I didn't want to muddle up the Zmey profile page anymore, but the conversation between Kyzer and theicwguy over Tugarin's entrance theme reminded me just how ungodly obsessed I was with Slipknot some 15-16 years ago. My first e-fed character over in the AFRWF used ST/Iowa-era Corey Taylor as a pic base, and I'm sure I used some song or another of theirs as an entrance for him, but that's a detail long lost to the sands of time. Anyway, I threw on my Slipknot collection this morning for a minute or so trying to find my own contribution to the subject at hand of a viable Slipknot song that Tugarin could have used, and my only takeaway was that short of those fleeting moments where I slip backward into a bit of adolescent rage (where I'm much more likely to throw on some sort of Rob Lind offering these days than anything else), I guess I'm sort of long past my Slipknot phase. I dug the last album and all, but to be fair, I also haven't put it on since it came out, either. Time's a b*tch, kids. I honestly have never cared too much for Slipknot. That is probably why I never found anything that I liked that I wanted to use for Zmey. My preferences in music have gotten much more narrow as I get older. I used to try and listen to everything and pretty much enjoy everything, not so much now.

During my whole Slipknot obsessed age, I'd actively shut out most anything that didn't fit that sort of mold, and that held true even as I got older for a bit and kinda graduated into punk rock and all that. Somewhere along the way I lost a personal filter or just stopped caring about some fanaticized sense of credibility to what I listen to. If I digs it, I listens. That leads to really weird shuffle sessions, but it always keeps my passengers on their toes.

Hey Deep Figure Value, I thought you'd like to know. Penguin Books is holding a contest to give away a collection of 100 books everyone should read. Your favorite book The Outsiders made the list. My favorite book Dune also made the list.

Now I stick to like the same four Pandora stations and that is about it.

I've never really used it, at least in the last five years since I quit my job at the library where I could have headphones in. I'm driving from Pittsburgh to Brooklyn with a buddy at the end of the month and we have similar music tastes, but I'm not good with setting that crap up, nor do I know how good it is on data.

No clue what it uses in data since I have an unlimited plan. All you do is pick a band or song then it will play whatever it deems similar to the initial song. Then just thumbs up what songs you like and it builds from there.

You create a station of either a certain band/artist and the station will play similar sounding music. Ex - if your create a station of Rage Against the Machine, you'll get political, funk, metal-type music. Before going with Premium, I would use it all the time at work and had no problems with it on data.

If I may add to the initial conversation, I personally would've have gone with the song 'Iowa'. Sure, it's a 15 minute song BUT it's slow, dark and brooding and if you believe the story of how that song was recorded, disturbing - I think it fits Zmey perfectly.

I can get that I guess. I didn't really want a metalish song for Zmey. I think the techno electronic sound of the song fits what I picture in my head for his entrance. The lyrics of the song I picked are definitely dark.

Frank Lynn's entrance music is 44 f'n minutes long! 15 minutes is nothing.

Kinda like Bagan's theme from Super Godzilla.

Sometimes, I randomly decide to go to Smackdown the morning of the show when I stumble across decent seats for $25.

I have never been to a WWE ppv but every other show from them I have gone to has been a disappointment. I probably wouldn't think that if I only spent $25 dollars on tickets though. I am definitely getting tickets to go see MLW in Ft. Lauderdale since they are bringing back Wargames.
