Hopefully he returns to NOAH. Poor guy had the worst luck in WWE.

Agreed. KENTA was one of my favorite wrestler to watch during his NOAH career. His aggression and swagger on the ring was second to none.
I got the chance to see him live for ROH in Chicago, was so awesome.
Hopefully he can return to his prior success and health.

Also interesting timing with the following just going down.
"Pro Wrestling Noah have been bought by LEDET Entertainment. . LEDET are the same company who are sponsoring Shiro Koshinaka, Power Hall and (formerly) Morishima.
President Uchida will be in an advisory role for LEDET, as all Noah's executives have had to be replaced."

So weird to think he's actually been in WWE since 2014, with how often he's been injured and off TV, it feels like he's only been here for about a year.
Sucks that he didn't make an impact but then again, i didn't expect him to stand out much considering he had Balor, Zayn, Owens and Neville to compete with initially (The NXT 5), then the trend of the top indy stars being signed, he just never had a chance.

I wish him luck and will be keeping an eye out to see where he turns up next. Its a damn shame he spent so much of his time in WWE on the shelf due to injuries.

Dam I want him vs Daniel Bryan You could always watch the Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA match from ROH. I mean, it's not Daniel Bryan vs. Hideo Itami, but it was a pretty solid encounter. |

It's absolutely mad to think of the fanfare his signing received as the first major NXT signing. Doing the contract in the ring in Japan with Hulk Hogan and all that.
Now he's... whatever he is.
I just hope his confidence hasn't suffered too much and he can go back to being a total badass.

I was hoping we could see him vs Kushida in WWE but I'm glad he's going somewhere hell be used better. I'm willing to bet he would have been used differently if he hadn't been getting injured so frequently. Hard to navigate the injury plague. |

I still never get over the look on his face the night Nakamura left NXT to go to the main roster. The absolute look of hatred and disdain in his face was priceless

Poor guy was snake bitten from the get go. I can fully understand him wanting to go somewhere with a lighter schedule or even if he just wants to go home.
