My wife and I were Christmas shopping last weekend and saw a few of these at JCPenney. I told her recently that I was thinking of getting back into collecting, and when she saw those, she was worried that this is what I'd be spending our money on. Yeah, no.

Imagine REEEEE'ing over something you won't buy My REEEEE'ing is over the fact that other lines won't get stocked until these are gone. Five Below isnt exactly the best place to be looking for Elites. They are hit and miss, but Zombies and Superstar Dolls are the type of stuff you can expect to end up there. Five Below had an ad for elites in their latest flyer They do currently have Nikki, Brie, and Charlotte Superstar Dolls in stock post-Halloween, so at least that's something. I have no need to get Nikki and Brie since I already have their Elite-Basics (Twin Magic Brie and Stay Fearless Nikki), and I haven't bought Charlotte yet mainly due to waiting for the Elite's price to go under $10 in whatever other store(s) will have her in stock. Before the Zombies, they have had 2 or 3 different lines of Elites in stock, which I think were all mentioned over in the Five Below thread. (I personally managed quite a nice get from those stocks.)

I'm a woman's collector and I never bought a Zombie version or a Mutant version of a Woman's Division wrestler. I think the Zombie Line is Stupid

Man, take away the zombie effect, and that Hogan scan is surprisingly good.

I like them. They work well for Halloween decorations.

Wrestling figures have had gimmicky spin-off lines ever since wrestling really hit the ground running in the mainstream. This generation's monster or zombie lines are the late 90s generation's S.T.O.M.P. and Maximum Sweat lines. As a 33 year old collector, am I buying in on things like this? Not even with your money. As a kid spending mom and dad's money who needed everything? I have no reason to believe kids aren't buying these.

As a kid, I collected ninja turtles and spin-offs were my jam! I loved mutating (transforming) turtles, polly pocket turtles, cyber turtles, turtles in mechs, and so on.
I can see why Mattel has experimented. However, as an adult, I think the zombie wrestlers are junk.

It's amazing these zombies all have unique tooling and it took years and years to get a Big Show with a closed fist.

Oh no, this toy company made a line of toys for kids that I, an adult, can't understand the appeal of. I literally can't even right now.

It was an example... the point being we always get figures with wrong parts cos they cheap on new tooling yet these zombies get unique tooling for every single figure. If you don't like Big Show then anorexic Kevin Owens basics can be another example.

I'm not going to crap on them, but they are not for me. For the people who like them, great. I just choose not to buy them.

I did the unthinkable and bought a Stone Cold skull head figure. I would never have paid retail, but I couldn't pass on it for only $1 at a bargain store. Being a huge Stone Cold mark, it is the only one of these figures I would buy.

Well I am going to disagree with you there. I bought a few of all my favorite wrestlers, but almost no one else did. Walmart and target had to mark these down to get rid of them, and then walmart got new ones in only to mark them down 6 months later. I can say quite confidently kids did not want or buy these. 5 below can't sell these at 1/3 there original price. The line was a nice concept at first, but the demand was not there at all.

So I could get that jacket for Bray that the WMXXX elite should’ve had to begin with....
