I thought the main event was really well done. I know it wasn't super exciting but I liked the story, and the big spots of the match were really exciting.
But I can get how its not everyone's cup of tea. It certainly can feel like a drag when you end a 4 hr PPV with a plotting match.
I liked this PPV a lot. I thought Mox Vs Cassidy was a bit weak and the Bucks Vs Kenny/Jericho match was a little lacking. Otherwise, I thought everything was good or great.
Ospreay announcement was definitely overhyped and TK needs to learn to stop doing this. He overhypes things far too often. There is no reason why one of the greatest wrestling stars of the last decade should be considered a disappointment by so many fans. Would've been much better received if they did this with no announcement beforehand.
The opening six man tag was super well-timed and didn't have a ton of filler. I thought it was a perfect opener to the event and really exciting.
Storm Vs Shida was good but I was expecting a bit more from these two, just because Shida has been on a hell of a run lately.
Tag ladder match was AWESOME.
TBS title three way was great!
Swerve Vs Hangman -- I loved it. What a match.
Not much of a PPV for the record books but it wasn't bad at all. I think a lot of stories here just lacked a lot of heat. White/MJF felt like it went on forever and I don't think many people bought into Jay White as a serious threat to MJF's reign. I think the Copeland/Christian story would have more heat if this was a singles match AND if Copeland wasn't just cutting the same rambling promo every week. Seeing *another* Elite breakup was just cliche to me and I want to see the Young Bucks work with people other than their friends. Shida Vs Storm wasn't much of a hot angle. I just think a lot of stakes here didn't have a ton of substance, even if the matches delivered.
Swerve Vs Hangman obviously takes the cake. I imagine they'll have a third match but I don't know how you can top this one. I'd say...PUT EM IN A CAGE!!!

I ordered this with some friends, and we were all checked out about half way through. 4 hours is way too long for a show. That's all I'm going to say about it, because some people here can't be adults and report every one that has a different opinion. 4 hrs is indeed too long. That's why both AEW and WWE shouldn't do it. But they both have. |

I thoroughly enjoyed Full Gear. The Texas Death Match was a bit over the top, but I loved it. I was a little disappointed by the lack of appearance from the Devil...unless the Devil was at ringside the whole time (Adam Cole).
Dynamite is in Chicago this week right?

A guy drinking another guy's blood in a death match isn't even on the list of things I'd complain about when it comes to this company. After watching the match again (and again and again) I think the most brutal spot was the piledriver on the guard rail.

Ngl I do think the drinking blood part was to far but ill give it a pass with the story they was trying to tell with Hangman being so unhinged by Swerve's actions last month or two. Its not like he does this every week,I can't remember him ever having this edge until Swerve broke in to his home. We got that awesome fired up promo from Hanger and this amazing match,so ill take this unhinged Hangman for a while longer please.
Its totally understandable if it wasn't for everybody,trust me I cant stand 99% of what guys like Mox and Gage does and if this becomes a normal thing for Page,ill put him in the same category but for a one time thing I thought this was perfect personally. I loved the emotion Edge showed when this happened to him and I love it here too,how would most people react if someone broke into your house with your family inside?

As a kid I’m watching Undertaker try to embalm people and abduct the bosses daughter and even 9 year old me is like “Call the police!” It’s stupid and doesn’t make sense. Make it make sense. It’s a trope in wrestling I don’t like. Have TMZ type people filming it or leakers or something that would at least make sense. Not  “here’s the evidence, cuff me, thanks…” |

I honestly don't see why anyone would have a problem with that,no matter what company you'll talking about 99% of people isn't gonna love everything that they do. I'm a huge fan of both companies but its definitely things that I don't like about either too and I don't see where that makes me any less of a fan personally. I just think it comes down to some fans thinking you gotta hate the competition to be a true fan and I'm sorry that's just absolutely bull💩 |
