Simple. Do you believe Lashley deserves his position after his return and do you see him improving in his current run?
For me he never really started to get the proper character development until right before he left WWE, same with Batista. For Batista he was always second to John Cena and was basically the John Cena of Smackdown as far as popularity and standings went but before he left when he was doing his heel work WITH Cena he began to really shine and come into his own character that wasn't JUST another big guy who was strong and could pummel opponents, he began to have depth.
As for Lashley a lot of people liked him better as US Champion on Smackdown as opposed to ECW Champ and contender for the WWE title but for me personally, I thoroughly enjoyed his feud with Big Show on ECW and his rise towards WWE Championship contention. Right now I believe he is still feeling things out, he will probably always come off as corny and not very stern to some extent just because that's who he is (which is strange since he's an ex military member) but I truly believe he will continue to grow and become better on the Mic and in the ring like he was before he left. I think his return has been pretty well received so far.
I'd really like to see him use a more devastating finisher like the Dominator as opposed to a suplex but I can deal.

"Deserve" is such a relative term. Is he highly marketable and posses all the tools to be a main guy? Absolutely, without question. Is it maybe too much, too quickly? Perhaps, but it's at least something fresh with the potential for a new fantasy matchup. I do think Lashley makes a MUCH better cocky heel than a smiling face, but so does Bobby Roode and they refuse to see that.

Lashley doesn’t really have a position in my opinion. He beat Reigns at Extreme Rules and probably should be the rightful #1 contender. Instead he’s still gotta jump through hoops and still may not be the #1 contender after next week. Sounds to me like a guy that doesn’t have solid footing.

Yes. He left as a guy bursting with main event talent, got significantly better when he went away, and I see no reason not to let him finish what he started now that he's back. My one complaint is that he should absolutely be a heel because he's super vanilla (for a lack of a better term) as a babyface. I think anyone who watched him in TNA can agree that the height of his ability was as a heel champion. Vince has always seen him as this exact babyface, though. He's got an incredible look and he's an insane athlete. I wish he was a better overall talker (he's much better as a heel) but the guy was largely born with it all. I'll take him over Reigns all day long but that's neither here nor there outside of the fact that they're feuding. And Lashley does a significantly better spear imo.

No. The WWE does not need him. He's basically a full time Leaner and that's the last thing the company needs.
I feel sorry for all the Raw guys who will job to him. Give me Reigns any day of the week he is better in the ring and mic than Lashley will ever be.

I couldn't stand Lashley during his first run and was ecstatic when he left.
I know he's improved greatly. I have no problem with him being back in the company. Have I been particularly impressed with anything he's done since his return, though? No. Not at all.

I voted for the Strowman thing. I never liked Lashley but im coming around to him, probably cause he beat Reigns, will be interesting to see who he faces after Reigns and see where I stand then. At the end of it all though, I'm watching to see Strowman destroy everything.

I'm hoping for a Lesnar/Lashley match because I bet there is some shoot fighting included since these two have strong MMA ties. They probably won't ever meet in the octagon so why not bring some of that to the wrestling ring? It could make for something fresh in a Lesnar match.

I think he got pushed a little to quickly and needed to be more familiarized with the current audience.

Look at him. Does he look like a main eventer?
Yup.

Look at him. Does he look like a main eventer? Yup. He's good when he's allowed to be "walking armageddon" Lashley; not so much when he's being "Bob" who has three really ugly sisters and likes to run obstacle courses.

Yes, that whole feud was ill advised. It did nothing for either guy. Bobby didn't look impressive throwing around a guy half his size. And Sami looked like an idiot more often than not.

I'll take Lashley over Reigns any day. It's stupid he has to face Reigns again in kayfabe though.
I think Lashley had a underwhelming if not completely terrible start, but if they let the guy do the moves he was known for using more (and not use the damn Stalling Suplex as a FINISH) he'll be alright. He also sounded alright on RAW Talk after ER; No Ric Flair or anything but he sounded realistic and like a confident athlete would sound in an interview as opposed to obsessing about his sisters and smiling like a creep.

Lashley has no personality, boring entrance, the spear should not be used for him as a finisher...ever...does he still use th dominator? his attire is boring......The WWE keep teasing him as the guy but they arnt going to pull the trigger....I guarantee Summerslam will be a triple threat
His back story is legit and he has the tools. Give him a badass entrance, a finisher (give him the jackhammer) and give him shamrocks gimmick with a mix of ECW Kurt Angle's edge
Also he should be facing Cena at Summerslam to get his win back.

Yeah I would agree he is pretty boring. Not sure how Roman is hated so much but we are suppose to like Lashley? strange.

I really hope WWE makes the match at SummerSlam a triple threat. Bobby Lashley deserves to be in the Title match. If Bobby Lashley ISN'T in the title match, I don't even see what he could do.
If he loses to Roman on RAW, are we just going to ignore that Lashley beat him at Extreme Rules and he gets nothing for it?
If WWE had guts they would actually have Brock show up on RAW and attack both Reigns and Lashley so the match ends in a no contest so Kurt comes out and says "you screwed up Brock. Instead of fighting Roman Reigns OR Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam...now, you're going to fight them BOTH in a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH!".
And if WWE really wanted to do something awesome, as soon as Kurt makes that announcement, have Braun come out and cash in and say "IT'S A FATAL FOUR WAY NOW, I'M CASHING IN TO GET INTO THAT MATCH AND EVERYONE IS GONNA GET THESE HANDS".
If SummerSlam is just Roman vs Brock 1 on 1 for the title for the 4th time.....people are going to be pissed. And like I said, Lashley deserves it and so does Braun.
What matches could Lashley and Braun even be in if they aren't in the title match?

But I don't think the title is going anywhere until Lesnar's UFC title match.

They need to get the belt off Brock ASAP because even though I don't think he's going to win the UFC title....but on the off chance he DOES; we might not see the Universal Title for another YEAR! Brock would not risk injury by having WWE matches while UFC champ. In UFC he's probably not having more than 2 fights in a year... They'd actually have to strip him of the belt or RAW would have no purpose.
