- Opening Survivor Series Women's match was okay, nothing special. I really didn't like how they had things happen on the Kick-Off show that affected the main show, but didn't bother to show it during the main show and just assumed everyone watched the Kick-Off. They should have at least had a short, concise replay. I was really surprised that they had Nia Jax be the sole survivor. I love how bold they went with the booking of that match, trying to capitalise on as much heat on Nia as possible. One thing that did surprise me was that Sasha got such a strong reaction, not heard that in a while. If I were booking RAW, I'd have Ronda VS Nia for the title on RAW, have Sasha cost Nia as retribution. Then have Sasha feud with Nia, Nia puts Sasha over, and Sasha starts getting built up as a star again. That's just how I'd do it, felt like doing a bit of fantasy booking there.
- Seth VS Shinsuke was a big letdown for me. I was expecting a really great match, but it felt really drawn out and dull to me. I think they missed a beat by not having Dean Ambrose involved in any way, whether that was costing Seth or just attacking Seth after the match.
- I skipped AoP VS The Bar.
- I skipped Murphy VS Mustafa Ali.
- I'm really excited for Lars Sullivan on the main roster. Might make me more inclined to keep up to date with the main roster.
- Survivor Series Men's match was solid. They made Finn look like crap though. If he was going to take out McIntyre, they could have at least had him have one elimination to look like it was worth it. Instead he just looked like a bit of prat.
- Ronda VS Charlotte was AMAZING! That was the kind of match that wouldn't have looked out of place on NXT. Charlotte's "heel" turn was about time. Really intrigued as to where Charlotte goes after this.
- I watched the first few minutes of Lesnar VS Bryan, but skipped to the end once it became painfully clear that it was a standard Lesnar squash match. Like the fans were chanting, "same old crap".
A couple of final notes:
- R-Truth was the MVP of Survivor Series. Every segment he appeared in was hilarious!
- The clean sweep for RAW was BS. Why on earth would RAW win every single match? Why wasn't SmackDown Live given a single victory? I just don't get why they booked it this way.
You skipped Ali & Murphy!!? 🤨
