Just curious....if you were a pitcher would you want to be known as the guy that gave up the record HR?? I mean honestly if i was Maddox, Clemens or Johson no i wouldnt cause im goin down as an all time great. But if im some guy like John Jingleheimer who nobody is gonna remember next week. Why not make yourself famous and serve up the old hangin slider for Bonds??? Opinions?

If you're a major league pitcher who actually wants to be known as the guy who gave up 755 or 756 to Bonds, you should just quit the game altogether. Whether you're facing Alex Rodriguez, Barry Bonds, or Tony Womack it's still your job to use your stuff to get the guy out. If you just want to have your name known in the record books, you're playing baseball for all the wrong reasons.
I just can't wait until all this crap is over with. Go ahead and hit 756 Barry...then you can ride off into the sunset and we'll never have to watch ESPN giving him head on a nightly basis. It's gotten so bad to the point where they actually interrupt their programs with a bar on the bottom of the screen tracking Bonds' at-bats.
It'll all be a moot point because A-Rod and Pujols will likely break the record anyway.

Also, according to ESPN Bonds' 755 HR ball will be worth between $50 - $75,000 and 756 will be worth $400 - $500,000.
If I caught the ball, I'd sell it since I don't even give a crapabout the "historic" value of it.

Yea I'm dat cracka who posed as a ***** and still gets E-heat over it but man.... at the time, I had people rolling. I know WOJC was amused until he found it out it was me and Ralpho laughed some.
Sure I catch heat for bein a *****, but it was all worth it. The Milton Bradley and Charlie Hayes sigs should have gave it away.
But I've been on here for years foo.
I don't have any bad feelings for anybody here, I like the Sports hub a lot, just don't post or read as often as I'd like because I am not around.

Frankly I'm quite disappointed that nobody has commented on my brilliant screen capture of Mr. Perfect laughing at the thought of exposing TRW's old lady at Turner Field.

BTW just to make this a triple post because Ralpho hates them and I think he tolerates me now....
I like long walks at Walmart through their frozen food chicken section, Paul O'Neill is my favorite player of all time and Albert Belle > Hanna Storm.
Who is your favorite player of all time?

I forgot to mention this... I went to the Cubs/Mets game Friday, and El Duque threw a ing EEPHUS pitch to Cliff Floyd. I know he's been known to throw one from time to time, but he hasn't thrown one of those in AGES to my knowledge... Just out of nowhere, he uncorks a 40 mph floater right down the plate. And Cliff Floyd is baffled as it's called a strike. Thought some of you might find that funny.

El Duque when he was in his prime was one of my favorites as well.
He threw the Eepheus a few times this year but you are right it's not often. I don't think he's thrown it since coming back from his latest injury.
