Guarantee big daddy Dave Meltzer won't give any of the matches more than 3.75 stars.

Tag Titles - ****1/4 Riddle/Dream - ****1/4 Dunne/WALTER - ****1/2 Women's match - ***3/4 Cole/Gargano - ****1/4 Admit it, you would have given Gargano-Cole 5 stars if Cole won.

Shayna had a lot more training and wasn't thrust into the highest profile main roster spotlight so she's had time to grow into a star. She also surprisingly has more charisma in her promos. Khali has more charisma than Ronda. She's forced and cringy af too. Plus she forgets her...eh...her...lines. LOL

So it's cool when Johnny Wrestling kicks out of everything but not when Roman kicks out of an F5? Makes sense.

I guess it all comes down to what you value more in your wrestling viewing: telling a fairytale Disney-esque story where the princess finds true love OR making the in ring action look somewhat believable despite the fact that we all know it's choreographed and scripted. I thought it was a great main event UNTIL Johnny kicked of the canadian destroyer. Then it descended into Evil Dead levels of cartoonish ridiculosity.

Roman just gets brutalized in a match, suplexed a dozen times, and then eats five F-5’s that he all kicks out of? Yeah no, that doesn’t tell any story

So it's cool when Johnny Wrestling kicks out of everything but not when Roman kicks out of an F5? Makes sense. Gargano is an indie guy doing indie things in what is ostensibly WWE's indie fed, doing it against a peer. Reigns is the top corporate guy who is does it against everybody else because he needs to be booked strong. As I said earlier, let Johnny G get ONE win over Roman in similar fashion and then we can discuss the hypocrisy.

Fantastic show live. Can't wait for my photos to be posted. Check SLAM! Wrestling tomorrow morning to see them! How loud was the pop for Gargano winning? Sounded insane from the video. It was incredible. I've been to tons of big shows over the years and that one ranks up there. Side note to all, my photos are online over at SLAM! Wrestling, check them out!

Awesome PPV with a lot of big matches. I wanted Cole to win but it makes sense for Gargano to finally get a win at Takeover.

I'm shocked people are complaining about the false finishes in the Main Event. If there was ever a chance to pull off false finishes, then this was the chance to do it. It was perfect story telling. Gargano has time and time again come up short, failed, and the majority of people were certain that Adam Cole was winning this. The huge final false finish was almost up there with The Streak ending in terms of shock factor for me. It looked certain that they were going to have Undisputed Era be too much for Gargano and have him still look valiant in defeat, but he finally overcame everything.
False finishes don't work when people just kick out of finishers over and over again for no reason, with no shock factor, and ultimately no effect. The degree and level to which Gargano overcame was mind blowing, to the point that it paid off, it worked, and it suited his whole NXT path to this point. Roman Reigns simply kicking out of five F5's purely because Vince wants him to look strong was absolutely ridiculous, and only diminished the value of Brock Lesnar. The pop when Gargano kicked out over and over again left everybody in disbelief, as each time it made you think that simply has to be it now. The drama tied together too only enhanced the reaction.

I'm shocked people are complaining about the false finishes in the Main Event. I I am not. People will piss and moan about everything. You can give some people a million dollars and they will b**** that it wasn't 2 million.
