Lets be honest ever since Nakamura turned heel he has fell flat. Not only was he more likeable as a face he was also more successful. After losing to AJ multiple times he had a mediocre US title reign where he had no feuds and rarely appeared and now he's in a mid/lower card team with Rusev.
He's a fantastic talent and was over as hell so it's sad to see how far he has fallen.

While I still like him, I've found myself following him less since his dumb heel turn. If it was done a bit better, I might have paid more attention.

If he's paired with a manager who speaks English, yes. As of now no.
Now, if Brock Lesnar comes into SDL as anticipated, he might get a main event run if Lesnar isn't sniffing around the WWE title. The WWE tends to give IWC favorites a main title run when the belt is second to the main story. See Asuka.

Yes, but he needs time away and needs to turn babyface. Move him to Raw and have him feud with heels- or, you can book Nakamura vs Reigns/ Rollins in face vs face feuds

Shinsuke Nakamura needs 2 VERY simple things... to be taken seriously and an Asian-American manager. Someone who can speak for Nakamura, while he puts in his 2 cents here and there with the broken English.
He’s an amazing heel with his charismatic mannerisms, but his promos are tough and he’s getting lost in the shuffle because of it.
MORE MANAGERS AND VALETS!

I'm honestly kind of past caring tbh. Wouldn't say he's beyond repair, but it's highly unlikely he'll amount to much now.
Just give me a high profile feud with Black and I'll be happy.

Just like Braun, there is no helping Nakamura now.

I’d love to see Nakamura and Asuka paired with Sonny Onoo. Imagine the selfies!

To be honest, Nakamura doesn't seem to be doing himself any favors. Besides a few matches here and there, he seems uninterested. I'm not sure if he's trying to work safer or if he think WWE's style is beneath him. But he seems lost at times. Which is odd, because he's so good... when he wants to be.
As far as his heel turn goes, I still think aligning him with Aiden English would have been the way to go. Let Aiden be his annoying mouthpiece/heater. But at this point, turn him back to a face. Give him a good mid-card push and see where things go from there.

He "fell flat" because he's doing his money work and clearly doesn't care enough to actually put the effort in that he put in with New Japan.

I think someone nailed it,baring his debut match against Sami Zayn at Takerover(which as of today I would say is in the running for the top ten greatest matches of this decade in WWE) and a throwaway match a year or more back against Rusev on a PPV everything else has been lackluster at best.Yes his booking hasn't been great and his heel turn has fallen flat but working with the likes of Styles,Joe,Hardy,Roode,Ziggler..ect really hasn't produced any classic or even very good matches.Everything has just been kind of average or below. Really think Nakamura made the jump for a payday and to just kind of coast for a few years before possibly jumping back to NJPW or another company and then being viewed as a bigger global star.

Everybody's NXT work was much better than their main roster work, it was an hour show where they weren’t featured on a weekly basis so a lot of flaws were easily hidden that have been exposed on the main roster; it’s happened with everyone.

At this point, I'd like to see him back in New Japan. Or maybe even AEW.

This. And they have months to prepare and practice each match. Also, NXT isnt live, so they can edit out any botches that someone may have.

I thought Nakamura sucked during his NXT run.
I thought he sucked during his baby face Smackdown run.
But I think his heel run has been great!
He worked a program with the WWE Champion as a heel.
He won the US title - twice - as a heel.
He has awesome new theme music as a heel.
He comes off funnier and more entertaining as a heel.

I was never enamored by him, I did warm to him at times but I dont think he would be any loss where he to suddenly leave.

He’s alright, but he created huge expectations with his debut match in NXT, then never got close to living up to them. At this point, it seems safe to say that match was mostly down to Sami Zayn. Nakamura is usually a very mediocre talent, but cool entrance and sometimes he’s quite funny.
