So I got my order from RSC and usually if I order any Basics, I tend to order 2 so that I can hopefully receive one with carding in good to great condition. I know it's not RSC's fault if it gets bent in the shipping process. This time, I received both Alexa Bliss basics in pristine condition. How? Well with my Order I ordered 6 figure defenders for the current elites. Now, I cannot recall if I asked them to do this, but they placed the Bliss figures in two of the 6 figure defenders. I checked the website and don't see an optino to select it. They might have done it to save space, but it really worked well. Point of post: If you're a MOC collector and always worry about basics being ordered from RSC, ask them to place the figures in the current Elite Figure Defender. They fit perfectly in there. Will definitely protect them in shipping. I now don't have to always order 2 basics. It'll save me about $5 an order from this point forward. Thanks RSC

This would help with shipping, but this doesn’t insure that you don’t get an already bent carded figure. You’d be better off or an addition to, getting their PPS for $2 per figure. This helps get you the best as possible carded figure, plus actual packing material.

While I may still get a Defender Case for a Basic, I also get PPS for this very reason, and RSC will put it in the Defender Case without asking to do it if it will fit in one you order with it.

I assumed this was standard procedure if you order a defender case and a figure

I've only ever had one problem with Ringside, Tugboat was clearly cut open at the top and put back in so they sent me a new one. They insisted it hadn't been opened, but it definitely had. I can see how the basics could get messed up.

I assumed this was standard procedure if you order a defender case and a figure It might be now that the basics fit the defender. But it was not always the case. Most of my basics were floating next to the cases. My point was, RSC does not give you the option to buy a figure defender with the current basics. If you order the current figure defender and a basic, RSC will either always put it together, or you might need to ask them for it. So you have to do 1 or 2 more steps to get it done. It's not like the elites that have that option when you go to add it in the cart.

Yes, they do it to save space in the box. They've done this several times when I've ordered defender cases & basic figs.

That is good that they do that with the basics also. Im really not feeling the new defender cases. I ordered a set and they all came teared on the sides and they dont close together well at all I had to put a small piece of tape to hold the case closed together

Yes it would be great if figure defenders would be made for basics and also older elites.
