Make a difference FatuWith the Headshrinkers run behind him, Fatu would be repackaged as a smiling babyface looking to ''make a difference'' during the Summer of 95.I remember them showing the California ghetto on TV with Fatu talking about his real life stabbing.I did like how they threw some truth out there.Outta the gate he would defeat jobbers like anybody else to get the gimmick off its feet. His first big match would come at In Your House that October in which he fought HHH in a losing effort. Not a good start here thats for sure. The only notable win would come at SSeries that year in which him,Taker,Savio and Henry Godwin aka the Bone Street Krew would defeat King Mabel's team in a clean sweep. This would be the peak of the gimmick as by 96 Fatu would lose steam and lose it quick. He would participate in the Rumble that year but would only have a short run before being eliminated by Issac Yankem.Following this he would mostly be used a jobber to the starts with him losing to the likes of Goldust,Vader,Mankind,Bulldog etc. They would briefly start an angle in which his former tag partner Samu and his brother Matt aka the Samoan Gangsta Party of ECW fame would try to recruit him with Fatu turning them down. This didn't go too far with it being dropped within a few weeks. He would be taken of TV by the Summer with him being repackaged by the Fall as The Sultan(A gimmick already covered here in the Retrospective!) Overall...He didnt make much of a difference with this gimmick but the Headshrinkers run ran its course so it was for the best that he get repackaged here. What are your memories/thoughts of make a difference Fatu? Share them below!

Make a Difference Fatu was proof that Rikishi was over only because of his ass. That was almost the same dancing gimmick, he was doing the same dance moves and the only difference is that he was wearing pants but nobody cared about him.

His theme music was funny, don't mean that in a good way. I remember him telling the guys in the suits that they weren't his family, that the World Wrestling Federation was his family. I think that's the last time I saw him before he came back as the Sultan.

It's amazing how much thinner he was here.
Never liked the gimmick. I always preferred him in the Samoan Swat Team.

The only thing I remember about this were the videos leading up to his debut and the match at the Survivor Series. Out of all the stuff he did in the WWF this was probably my least favorite. They had to have known that there was no way in hell a character like this was going to take off lol.

The gimmick was too Full House-like. Wholesome and corny.
