Im beginning to think I can make a fortune selling wrestling figures in England, especially US exclusives Lol good luck, with tax, vat, buisness rent and rates, insurance, cost of importing the figures, you'd make about 5p on each figure

I’ve said it a few times about smyths now but it’s probably gonna be the end of the elite line in then stores I’m sick of wasting my time with them. If i take into consideration the petrol I waste going back an forth it’s probably cheaper for me to use wrestling shop in the end anyway

That's nothing compared the prices AUS have to pay, Elites in store here at $30 and buying them online, it's extremely rare to get one under $45-$50. Store price is cheaper then here then. 20 GBP is our Retail price. It equates to 36 AUD. US exclusives are also around 45 AUD in GBP Which is ridiculous given how much Australia often pays for overseas products, for example just look at the prices charged down under for Games Workshop products. As a rule due to import taxes, shipping etc they pay through the nose.

If any UK collectors need help with Elites...let me know. I've been helping out for over a year now in the Facebook groups. Derek..? [Vince McMahon "Higher Power" voice] It was me Drew, it was me all along!

Suggestion for the UK peeps, try to befriend some US Military that are stationed there. When stationed overseas they get a APO mailing address which gets you mail and other things to foreign countries, but none of the crazy expensive shipping, customs charges or VAT.

Im beginning to think I can make a fortune selling wrestling figures in England, especially US exclusives You wouldn’t. We can get hold of all of the figures already via Amazon, EBay, classifieds etc. The issue is we are all cheapskates- which is why Smyths have struggled to sell elites at full price over the last year or so. So you’d have to come up with a way where you could sell them cheap and still make a profit - and if that was possible, Smyths would be doing it.

Wasn't Smyths the store all of us Americans would drool over because they had like endless elites floor to ceiling?

I think im going to spend my weekend preparing my collection to sell. The fun is gone out of it. All these sub lines, variants, retailer exclusives. I just want a main Elite line, 6 figures per wave, £19.99 each. I do understand why its no longer like that (Elite Regal and Sid still haunt the shelves of my nearest toy shop) but it doesn't mean I have to accept it lol It'll be nice to focus the extra cash on better toylines.

Thats right, but its just the next elites they wont be stocking, they had elite 60, they are still stoking all the other latest stuff, they have basic 88 which is pretty much par with you guys and ringside, entrance greats, battle packs etc, so just elites will be missing for a while

Wasn't Smyths the store all of us Americans would drool over because they had like endless elites floor to ceiling? Yes. Turned out that having endless elites floor to ceiling wasn't the most profitable idea when the market for them didn't exist.

I live in the UK and I've just purchased an E62 Dude Love and E63 Dusty Rhodes from Ringside and with the cheaper FedEx option and 10% off code, it cost $57 in total which works out approx £44.
To be fair, buying both directly from Smyths would have cost me £40 and it's still cheaper than the wrestling shop website who charge £25 per figure and will only ship for free if the order is over £50.

I think people were saying you'll still get hit with a custom charge with ringsides cheaper option. So that £44 potentially becomes much more.

The customs charge thing seems to be very hit and miss in my experience. My last order from Ringside arrived without any customs fees
