I live in the UK and I've just purchased an E62 Dude Love and E63 Dusty Rhodes from Ringside and with the cheaper FedEx option and 10% off code, it cost $57 in total which works out approx £44. To be fair, buying both directly from Smyths would have cost me £40 and it's still cheaper than the wrestling shop website who charge £25 per figure and will only ship for free if the order is over £50. I hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure you'll be getting a Customs charge on that (20%, plus £8 handling fee)... Everyone seems to be getting a charge when they order from RSC lately.

Further BAD NEWS
Smyths Customer Care have confirmed with their buying department that Elite series 61-64 will not be stocked by them.
Next orders are from Elite 65.
Basic Series 90 will also not be available pre-Christmas.

The customs charge thing seems to be very hit and miss in my experience. My last order from Ringside arrived without any customs fees I get charged the customs fee every single time I order from RSC regardless of shipping option or size of order. I got Dude Love on his own recently thinking he would fly under the customs radar and I still got hit with the charge. Worked out much cheaper using Wrestling Shop So I bought Sting and AoP from them.

I had 1 of 2 Ringside orders delivered today, customs charge came to around £18.00. I'm not all that concerned about it though - as the order was for 3 figures.

Smyths are gonna need to do £5 elites and £1 basics to shift the amount of stock they have.

Smyths are gonna need to do £5 elites and £1 basics to shift the amount of stock they have. It amazes me why they don't just get 2 or 3 cases of each series in: less figures not sold, less price reductions, less surpless stock/figures hanging around... it's not rocket-science, lol.

I know mate. I don't know the ins and outs but maybe because they are such a big company mattel have said they must take a certain number of stock or else lose the rights to stock it? I'm not sure. It's disappointing but I've been extremely underwhelmed with the elite line for a year or so now especially with all the figures I'd buy being US exclusives. from the next 4 waves elites I think I'd be interested in buying like 5. And there's probably alot like me.

Toys R Us used to get a couple of cases but the issue is only 1-2 in the series where sellable so in the end they order a few and them figures sell but you end up with a full shelf of figures that sit and rot even on deal no one wanted them

Basic Series 90 will also not be available pre-Christmas. At least they've not stopped completely which is what I initially feared. Does anyone know why they're skipping E61 - 64? Fortunately, there was only Dude Love & Dusty Rhodes from those lineups that I actually wanted so I've not been hit too hard.

I can only assume it's so they can use the festive period to clear the backlog of stock. I just hope everyone put Alexa Bliss on their list for Santa!

This is a hideously expensive country to run a business, coupled with the fact that a lot of people are cheap and "wait for them to reduce" the figures, its not a great recipe

Strange the pics of the elite series went up and were taken down then ?
To be honest Smyth's have what 20/30 stores and shelves have gotten clogged with elite women/flashbacks of 80/90s superstars that kids don't know so their parents won't buy. Add in zombies/monsters/power slammers/rumblers/ring sets and its no wonder
IMO why not buy a reduced order with someone who knows the market, product and popularity. Now like its said above maybe they are required to buy X amount of product then its difficult. The demand is here in UK/Ireland with kids/collectors but maybe quantity per figure ordered should be looked at.
I'd imagine we will get the Wrestlemania sets but probably not until closer to WM season. In a shops perspective man there's so many new figures constantly coming out its difficult to sell huge amounts of every set
Hopefully there's some solution going forward

To be honest Smyth's have what 20/30 stores Massive under estimate, its 110, and another opened in Kent either this week or is about to open A store as big as Smyths wont be tied to a minimum amount of stock they have to buy, because 2 cases of each series for each store is still probably more than say ringside or wrestling shop order, and Smyths order more than 2 cases per store for sure, they also have their online stock, they will have to buy a set amount to be able to purchase for lower rates of course, the more they buy the better the discount

Your right about the shelves being clogged with stuff parents and collectors just aren't buying, and i can't help but think its because there is simply too much, too many different lines, are people really buying zombies, monsters, talking figures, 12" figures in high quantities? I think it needs reigning in a bit I think flashbacks need their own line, maybe Smyths online exclusives for the UK and Ireland, current superstars figures fly off the shelves in the most part

At the moment I'm seeing shelves clogged with Bezerker, Stephanie, john cena basics, tamina, natayla, miz, those figures that talk and a few tugboats floating around
