yeah, either interference or elbowing should've been called on Neidermeyer after his hit on Hannsen. I also think that only reason Luongo was still complaining was because he thought the puck went out of the zone on the back-pass. Then, Scott just threw it at the net. Luongo definitely wasn't screened, so it had to be the fact that he was complaining with the referee.

I felt so bad last night when Luongo lost that game. Seriously...for a guy who single-handedly carried that team and made 50 - 60 saves per game, he did NOT deserve to lose that game. He made a mistake on a shot that most definitely should be stopped, but still...to end your season because of that fluke goal really does suck. I feel for him and I could only imagine how bad he felt after that goal went in.

Sabres outplayed New York in the first but still didn't score. I have a feeling that's going to change very soon.

Henrik should have stopped that shot. The NY Rangers "rookie" mistakes, such as shooting at the open net, are going to end up costing them the series I think. They are making too many mistakes and not scoring enough goals.

I've got an idea. Why doesn't the NHL just skip Games 6 and 7 and just give Buffalo the Cup tomorrow since the NHL gives them everything else?
The Rangers outplayed the Sabres this ENTIRE game and lost because of the biggest joke of a penalty call I've ever seen in my life. If that was a hooking call on Betts, this league is in desperate trouble.
Congrats to the Sabres for the win...they were able to take advantage of the referees ruining the game, and the Rangers weren't.
Let me use my psychic skills to predict what a Sabres fan will reply with to my post:
"STOP CRYNG U GUYZ LOSSS"
Whatever. This team has gotten farther than I ever thought and if it all ends Sunday, it's been a hell of a ride. But the officiating in this series has undoubtedly SERIOUSLY costed the Rangers several games. And if you aren't willing to admit that, you've got issues.

No, Thug, the worst call of the game, was the ing "goaltender interference on Izzy, when Nylander scored. Buffalo can stuck it, they had no right to win this. Come back to the garden.
