I've never had any interest in the brawlers but I really wanted a the pink and black Owen. Wished I had been able to get one.

Trying to decide on the March crate, does anybody know who the brawler is for this month? No leak yet as far as I'm aware. If I were to guess, Repo Man or Malenko are most likely, with Punk/MJF being remote possibilities. Again this is 100% a guess, just looking at the usual MO of who tends to get Brawlers.

Punk and MJF also already have Crate Brawlers. They really seem to avoid repeats in the Crate. The only issue with Repo is I have zero idea what they could do for the chase. I think he basically always wore the same gear. But agreed that he or Malenko seem like the most likely.

If I knew for sure the brawler would be Repo I would 100% buy it. 42 seems like a lot on a gamble.

True on the repeats, but was thinking an AEW MJF in the crate could be a further way of pushing the AEW Brawlers partnership. As for Punk, that one is admittedly wishful thinking on my part, as at this point I think a Brawler is the only outside shot there is at ever eating a basketball shorts Indies/early ROH Punk. Agreed with Malenko being most likely, hopefully with pink being the regular. I believe earlier in this thread there was some discussion about Repo. I actually thought he had a black singlet variant. Apparently he didn't, but there were enough variations in his tire tied colors that a chase seemed doable.

Nash looks cool sorry I missed the order. Love that it has the specific language of being numbered 1/350. These brawlers are topping anything in the market right now.
Ask yourself why the Nash would be individually numbered out of 350, but the chases that are randomly included in 250 crates have a chase sticker.

Another question about this release...
The only place I saw it announced was on a certain podcast’s Instagram page, even the PWTs marketing email from today doesn’t mention the shock drop. PWTs Twitter, Instagram, etc have no info about the Nash.
Why would PWTs not want to announce this or inform previous brawler buyers about the drop?

This actually doesn’t. I think there are doing a lot of research and data gathering on what’s the best way to market, announce, sell, etc the microbrawlers. MajorPod are influencers and are being utilized like any company would love to have a Kardashian announce their products. I think it’s fun and is keeping us on our toes. Even if PWT comes up with the perfect formula to sell for maximum profits and costumer satisfaction I don’t think they’d do it every time. That could actually be the formula! My problem with the MachMan situation was the shipping program. I expect more unannounced releases limited to certain platforms. 350 sold to MajorMarks compared to 350 sold to PWT Instagram and Twitter followers makes no difference to PWT. I love the variety of the Brawlers and the speed which they are coming out. The prices are high but we only have ourselves to blame for that.

I actually feel compelled to chip in here. I completely disagree that influencers should play a role with collectibles sales. Anyone looking at this situation can see this is a very well thought out marketing strategy, that all involved gain a financial benefit from once product is sold. The market for Micro Brawler product has been blown up for people to feel these are must have items, for what they cost to produce and what they are asking for is easily one of the highest profit margins I have ever seen. Can I see these retaining value, no, not at all. In a years time a lot of people will question why they spent their income on such product. My issue is actually of collectors being taken advantage of and having there passions being exploited for financial gain, it’s wrong and extremely immoral. But again just my opinion, people continue to buy into it, so it’s a double edged sword, I feel so sorry for the collectors being exploited by influencers and PWT but those same people continue to buy into it, and in doing so ensure such practice will continue going forward.

Price gouging hand sanitizer on Amazon during a pandemic is exploiting and immoral. Trying to make money off popular figs is business. Companies are allowed to make money. Influencers are here to stay, social media is a powerful tool, use it to your advantage too!

But using the "social media influncers" as the ONLY way to know about certain products, when many people dont use the platform, is lessening how far the business can reach. If you want to limit them on your site and the public knows they are limited, that is one thing. But to only let 1 person be the source for selling something is bad.

I think they are trying all sorts of different ways to market. I don’t think they will do it every time. You could also look at it as PWT helping MajorPod to grow and not the other way around. Collectors need to be well rounded and versed in all the different platforms and ways figs could be dropped. Scalpers are! Don’t give them that advantage bc you don’t have Instagram or don’t want to follow MajorPod.

Guys, we reported it on our social media once it was online. We had no inside knowledge of this drop. Check the time. I honestly don’t know if we posted it 1 minute or 1 hour after it was released. A fellow collector/fan sent me the link. I went and bought it and told our social media guy to post it. Our job is to report the news. The Nash up...so we posted it. Hopefully it gave some people the heads up to buy it for themselves.

If that was the case it would be like Walmart working in partnership with scalpers to raise price and value in desired items, with your example the above is the only way to give your example context. I am also tired of “this is the toy business, not the friendship business” this is where the actions of all is immoral. This product has been quoted and evidenced to cost $2 to produce, they would be in the profit at $5 price point. It’s is a collaborative effort of exploitation of a person’s passion for profit. Companies are allowed to make money absolutely, influencers are trends that pass especially with a niche focus, social media is a power tool that can be used for good and bad sadly, and should be used to a person’s advantage, not to take advantage.

I get where you’re going however Figs aren’t a necessity like food or toiletries. There could be business ethics concerns in the toy world but morality isn’t in play with microbrawlers. The Nash brawler is sweet! I’m glad we are getting a ton more than just looking for the one crate a month one.
