If the Patriots are guilty, they need to be punished, flat out. Odds are they arent the only team that did this, I bet they werent the only team doing it in 2007 either. Stripping titles never happens, NCAA barely does it and they erase teams from the record books, but never an actual winner. Frankly, doenst a US Senator, in an election year have anything better to do than figure out of a football team was video taping another tape 8 years ago> He's doing it because he probably lost a bunch of money betting against the Pats. I have never liked them but I respect the Pats. They are just f*cking good. Video tapes don't create talent and they have talent that is for sure.

Alge Crumpler got released, Wayne Gandy, Leftwich so far with Coleman and a few other scrubs. Milloy wouldn't surprise me, and I still expect and hope for Dunn to be released. I kind of hope they release Brooking, or renegotiate his contract.

Yea but if you know what a team is going to do before they do it you have a huge advantage.

will be interesting to see what my Rams do. offensive line is a must. would be nice to get some young players at defensive end. relying on hall and little to keep anchoring won't be helpful in the upcomming years.
pretty excited to see what al saunders can do with our offense.

I don't know if anyone else here is a fan of the Fins, but they've started released a bunch of guys. I don't know the full list but so from what I remember it's this: Zach Thomas Marty Booker Keith Traylor LJ Shelton Trent Green and I think possibly Cleo Lemon. It sucks that they're losing Zach, he was damn good. But, yeah he was getting older and injured and had a like 5 million dollar contract or something like that. And Marty Booker was decent. Then, the guy who led them to their only win, Cleo; I would've they might keep him tbh. So, they have so many needs; what way do you guys think they'll go? I think given the oppurtunity, Ted Ginn and Derek Hagan could be pretty good, but still they need more good players at WR. Then they obviously have no amazing QB's. But to end on a somewhat good note, they're set for running backs. Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and Lorenzo Booker. I really wish Ricky would play like he used to...

Personally I hate Ben Watson so if Alge Crumpler wants to come to New England, I'll rock that jersey

I think the Patriots will definitely be interested in Thomas.

Why so they can have more old guys on defense? Thats not going to help out their defense if they want to win it all next year.

Thomas makes sense for us, is he a solution though? no not really. Seau didnt make sense either and he was our 2nd best LB.
He'll be visiting the Pats, I am sure but we need to get younger there

Young guys just do not thrive in the Patriots system.
Belichick likes veterans, guys who have experience and are "football" smart. There's a reason drafted linebackers have NEVER stuck... the closest they've had to one that's contributed at all is Banta-Cain. They just can't pick up/play the system as well as he'd like.
It's a reason I really don't think you'll see them drafting any more linebackers while BB's running the show.

They dont draft LB's thats the problem, has nothing to do with sticking, for some strange reason he doenst draft em, but he needs to. That front 4 is one of the best in the league, the back 7 is scarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry old and bad and will be even worse when Asante bolts

I think they were pretty happy with Donald Lee emerging as a real end zone threat last season, though.
Not saying they couldn't upgrade, but I'd be surprised.

Alge to Bengals.
Happens all the time to me in Madden for the first off-season move...it'd make sense in real life. I mean...the Bengals have been due a good tight end for like 10 years?

Allegedly, Thomas is visiting Foxboro today.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk out with a contract, to be honest.

I liked Alge, but he turned into a douche when his homey got put into jail, and became a locker room problem too. Also, he can't block. He has great hands though. I don't blame them for cutting him. I just hope more are to follow.

Well, supposedly our new offense rarely utilizes the tight end as a receiver, so that's part of why they let him go.

Well, supposedly our new offense rarely utilizes the tight end as a receiver, so that's part of why they let him go. But aside from Roddy White, your receivers rarely utilize their hands to catch the ball, so dropping Crumpler was strange, but being a cancer in the locker room is the best way to get the boot

White had a case of skillet hands until this past year, where he finally turned the corner. Jenkins is Garbage, Finneran will probably never play again, and Horn is beyond washed up.
