You know what I don't get about this discussion? Why do some people want articulation removed at the expense of others? Just because you solely display doesn't mean that others don't use the ankles. I happen to photograph my elites and pose them. The ankle articulation plays a huge role in getting good shots. I remember the ankle rockers were really loose when the line started, but bill helped correct the situation and since then the ankles have been pretty solid. I remember he explained that it was due to climate change during shipping. Basics to me are useless now, I would buy the occasional to fixup figures like the elite 51 Scott who has small arms. I feel that if the current swivel arms were more pleasing to look at they would of gotten less heat. They literally look like knock offs... If the ankles are removed from elites I'm truly done. The elite line seems fine as is imo. If anything double hinged elbows would be cool even though the aesthetic look is somewhat ugly.

do the new basic arms have swivel at the elbow? if not then they suck I like the newer arms better. I wish they would put the new arms and ankles on Elites. I don't get one Elite figure that doesn't have a loose ankle or bicep swivel, so I would prefer to just eliminate those joints all together. Plus, having the arm/shoulder be one solid piece adds to the realism. It just looks better in my opinion. The new arms really don't cause any lack of play-ability in my opinion anyway. You are just swiveling a the elbow instead of the bicep. I hate most elite arms so much i might be on board with this if it meant retiring triple h's shark fin arms and the skinny dbry/punk/bret/austin arms

I can't stand them, I tried my best to get used to it, but I despise what they've done.

New arms move more realistically and can do the same poses/moves.
It’s really a non issue, issue.

It doesn't matter at all to me I hate it for the people that it does matter to but imo I rather have this then raise the price by two or three dollars.

On the subject of arms I really hate how I can’t do X arms with my Dx elites.

Can the basic still dab? This is a deal-breaker for me. Asking the real questions.

I know they say about budget, but hey like said here before, you have to make new molds and stuff and that will cost a lot more than having the same kind of mold already made. Plus in the austin aries figure they have the elbow swivel and the bicep movement, so why didnt they just leave it like that. Now the line will totally go down the toilet.

Probably not, I’ve only been collecting again this year after many years out, but it’s still be nice. Add the ddp diamond cutter to that actually.

Either learn to accept the changes or stop buying them. Point blank. Not trying to judge but all the complaints about playability are coming from adults (I think. Cannot tell on here sometimes.). Kids probably don't notice any change or care. Bingo. Mattel's main market is kids - and I doubt that many kids have noticed the change or actually care...

The thing I dislike most is that most easy part swaps are no longer possible. If I ever bought the RSC Balor, I would've loved to have an armband he now wears on that Elite from a cheap Basic. But because the band is only on the new arms, that's out the window unless I attempt something drastic.

I bought Basic 77 Balor just to see what they were like. They do basically have the same movement just in a different spot and losing those lines does make them look more realistic. When I used to buy RA figures id super glue the ankle joints so they wouldnt move so that change doesn't bother me at all either.

Now the arms swap... At least don't botch the elite arms from now on...

What arm pose are you asking about, because I thought we answered that question for you in this thread... forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/349065/when?page=2

Oh I forgot. Ok. But what other possible arm pose does Finn do? I wouldn't call the Too Sweet a pose
