They shouldve gave em an Australian accent and this song... Their finishing move could have been called โthe vegemite sandwichโ!

Nasty BoysThese nasty fellas would start their run together in the AWA during mid-late 80s.The big feud there was with the Midnight Rockers with them chasing em for the belts but in the end could never quite reach em.Following this would be on to Florida for a little stint in which they would win the belts there a few times but the big stuff was yet to come. In 1990 they would head to WCW in which they feuded with the Steiner Brothers for the US belts with a showdown happening at Havoc that year but in the end they would be Steinerized. They would leave for the WWF by years end with them getting a strong push as they entered with Jimmy Hart as their manager.Knobbs would be one of the final three in the Rumble in 91 before being eliminated by real life good friend Hulk Hogan.Always wondered why they left out Saggs. Following this would be their big run to the top of the tag division. They would earn a shot at Mania VII after winning a battle royal and with that the showdown was set for the big show in LA. A match they would indeed win (by way of a helmet shot) and with that we have NEW!!! WWF champs. The run would last until SSlam in which they would lose to LOD.They would fall down the ranks following this with them going on to the SSeries in a winning effort with the Beverly Brothers as they defeated old foes Rockers and Bushwhackers. At the 92 Rumble the roles were reversed as Saggs participated in the Rumble with Knobbs being out after having a real life incident at a bar with him being stabbed. At Mania VIII they would team up with the Mountie and Repo Man in a throwaway match against Boss Man,Sarge,Virgil and Duggan in a losing effort. They would do nothing of note for the majority of the year until near SSeries in which they would turn babyface and feud with new champs Money Inc. A feud that boiled over in 1993 but in the end never had an ending. They would leave the WWF that Spring and return to WCW that Summer as heels managed by Missy Hyatt.Again a big push outta the gate as they won gold at Fall Brawl as they defeated the Horsemen. This reign would not last long as they would lose em to Bagwell and 2 Cold Scorpio but would get em back quickly there after. in 94 they would feud with the crazy team of Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan with them having 2 wild brawls at SStampede and Slamboree that year with the latter them losing the belts in a Philly street fight. They would turn face that Fall with them aiding the Rhodes inside War Games against the Studd Stable. In 95 they would be intertwined in a feud with both Harlem Heat and Blue Bloods with them winning the belts one more time at Slamboree that year. They would lose the belts not long after though back to HH.In 96 they would have more wild brawls this time with Public Enemy. Again fun stuff here. They would be on their last legs by the end of the year with them feuding with HH again and Hall/Nash but in the end would come up short in getting back the belts. After issues with Hall, Saggs would leave by 97 with that ending their run for now. They would reunite in the 00s on the indies but could never reach their former success like they did in the 80s/90s. Their last big run together was short stint in TNA in 2010. Overall...Big fan of the Nasties. Preferred em as heels but still enjoyed them as faces as well. Just a good ol' fashioned brawling type team. Prayers go out to Brian Knobbs as he's dealing with some serious health issues right now. What are your memories of the Nasty Boys? Share them below!

The Nasty Boys also beat the $#!+ out of Ken Shamrock in a hotel back in the late 80s after an independent show and was about to throw him off a balcony.

I never liked the Nasty Boys. I think it was a combination of the mullet/mohawk & the trench coats. I preferred Saggs over Knobbs. That being said, they did leave their mark in wrestling's history pages.
