raiders are interested in trading michael huff according to rotoworld.
...but, with his contract is insane....so who'd want him in a trade?
...so the raider's managment is just stupid.

Jets have given Vilma permission to seek trade. The idea in St. Louis is to ship 2nd round pick for Vilma and swap that with the Jets 6th pick. Even though rotoworld.com said it's unlikely, Vilma is a stud in the middle in the 4-3. Witherspoon could move to the outside along with Pisa. Depending on if the Jets take Gholston at No. 2 or not...it'd be heaven if he fell down there to No.6 for the Rams if that trade even went through. I can only dream....can only dream. That would be awesome, but the Rams are probably going to cut Laroi Glover for cap room and Carriker is going to have shoulder surgery so St Louis will probably take a DT. Unless they cut Leonard Little then they should definately take Gholston.

yeah, the Jets gave Vilma permission to seek a trade... to any team except the Patriots. hehe. the Mangini/Belichick feud is hilarious.
so apparently, after Darren McFadden ran a 4.33 40-yard dash and generally wowed the scouts at the Combine, the Cowboys are even more interested in moving up to take him. Adam Schefter of the NFL Network was saying it could be a package like RB Marion Barber and picks #21, #28, and #62 to Miami in exchange for pick #1.
thats crazy. I don't think Jerry Jones is dumb enough to let his Arkansas-shaded glasses blind his logic and make a move like that. trading both of your 1st rounders to move up and get a player is one thing... trading your top 3 picks and your Pro Bowl RB for the chance to take a guy who won't even be an every-down back at the next level is just lunacy. not to mention, it would cost them about $75 million dollars to get McFadden under contract.

Isn't Barber a FA? I thought he was. The Falcons need to take McFadden.

My sentiments exactly. Keep Barber...pass on McFadden. Not worth it. While I'm still discussing the Cowboys, we now have legitimately the best line backing corps in the NFL. Greg Ellis, Demarcus Ware, Bradie James, Akin Ayodele, Bobby Carpenter, and now Zack Thomas. Jesus Christ, the depth is incredible.

Weird. Not like it's Jerry Rice going back to San Fran. I still remember him more for playing in Washington.

Rumors are that Randy Moss and the Patriots are struggling to come up with a contract... Another rumor is that the Dallas Cowboys will make an effort to get Moss should he become a free agent.
Owens + Moss + Witten = death.
Keep your McFadden. We'll be fine.

I'm back. Unfortunately the Raiders are still as rubbish and dysfunctional as before. No clue what's we'll do this offseason, personnally I think we need to take it slowly and only sign players who'll have long term value for the team. No more short term fixes.

Yeah Moss is gonna resign with New England, expect it done by Saturday. No way him and Owens can co-exist.
Also, Darren McFadden MIGHT be the father of 3 ill-legitimate children....yay!

Moss to Dallas? ProFootballTalk.com
We've mused from time to time about the possibility of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones correcting one of the biggest mistakes he ever made. Ten years ago, Jones was leaning toward selecting receiver Randy Moss with the eighth overall pick in the draft.
In the end, Jones passed.
Later that year, Moss caught three passes for three touchdowns in a Minnesota win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
So with Moss destined to hit the open market on Friday, could Jones' recent vow to put "wow" in the offense result in a decision to add Moss?
Think about it. Who in the heck would the defenses double-team? Focus on T.O., and Moss is wide open. Focus on Moss, and Owens runs free. Focus on both, and Jason Witten makes a helmetless rumble to the end zone.
John Czarnecki of FOXSports.com writes that the Patriots and Moss aren't close to a new deal, and that the Pats believe that Moss will give them a chance to match any offer that he receives on the open market.
Most intriguingly, the Czar acknowledges the existence of a rumor that the Cowboys will make a play for Moss.
Still, if there's concern about T.O. and Javon Walker not being able to co-exist, the entire NFL should get its popcorn ready to watch Owens explode when Moss rolls into town with the kind of contract Owens would love to have. Instantly, Owens would be politicking for a dollar-for-dollar match of Randy's deal, and it would only go downhill from there.
So, obviously, we're secretly hoping that the Cowboys sign Moss.

Patriots, per WEEI have cut Rosevelt Colvin, and per The Boston Globe, will not attempt to resign Eugene Wilson.

Moss and Owens on the same team would be great entertainment one way or the other.

Moss and Owens on the same team would be great entertainment one way or the other. Yep yep. I actually don't think it'd be as big of a deal as other people apparently do. People neglect to remember that Moss took a deal with the Patriots last year that was millions less than what e could have gotten elsewhere. It's not "all about the Benjamins" for Moss. While I do ultimately believe that he will resign with the Patriots, it doesn't hurt to dream.

it wasn't all about the benjamins with Moss last season because he had averaged about 50 catches per year for the past 3 seasons and a lot of people thought he was done. now, its a different story. after 1,500 yards and an NFL record-23 TD's, he's gonna wanna be paid. straight cash, homey.
and lest we not forget, Randy Moss is the culprit of developing a pass-monopolizing system called "the Randy Ratio." I'm pretty sure T.O. would immediately try to hit him over the head with a bengal tiger and then do 30 sit-ups on top of Randy's head
