and Cena almost everything else is so dull. Mattel need to listen to the people who will actually buy the figures, diesel is a must and should have been released already, the Hart Foundation, lod without spikes, USA luger, haku, men on a mission, a better ric flair and Rick rude. Managers like Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Mr Fuji, miss Elizabeth, Sherri ect.... So much huge potential with this line if handled correctly. Oh and the packaging also needs a big shake up, each series could be colour coded instead of the same dull blue cards

I really like the yellow/dark blue combo I've seen on a lot of custom mocs. It pops and it's not the same colors Hasbro used, but would fit the time perfectly.

Here's my HONEST thought: the guys and gals that are putting in the details of these figures probably do not follow the product and at best casually did in the past. But not enough to remember a Kane belt, or a Warrior symbol on a set of trunks...I think these people are given information to go by, or a photo and are told "we'd like these six superstars in the upcoming series"....or something like that. But it's brutally obvious folks with minds like you and me aren't running this operation. I'm very critical of this series because I want it to do very well. I've said this before. I don't like when they obviously could've put out a superior product. There's some petition on Twitter right now to retweet for a reboot on Golberg. Prolly fruitless with October right around the corner but one click takes a split second and it never hurts. I'll look for the link... I don't even want to think about it lol. It would be nothing short of a dream if I could get paid to work on creating ideas for this line alone.

That AJ looks great. I'll be picking up Rollins & Ambrose as well.

Dear Mattel,
The last new WWE figure I purchased was in 1993. After a 24 year layoff I purchased the entire retro series 1. As I’ve waited for series 2, I caught the bug a little bit and purchased 12 Elite Flashback figures. Your plan with the retro line worked. You brought back an older customer. Granted I’ve only spent $230, but how many of “me” are there out there? I would bet a LOT.
As a new collector, I certainly don’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to demands and complaints. As a 40 year old marketing exec, I would just say that your company is misfiring with your execution of this line.

While I may criticize the line, I will still buy each and everyone but i know if they don’t get their act together, the line will be short lived and my flash back into childhood will be over.

Hasbro has always been my favorite line. I'm super happy that we have a retro series. I have bought all of series 1 and 2 and I will continue as more come out. That being said, they have done a horrendous job of making these available and giving information about them. This line seems to have more interest from people than most of the others they have put out (other than elites/basics). You would have to go out of your way to mess this up so badly. And what's the deal with so many of them with black attire? Cena should've been released in two colors for each shipment, many would've bought both. And if that pic from the other thread is real, it's an insult that they'd have someone like Enzo or Sami before Zack Ryder. I'm cool with current stars being made but come on.

Exactly here, the only ever figures I loved were the Hasbros, I shruggingly continued to buy Jakks up until the late 90's and then dropped off entirely besides Hasbros on ebay. I really did have dreams (literally dreams in my sleep too) of Hasbros being made again. So this was a dream come true when it was announced. But it's been a huge disappointment so far with the execution. So much black and lack of color in the figures and the packaging. Especially S3 and S4 if those are accurate at all. With all the current guys having such drab attires at least guys like Sting and Macho have so many bright color options, and they go with black? Ugh, and lack of some details on the figs and accessories. At very least Crow Sting should have a bat. And that Gillberg is an abomination.

I feel the next releases are crucial now in this line. A few more of the Hasbro era guys, accessories and/or a ring and maybe even Series specific backing card colours and we're right back on track! Forever the optimist, comes to mind...

Ric Flair might be the worst Hasbro figure ever.

On a more positive note, I just finished a Retro 2001 Sellout 3:16 Austin with red knee braces. I tried embedding the pics but I failed. I'm new here. (Front and back side of red 3:16 shirt) imgur.com/a/1Etwkimgur.com/a/1Etwk
