I'm hoping we get Bret Hart and/or Razor Ramon in Series 11... it'll be interesting to see if the 2/2 split of current guys and legends continues too. NWO Hogan, Bret Hart are musts. Maybe Batista/Big Show for something different Just wish they would give the collectors a choice/vote to say what we want Hollywood or 80’s Hogan would be terrific. Feels like The Miz is inevitable as one of the current stars.

Otherwise, I don't really care if they make Bret, I'm sure it would be far inferior to the Hasbros anyway. NWO Hogan would be great (WCW era), or LJN era Hogan would be cool. And I know we already got 2 Machos, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, but the Mega Powers would be sweet!

I'm probably staying out of Five Below unless someone finds something. Between 6 stores, I haven't seen an actual figure there since before Christmas. Only some squishee looking things and the dolls. No retros at 5 below right now. Some stores are starting to get the ellsworth/Carmella hardy boys battlepacks wave. Not bad at 5 each. I just picked up all of Series 4 at Five Below on Tuesday. Ours is a fairly new store (opened about a month ago) so that could be why we have them.

Switched heads yesterday.
Undertaker got the Elite one with removable mask and head, what an epic upgrade!
Stone Cold got the head from a Basic Wrestlemania Dallas. While it is very lose it is an incredible upgrade aswell.
Unfortunately I don’t get how to post pics here... nevertheless I will definitely start to switch heads on all my Retros. Not sure, but I have a feeling that the Elite heads have a better / tighter fit and are more detailed than the Basic lines.
Found a Vince Elite at our Smyths in the sale section. Belt has been stolen. Will try to get that for 5 next week. This might work well as my first Retro custom.

Still seeing Series 7 at my local Targets and Walmarts. Good news is that they seem to slowly be selling down.

Still seeing Series 7 at my local Targets and Walmarts. Good news is that they seem to slowly be selling down. It seems like all of the Walmarts in my area just restocked S7 in the last few weeks. All of their inventory count is between 11-27. My Targets still have S3-4. My hope is slowly dwindling for 5-6 to show up.

What are some wrestlers you want to see in the Retro line? I'm really hoping for tag teams, and there's talks of bringing the females into the line, too. Series 11 I'm guessing will be The Miz (Nothing I'd be excited about but i feel like it's definitely going to happen), maybe a Ronda Rousey, and for the legends it's hard to say. But who I'd love to see would be, of course, Hogan, Bret Hart, Big Boss Man, Million Dollar Man, Roddy Piper, and of course Andre the Giant. Would be fun to see a referee and a manager would be awesome. Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Mr Fuji. And for tag teams I'd like to see Natural Disasters and Legion of Doom. As bad as I want to see Demolition i know we wont anytime soon.

From what I've read there were only a handful of stores that saw those series' and it was all very brief. And i did a lot of research because neither 5 nor 6 ever showed up in my area at all. Had to order them to get em. Series 7 is everywhere, just like series 3 was. Series 8 was also hard to find in most areas, but some got lucky. And as for series 9, i dont think those are hitting shelves anywhere. Definitely curious to see if series 10 gets released in stores.

More attitude era retros! Who would you like to see that they haven't already done? Scott Hall? Kevin Nash? The Godfather? Lol I'd like to see more legends like Hogan, Million Dollar Man, and Andre. Those always seem to be the most popular. I like how they are doing it now: with 2 current superstars, 1 legend from the 80s or 90s, and then one legend from the attitude era (right around there). I'm praying that they start to do tag teams.

Still seeing Series 7 at my local Targets and Walmarts. Good news is that they seem to slowly be selling down. My local WM and Targets have bare shelves all around. I see that as a good thing because they should be restocking again really soon. Only problem is i have no idea when that will happen. I wish Mattel would let us know the release dates for stores.

And then USA Luger, Double J, MoM, Heel Jake, Piper in trunks, King Mabel, Jerry Lawler, 94' Bob Backlund, 94/95 Bulldog, Jerry Lawler, 95 HBK, 95 Diesel. Beyond that any more Hasbro era, LJN era, New Gen era, and WCW is what I'd really like. Attitude era to a lesser degree. Not intrested in anyone modern but I would buy a Curt Hawkins.

I’m happy to see different eras represented in the waves, but of course I’m naturally more interested in seeing figures from eras when I was watching. The first event I saw on TV was This Tuesday in Texas, and I watched up to around SummerSlam 2004 when Benoit lost the World title to Orton and after that there wasn’t much left for me to enjoy, especially after Eddie Guerrero died the following year. I then washed my hands completely of WWE when Benoit died, right up until Bret Hart returned in 2010 (he was the only one who could’ve brought me back after Benoit happened) but that was very limited and short-lived. So my focus would be on 1991/2 to 2004/5, but that’s just me. I’m also open to guys before that time, like JYD and Sheik, or even special earlier guys like Bruno Sammartino. I took my cousins to Raw last year so I sort of know what’s going on now due to guys like Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Rollins, Owens, New Day, etc., so I don’t mind that much about current guys, and I understand Mattel need to provide a balance - two current guys and two legends is fine with me, but it’s the legends that create the excitement from what I can see. What I’m excited by is that Diesel, Goldust and the green Macho Man indicate that we have a Hasbro-knowledgable person working on the line somewhere, whether that’s Bill or someone else influencing the choices - that makes me excited to think we’ll soon see USA Lex, the Hart Foundation (Anvil at least), Jerry Lawler, Mabel and other long-term fan targets. I certainly expect that once Jeff Jarrett makes it to the Elite line then we’ll see his Retro shortly afterwards. I’m hoping we hear something new before SDCC, but if we don’t then I will be there asking everyone in the Mattel booth about the line until I either get the answers I want, or get thrown-out

I think it would be neat if they started doing one person from each major era: Current Roster, post-Invasion, Attitude, New Generation, and Golden 80’s.
Current Roster is self explanatory, post Invasion would be everything after the alliance died up until let’s say Wrestlemania XXX, Attitude could include WCW and even ECW guys, New Generation would give us dozens of guys that were skipped over for one reason or another, and Golden 80’s could include everyone from Backlund, obviously the Hogan saga, and even sprinkle in some NWA/WCW guys.
Top wants by era: Golden 80’s -Bob Backlund -King Kong Bundy -Sting -Hart Foundation Jim Neidhart
New Generation -USA Lex Luger -Jerry Lawler -King of Harts Owen Hart -Vader
Attitude Era -Vince McMahon -DX Shawn -Hollywood Hogan -Dude Love
Post-Invasion -Edge -Eddie Guerrero -Khali -Big Show
Current Roster -Rey Mysterio -Usos -Rusev

I don't know how it all goes down admittedly, but I just get the feeling their hands are tied with having to feature mainly current stars and the legends we do get are a just a bone thrown to us 'old school' collectors-aside from it being a Hasbro style to begin with of course lol. The exception of course being Series 2. I don't know what happened there but it was awesome and at least we have that for the ones lucky enough to find all of them lol.

I'm pretty sure it was the set that Bill did - and he obviously knew the sort of figures collectors wanted. It looks like there will be an even split of 2 current guys and 2 Legends from Series 9 on... (finger's crossed!).

I still say that these should get bumped to 8 figures per a series and have variant figures for each one of the figures in the series along with store Chase's of someone they think would shelfwarm imagine if series 2 had done this and had variants we could have gotten dx/new gen triple h stone cold/ ringmaster the rock / Rocky debut sting / sufer or Wolfpack mankind / debut attire Kane / inverted colors or Issac yankem Same could have happened with a few figures from other sets after Nwo macho/ Wolfpack shawn Michaels/ new gen or attitude era Kurt angle/ruthless or current Jeff Hardy/attitude or ruthless Matt Hardy / attitude or ruthless Diesel/Kevin nash macho Man/macho king in pants But 2 that would have definitely benefited from it that we won't be able to get again was Jericho and goldust could have done Jericho/ attitude era or wcw attire Goldust/ attitude era attire this would keep the line always fresh plus make us buy more and give us a lot more figures to add to the collection if it was to happen and every single figure had a variant

Hope there is a sdcc retro exclusive or a ringside retro exclusive. Even a repaint of a released figure would be an easy exclusive to have out by year's end.
A repainted Cena, Roman or Taker would be great !
