New arms move more realistically and can do the same poses/moves. It’s really a non issue, issue. No they don’t. Try moving your elbow side to side without moving your bicep... Arms rotate at the bicep/shoulder area, not the elbow. If the old arms are more accurate. Please keep your shoulder forward and spin your arm 180degrees at your bicep and post pics please

Please keep your shoulder forward and spin your arm 180degrees at your bicep and post pics please Have you taken basic anatomy classes yet? Neither arms were exactly perfect, but the old arms were closer. Your arm rotates due to your bicep, tricep and shoulder joint. Your elbow acts more as a hinge. You cant keep your upper arm completely still while trying to rotate your arm from the elbow joint or you’d end up like Eddie Guerrero from his Raw debut. Something I haven’t seen mentioned yet is also the stress on the upper arms that the new elbow joints are creating. There is a video on YouTube from “Tommy’s Toy Travels” that shows how when rotating the new Roman Reigns arm, it is causing stress in the plastic and leaving warp marks. Mattel did a terrible job designing these.

The majority of us seem to be against the move. Maybe people power can work?

just some pics of what you CAN'T do anymore and ones that'll look like poop with the new articulation for basics: and Little Billy doesn't have $20 (give or take) to buy something that should be a given (especially when JAKKs haven't pulled this kind of crap before, sure they half-arsed on paintjobs, but they never outright moved production of articulation less)

Neither are correct, but the new ones look more realistic.

And people are going to wonder why Bill goes underground again. Usually id agree, but this one even puzzles me. People acting like these new arms are so great, show me the cut between your forearm and elbow. Show me how you can rotate you forearm around 360 degrees. This just looks so cheap

This just looks so cheap To be fair, you can't rotate the point between your shoulder and bicep 360 degrees, neither. Nor you can move your leg back to the point where your foot touches your head. Toys aren't meant to replicate human movement. If they did, people would just complain even more about the lack of articulation.

My argument was more just that they are saying its now more realistic as if it somehow functions like a human body now.

Maybe pictures will help... goo.gl/images/rBVEBNYoull never be able to get this pose out of the new basics, while you could out of the old ones.

Yeah, can't stand them either. For example, I'm sure we'll get a Heath Slater basic with proper wrist tape, but now that you can't arm swap between basics and elites, it's entirely pointless for me to buy that basic to fix up my Elite. Pointless to buy any basic now for that matter. Their plan was to save money, but I predict that they'll lose a lot more in the decline in sales from these new basics.
