Man, if Detroit can't score on a four minute PP then something is wrong.
I was loling when the CBC announcer claimed that Draper cross checked Warrener when he went down. Obviously Warrener jammed his knee on the net. The replay showed Draper didn't even touch Warrener...

The CBC announcer has no idea what he is talking about. 2nd OT on it's way.

Red Wings win it! What a great game...heartbreaker for the Flames, though.

FRANZEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the series. I'm glad the Flames are done now. I'm sick of playing against cry-baby Iginla and the rest of the cheap shot express. This certainly was a bit of a challenge, but the next round is when things are going to really get crazy.

Calgary definitely didn't deserve to be there, so although I'm not a Red Wings fan by ANY means, I'm glad they moved on. I thought it was pathetic when the goalie kept gloving guys from Detroit, really cheap and disrespectful.

'Twas a great game tonight. I was pulling for the Wings to win, but a Flames victory would've been cool, as well. Congrats to the Wings for taking the win, and to Calgary.... well, see ya next year.
Go 'Nucks Go!

Now I'm hoping Detroit gets knocked out. They're probably my least favorite team, with my least favorite player, Bertuzzi.
Bitter Avalanche fan, I know.

Well the odds against Dallas, and the chances are pretty high they will win. With some luck, Vigneault motivational speech could get Vancouver back on track.

In 3 of the 4 regular season games Buffalo played against us, Weekes was in goal. You have to throw the regular season stats out the window in this case. Plus, we didn't have Avery back when we played them. Two good points. Avery gave them a big boost and Weekes is horrible. I'm glad he got hurt. With Valiquette, the Rangers don't feel the need to play their backup. I think they wanted to play Weekes since he has a hefty contract and they feel like they should get their money's worth. I know you have to get rid of regular season stats, but it'll still be a tough series. It could come down to Henrik vs. Miller.

That and 3 out of 4 of Buffalo's wins were in OT.
