agree with some of the old schoolers, I never liked his character, I recognize his in ring talent. But this is super sad, I don't think it has ever happened like this before. it all makes sense now though, why they pushed him so hard, they were always aware, and weather they want to admit or not - this is priceless marketin. NEVER TO BE BOO'ED AGAIN #GetWellSoonRR There is zero evidence to support that this is the reason they pushed him as hard as they did. To even suggest so is highly moronic.

I saw the video where the wrestlers were wishing him well. I teared up a little. I may not have liked Roman Reigns the character, but i always respected him as a person, and I wouldn't wish leukemia to even my worst enemy. I hope he does beat this again.

Very sad to hear about this. I won't pretend to say I'm his biggest fan, but I absolutely recognize the man has talent. But that's not what this is about. I truly hope he pulls through like he did back in 2008.

With all the stuff the WWE does with pediatric and breast cancer, there is no way they would ever use cancer in a storyline.LOL. If he beats this and comes back, I'll bet cash money, it is used in storyline. Nothing is off limits in WWE.

Pretty shocked by this tbh. He looks too healthy to be diagnosed with cancer. Hopefully he can bounce back from it.

There are unbelievably people who think it's a work. I hope they are like,13 years old. Vince would lose very big if it was a work.

I really hope he is able to beat this. But he's got a long road ahead. He's going to have to go through chemo, radiation, probably bone marrow transplants....this is going to be a battle that will take years. Regardless of what happens with his wrestling career, I just want him to be able to beat this and LIVE, because from what I've read, Leukemia is typically a childhood cancer and adults tend to not fare too well with it. He's had it once already and it's back, so people need to realize the possibility that this doesn't end well.
I'm pulling for him to get healthy and be able to live a full life, and whatever happens with wrestling if he's able to comeback or whatever, that would be a bonus.

Well said With all the stuff the WWE does with pediatric and breast cancer, there is no way they would ever use cancer in a storyline.LOL. If he beats this and comes back, I'll bet cash money, it is used in storyline. Nothing is off limits in WWE. I don't think that's what he meant. I think what he meant is that there is no way WWE is using cancer to get the title off Roman in the same way as using the "lost smile" for HBK. Once he recovers, it will be a feel good story of the decade to see him get the title back. agree with some of the old schoolers, I never liked his character, I recognize his in ring talent. I could see an argument being made though that WWE was aware of his health, and wanted to make sure they got the most out of him in case the cancer came back. A strike while the iron is hot approach. Not saying I buy it, but that is a theory I could see circulating the internet and being proven true at some point down the line. But to say this was all done in order to setup a potential storyline in case his cancer comes back? Nope.

People are seriously considering this is a work?

If it is a work that is one of the worst things you can do but if it is legit and 100 percent real then Roman Reigns cannot fulfill his obligations as the face of the company. With Reigns going down the show must go on and someone else is gonna have to step into his spot as "The Guy" but who will it be?
However, Reigns I admit I hated his character and I was probably one of the biggest Roman critics. Now I hope he comes back and when he does he comes back better and stronger than ever.

Definitely never seen this coming when I watched Raw last night. Shocking news. Wishing him the absolute best. It was nice to see the entire crowd cheering him, there's no way anyone can possibly boo him now when he returns.

Don't understand people's ability to be sh-tty.

Obviously, no matter how I may feel about his on-screen character, this is real life and this is truly awful news. His career and everything else is secondary at this point; the man has a wife and young children and I really hope he's able to live life to its fullest and beat this as soon as possible. I can't ever remember seeing anything like this happen, where a guy who is essentially the face of the WWE had to step aside due to cancer treatment. Needless to say, I hope I never have to see it again, either. I'm sure the company will give him all the support and access to the best doctors in the world, which is great news.
When I first read this on Facebook last night, I was baffled and had to do a double-take. This truly came out of nowhere. I admittedly haven't followed the company closely in a while, but still stayed in the loop by whatever I see on social media. As far as I know, nobody had any idea that this news was coming.
