They actually sell fairly decently around here, but typically it’s your standard big sellers going first.

For people that like and collect them it's fine. They are creative I'll give them that but I've never liked anything zombies personally. Once we got 'Disney's Zombies' movie I knew the whole zombie craze zombie shark had officially been jumped lol.

They are dumb to me. But they IF they make Mattel money than I can’t blame them.

Why do people get so worked up over these? They don’t effect any of the main lines. Don’t like em? Don’t buy em.

Yes, it doesn't affect the budget of Elite's or Basic's. But they do affect the main lines if it's the only WWE Mattel figures a retailer is carrying. If there's several Zombie WWE figures, the retailer probably isn't going to order more Basics(which are about the same price as Zombie's) until the Zombie's have cleared out.

I think they're cool for what they are. I'd probably buy them if I was a kid.

It's getting to the point that I see a bunch of empty pegs in the WWE section, but dozens of zombies too.

This is what happens when people say "Yeah i'd love these" but when they're made and released, wouldn't spend a cent to buy them. Saying they're mainly aimed towards kids is just the easy answer. If they were so popular with kids, they'd be flying off the shelves because every kid would ask their parents for one, parents would either say yes and get it, or say no then wait until Christmas or Birthday times and remember 'Oh yeah he wanted this", but that's not the case. I know if these were released back when i was a kid, my parents wouldn't consider getting any of these and if i saw them in stores i would never want one even if it was $1.how popular were zombies when you were a kid though? the whole fad got going when walking dead premiered on tv in 2009

They were shown at a SDCC years ago and people begged for them in enough numbers that Mattel put them into production. The irony is the one figure that started it all has never been released: Which is a shame - would have been a cool bonus addition to the collection. I actually really like the Kane zombie figure. It's the only one I've picked up. It's pretty gruesome and the mask is removable. The rest are just a fun gimmicky side line that diversifies the series and injects some fun into WWE figures. Nothing to rage about...

I used to buy Spawn figures to mix in with my BCAs back in the day - I got creative with my storylines haha. They're cool, just not for me personally.

I've been a zombie fan since the 70s when I first saw the "______ of the Dead" Romero flicks. I like the zombie figures for whether are - a pleasant diversion from the usual line. Not to say that I've been rushing out to get entire sets as soon they are released but come the black Friday RSC sale, you can be sure two or three of them will find their way into my basket.

I agree with you I wouldn't spend a dollar on these things and people say these things sell every where I go they just sit on the shelves my walmart has had the same ones forever if mattel would stop spending money on those and put that time and money into the elites and basic they might sell more figures

You are correct my friend they sit there and walmart will not order more till those are gone and it takes forever for certain walmarts to mark them down and even then they don't sell.so that's why most people don't like them and complain about I think mattel waste zlotys of money on those and bill sits there and says the defining moments line didn't sell that good but they keep this zombie line going

Not a fan. They are gross and really perverse as these are real people, not characters or actors.

Because retailers keep ordering them. Turns out the market for wrestling toys is bigger than just people who buy wrestling toys to make customs of old wrestlers. I legit laughed out loud with that last line. Savage!
