What’s your favourite old shop? I mean out all the ones that are no longer here. Virgin megastore, our price, Woolworths toys r us etc. An old shop I miss is jolly giants. The world of retail is not the same.

Yea, I miss Jolly Giant, but Smyths is a good replacement. Woolworths was good, it was a ‘go to’ shop as it had a bit of everything and was always located well.

Has to be Woolworths for me. Lived 30 seconds from one so was always handy when new WWF/E VHS/DVD’s would come in stock, same with figures.
MVC is another, always had shelves stacked with stuff from WWF, WCW & ECW.

Game Station for me, that was when gaming was cool bavk when we had the PS2 and GameCube. I'm a bit young to remember Virgin although I bet it was great. Same for Woolworths, I only really, vaguely remember it towards the end of it's run.

Woolworths, just had everything. I'm starting to miss Toys R Us now since it was the only place to buy WWE Elites for me locally. I hope Smyths replaces them here

My poor parents having to fork out around £20 for a WWF VHS each month!

Loving some of the old shops. You know with MVC, if you bought a a CD with your membership card the price was say £7.99, without it, it’s £9.99 😂 I hope they do that with mortgages.
