Wow! Just seeing this. Ryan and Cardona have similar piss poor attitudes when asked to justify something. Did you notice majorpod was posting other photos of the microbrawlers that pwt was not. That shows this was a coordinated effort. Just bc they have charities doesn’t mean they have business ethics. There's a lot of overlap between the Brawler and MWF " base." And it seems like a lot of folks in that category seem to fit a pretty narrow profile and are really easily swayed by whatever they're told is "cool" or "valuable." Its a cult...Lets just call it what it is

Well, I was wrong. Ryan posted sales on the USA Macho. It did the worst and sold more than 500, which was a success. Seems like he’s going to post the sales for the others. Maybe Vader just did poorly and he’s willing to post these since they did well?

So, looking at everything, I think I get the idea of the pricing gimmick. They’ve essentially manufactured levels of rarity. The best known and most colorful attires (pink and green) were cheapest and likely sold the most, followed by the orange and Mega-Powers which while still well-known maybe weren’t as desirable, were on sale earlier in the day, and were more expensive so probably sold slightly less, then the black and white and USA were both fantasy attires and most expensive, therefore likely sold the least, and in-turn will have the least produced. It was essentially a way to make common, uncommon, and rare tiers of figures while still technically producing as many were ordered within the respective two-hour windows. I wouldn’t assume any of that. They want you to though. I submit they ordered the same amount of each. Whether people preordered more of one that the other will not be made public. Extra ones produced that weren’t preordered will reappear after the secondary market spills its dirty little secret. Maybe. But either way would be trying to manufacture levels of commonality vs rarity.

I was a little disappointed the window was so small as it was evening and night here in the uk.
In the USA people would’ve been at work etc and lost the chance to purchase too
7 figures over a week with a 24 hour window would’ve given more chance

584 for the USA version, which was the lowest of the 6. Orange sold the most, but Ryan didn't give specific numbers beyond the USA.

Just like when Mattel, Jazwares, or other company sends us pics. If that means a coordinated effort, then yes lol. I personally think this was a fantastic business move and fun. I bought two of each. 4 of the Green. HOWEVER, I totally see the other side. I see why people are upset. There is no way to make everyone happy and we all won’t agree with each other about everything. I think that’s fine. I think we all need to do a better job of respecting other people’s opinions. At the end of the day, we all have collecting in common. The wrestling figure community is bigger than ever before. We should all be proud of that and all stick together.

I laugh at people still trying to use the term "community"....Communities help each other out, this has turned into a shill business. I hope that prices of wrestling figures across the board fall to that of loose BCAs so people who just collect as an investment and have driven this hobby through the roof get stuck with all the money they've spent.

It's all gone to hell, ya. Its funny watching ppl jump on the hype train. I wouldn't pay 40 bucks for a green card loose in the dial up days and i still wouldn't do it now.

At the end of the day, we all have collecting in common. The wrestling figure community is bigger than ever before. We should all be proud of that and all stick together. If Target or Walmart sold 6 different exclusive figures in a single day and collectors had to pay six separate shipping charges, every single one of us would be complaining about it. The difference is that nobody from Target or Walmart would show up in the discussion, but PWTees is a smaller company where collectors have a direct line to the guy at the top. Complaining always has been and always will be part of collecting, for better or worse. You can't blame Ryan for taking it personally when people get upset, and you can't blame him for trying a different strategy this time either. Personally I'd rather pay six different shipping charges and get every Micro Brawler, rather than miss out on every single one because the numbers were too limited. And on top of all that, this strategy worked. USA Macho had the lowest sales at 584, meaning PWTees sold a minimum of 3500 Micro Brawlers in a 12-hour span (and the actual number is probably much higher than 3500). And this was a made-to-order situation so that's no inventory clogging up space in the PWTees warehouse either. For every person who complained about shipping, several more people were ordering and keeping their mouths shut about it.

Ryder distancing himself haha. Don't blame ya Not distancing myself from anything. I think the multiple Macho idea was awesome. It wasn’t my idea though. Nike just did something similar I believe. I had fun all day waiting to see what would pop up next. I paid the multiple shipping charges just anybody else. I totally understand why people didn’t like it. We could all think of other ways that we personally think would have been better. Unfortunately, no matter what, there is no way to please anybody.

I respect your opinion but I disagree with you. This is our hobby but it is a business. A toy business. I love it. I’m sure you love it. We all love it...we are writing on a message board about wrestling figures. I have plenty of people I help out. And I have plenty of people who help me out. Some of those people I met on these very boards over the past decade plus I’ve been on here. There are no rules to collecting. That is the beauty of it. Everyone can collect what they want and how they want. Nobody’s collection is “better” than somebody else’s. Everyone’s is unique and that’s what’s so fascinating. I’m very proud that some of my collection can be considered an investment. I’m also equally proud of the parts of my collection that are practically worthless...like the BCAs you talk about. There should be no judgement...either way.

I don't agree with VintageFigs1 on a lot, but he's totally right here. If people want to purchase these, that is their choice. No one made them do it. And if they decide to purchase them just because they love Major WF Pod, and want to be part of what Brian and Matt have built, that's also their choice. It's def. not how I would spend my money -- but they obviously chose to

Broski, you guys are responsible for this false inflation of figs, making longtime collectors tap out early because we cannot afford a $200 CS we may have missed in 2007.
When Micros are selling in triple digis when the cost on those cannot possibly be more than $2, it's highway rape my brother. PWT will never get a dime of my business.
I have a handful of brawlers and shirts I will proudly pay a few dollars more on the secondary so it doesn't go in your coffers. You are basterdizing a hobby we all love, leaving some of us to throw our hands up.
Your collection and information is amazing, but your Boiler Room acumen of economics is putting a few sheckles in your pocket, bravo. All the while killing the very thing we all love, ala '02 NWO...

These Brawlers are fun... they are fun at $5 and fun at $50. Also you don’t have to own everything instantly. Im still finishing my LJN collection and they have almost been out 40 years. Buy what you can afford now and circle back later. They will still be on eBay 6 months from now and 6 years from now. I have seen Taz go for $250 loose and one sold in the bag for $90 the other day. I got my Taz in a lot for about $20. Just hunt and enjoy the process. As for all the MWFP hate, I have a feeling everyone is going to be crying when that Crate comes out because it is going to have some sick brawlers in there.

From my perspective as a Micro Brawlers outsider looking in, this is whole thing is madness.
