What do you think this guy needs to do because he is drowning fast now. I don't think quitting and going somewhere else is going to help him because something tells me after McIntyre, the WWE is going to put a stop to hiring people back who improved their name somewhere else — That's why I think Dolph hasn't left and I actually think Cody has peaked (by riding the Bullet Club's coattails) and would still be a mid-carder if he comes back. In my opinion Zack Ryder needs to evolve, not change, his character. Changing the character rarely helps someone in the long run. I think Ryder needs to identify his weaknesses: His promos — They just sound corny and non-believable. Mojo smoked him bad recently in their Twitter promos. He needs to speak less and stop overdoing it when he does. His lack of impressive moves — Lot's of people have unique moves that people get impressed by. Ryder needs to add one or two moves because that flip to the outside doesn't really impress many these days. His child-like character — Stop posting about action figures and Disneyland already! Who's going to treat you like a draw that way? And even though the beard is a 10/10, buzz that little kid haircut. The dude has the physique of a monster, yet presents himself exactly the opposite. I feel bad for the guy, but he hasn't done himself any favors lately. "Stop posting about action figures" *writes this on a forum dedicated to action figures* If I was a part of his industry, I wouldn't be posting here.

And I don't think anyone else believes his depressing tweets are playing to his character — there is no underdog role anymore. That's been gone for years. He get's called a veteran more than an underdog. The Kayfabe is strong in this one Lord Palpatine. Ryder is making over six figures I'm sure, has a body most guys envy, is with some of the most beautiful women in the world - and if that doesn't appeal to you, as a fellow collector he has a Hasbro collection most can only dream about. He's got 6" action figures of himself. He got his own WrestleMania moment and posed with one of his heroes Razor Ramon afterwards. The dude is a solid hand for the company. Do you really believe that his depressing tweets are real? Really? Really? If he hated his character so much he'd choose to leave like Cody Rhodes did over "Stardust"; something tells me Zack is just fine. This alone tells me you don't necessarily know how a professional life works. I wouldn't blame him for leaving, but I don't blame him for staying either. The only way I'll believe his depressing tweets are kayfabe is if there is a payoff in the end. It's been years of this and there hasn't been any substantial payoff that justifies the "Look at me, I keep losing" tweets. It's fine that he collects figures, loves Disney, has the hot chicks, etc. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'd just be smarter about how I present myself in the public eye because none of those things make me a bigger Zack Ryder fan. And ultimately, even with the six figures and the perks of fame, I feel that his love is wrestling and his biggest priority would be to make it to the top.

I think he needs to be teamed with two female Superstars and acts like an assistant more so than a manager to them, maybe it the IconiDuo seems kinda weird so it would work asap.

Not even a smark. Dude, I'm not trolling! Just because Cody left doesn't mean everyone else should leave too! And what is so hard to believe about wanting to be at the top of your profession? Also I realized that wether the twitter account is kayfabe or not, my point still stands — his whole twitter theme is not helping him advance in any bit. Mark/Smark... You're talking to someone who enjoys WWE for what it is but also knows what it universally means to be a professional — you're over here saying if he's upset he should leave just like Cody left.

Trade him, Hawkins and Aliyah to Impact for DemonXBunny and Trevor Lee.
Or just get rid of him outright and sign Laurel instead.

I’m a big fan of Ryder, but his singles career needs to be set aside. Pair him back up with Hawkins and buld the tag team division back up. I think his toy addiction needs to be exploited by WWE. Bring back those fun Hasbro style commercials and let him headline those. He has passion for the plastic, and charisma galore, so he would crush the over the top 90’s style commercials.

I’m not sure what the answer is at this point to doing anything more with him... He’s a veteran, he’s got something of a fan base, and he’s a really good, established guy to put in with new talent. He’s had his WrestleMania moment and so many toys and stuff made of him. He’s pretty much guaranteed to be a non-headlining Hall of Famer one day as long as he doesn’t fall out with the company. They took a shot on featuring him in 2011 and his performances let him down. He’s never really recovered from that in terms of opportunities.
To some extent, he’s fine where he is now. I’m not sure what would ever elevate him again - even a heel turn or a faction, I feel like they’d have him jobbing within six weeks. Committing to him like they did Jinder would be a thing, but if they were gonna do that with someone this year, I’m not sure why they’d choose Zack over someone else.
