Thanks for playing White Sox The Red Sox will have to face Mark Buerle and Javier Vazquez coming up, who are tough while the Tigers are pathetic.

Wow, Major League Baseball is a total joke. A four hour rain delay?! How the hell do they expect people to sit in the crowd all that time? This game is going to be over at 2 AM at the absolute EARLIEST.
Why wouldn't they have just done a day/ night double header tomorrow?

Are there even any fans left in the stadium?
LOL @ Eric Gagne doing garbage duty.

great job today not only by the red sox offense but their pitching staff, 4 runs allowed total in the double header, and the bullpen going a combined 6.1 IP scoreless.

Red Sox still got Wakefield to go and Tavarez > Lester, so if we dont take 3/4 I'll be greatly disappointed

E4 on Polanco in the first inning...that breaks the streak of 147 errorless games.
I think he's a pansy, though, and didn't deserve the record, personally.

Why is he a pansy?

He's a pansy because he's never started more than 147 games in a season. He played only 110 games last year and so far 108 this year.
Does it count in the record books? Sure...he's an outstanding defensive second baseman, but the guy also sat out for nearly a week with the flu.

well you can't blame the man for getting the flu.

Roger Clemens didnt show up the ball park for like 2 years unless he pitched, Giambi now is a giant vagina, Mike Mussina had vagina blisters for years...no team is really allowed to throw stones. It'd be like JD Drew calling Polanco a puss

No, you can't...but sitting out 5 days or whatever it was? Players grind through real injuries and illnesses all the time. It was supposedly the same virus his other teammates caught and they were all fine after, like, 2 days off.
