One of my favourites as a kid - I can't think of any of his matches that I don't enjoy watching. It's a real shame his career was cut short in the way it was.

I didnt see Kerry Von Erich in WCCW, but when I first saw him in the WWF, I thought he was so cool. The Survivor Series team with Ultimate Warrior, Modern Day Warrior/Texas Tornado and the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom is the greatest SS team ever IMO. Who knows what he couldve done if it wasnt for his drug habit? He was on his way out in fall 1991 when he would be jobbing to Rick Martel and the only notable thing he did after that was giving Ric Flair the Discus Punch at the 1992 Royal Rumble and Flair walking halfway through the ring before doing an epic flop. Come to think of it, if both feet have to touch the floor to be eliminated in a Royal Rumble, couldnt he just keep coming back in the ring after getting tossed out?

The last thing I remember from him was a decent little match with HBK after the Royal Rumble but before the WM8. Here is the match with the Undertaker just before the Survivor Series in 1991. Shame he had to job to the Taker, but they were building Taker to face Hogan.

I know one was on Coliseum Video and he was in one on PTW during the Summer which Berzerker won IIRC I also recall a match he had with Martel at MSG in early 92 and you can tell during the match he was all messed up.Sad to see

My vote is for Chris Colt, please. Not Colt Cabana, but the crazy one from back on the day.

I absolutely loved the six man opener at SSlam 91.
Was great to read about the start of his wwf run, really not familiar with his first few months, bar the IC win. Never realised he had heat with Dibiase at one point, that could have been an interesting feud. Seems like Vince lost interest in him pretty quickly though. The tornado punch was a pretty neat finisher as well.

High Energy
With Jim Neidhart outta the picture prior to WM VIII, this would leave Owen Hart without a tag partner for the time being.Things would change however for the Rocket as following Mania he would be paired with the Birdman Koko B Ware. During the beginning they would come down to Koko's ''do the bird'' theme song but not long after Koko would get himself an attire similar to Owen and with that High Energy would really get going. Their first feud would be with the Nasty Boys but it was mostly a house show feud with only the promos against each other making TV.Typical of the era I might add. That Summer they would get their first crack at the gold and Money Inc on PTW but would come up short in the end. By the Fall they would lose steam as they were pretty much just there on the roster with not much going on. At SSeries that year they would lose their only PPV match against the Headshrinkers in the opener.By 93 the team was on its last legs. They would both participate in the Rumble match with Owen lasting longer then his tag partner. The way he landed during his elimination man still looked painful as hell. The team would officially be done just weeks before WM IX when Owen would get injured with Koko then heading down to his old stomping grounds in Memphis. They would have 2 more interactions with each other in 94 in a match on Superstars and in 99 when Koko in Blue Blazer attire helped Owen and JJ win tag gold. Overall...As we all know the tag division in 92 was hurting but still this was a fun lil team from the era.Still get a laugh at Koko's entrance at the Rumble with Bobby saying ''did somebody call a cab??!!'' What are you memories of High Energy? Share em below!

An interesting pairing, but always fun to watch.
I think they looked weird wearing baggy trousers though. Especially Owen.
