Watching the YouTube stream of the SDCC panel, Steve announces Series 12 (Bret, Anvil, Jimmy Hart & Volkoff) goes on sale for pre-order August 31st. Anyone have the youtube link to the SDCC panel? I can't find it anywhere online. Thank you!! They were live-streaming it, and when I paused to share this info I guess the stream ended and it locked me out of the video saying it was private . Hopefully they'll repost the panel because I really wanted to hear what they said about the nWo two-packs.

I really hope these look better than the ones shown at the WM reveal...

Just realised that those of us who have ordered Zombies Double J will now likely end up with a Mattel ‘duplicate’ 😳 Although, have to say Zombies are better figures. To be honest, I think it would have to be quite something for a Mattel retro Jarrett to be worse than the heels and faces one.

That Tugboat is definitely growing on me…seems to look a lot better in that display than seen previously. And I like that they’ve changed the lower legs on Greg from the renders, and ditched the knee pads.
You would think that between ‘filling holes’ of unreleased hasbros and an NWO set, that most people would be happy….but I’m sure there’ll still be some…🤦🏻♂️😂

Not sure Doink's hair is soft and Hasbro-esque, but that doesn't bother me so much personally. Remains to be seen if Lex's face is better but his color looks vastly improved. Can't believe how stunning that Nash figure is, normally an all-black retro wouldn't be one of my favorites but that head scan is absolutely perfect. Hogan definitely has new tooling, looks like his shirt is molded on and the legs look articulated. Hogan and Syxx is a wonky grouping, but I'm so pumped to have two-packs back. I think this is a brilliant strategy branching off to RSC as well. More of these getting made per-year gives us all a better chance at getting what we want, and the two-pack format opens up possibilities that may have been passed over in the bundle waves.

I'm a little underwhelmed with the renders. Glad we're getting all these, but of everything revealed this week, I honestly don't need them for my display at least. My customs from Darren are far superior. Will still get them to keep MOC and maybe even play with at some point too.
And I really hoped for all ring gear NWO, my ideal Hall and Nash would have been in their Bash at the Beach 96' gear. Will get them though anyway as long as I'm able to obtain them during the order window.
And did they really announce Double J for a retro? And did they say outright it's the same in the pink/purple attire that Zombie is putting out?

I really wish RSC would have access to everything from here on out so I wouldn't need to worry about getting into a limited order window.

Aren't these going to be like the other sets, all 4 figures sold together in one box but on individual cards?

Regrettably I wasn't able to hear the part of the panel where they talked about the nWo figures, the video locked me out, but Ringside's instagram is referring to them as "Ringside Exclusive Retro 2-Packs." I suppose the plan could always change, but for now it sounds like the "tag team" format from the Hasbro run is on its way back. I hope that holds true because 2-packs were one of my biggest wants out of the original retail run.

Steve said that the Hart Foundation set will be available on Mattel Creations on August 31, sounded like it will be exactly the same deal as the first MC wave. Agreed though, I wish they would do what it sounds like they're doing with the Cody ultimate. Leave the pre-order window open a full week, let everyone who wants them order them. Not sure we'll ever get a sustained production run of any of these figures, maybe the RSC stuff, but there are ways to make them more accessible for sure.

These all look awesome. Hopefully the ordering process goes smooth on both sites (Mattel and ringside).

I am really excited for the next wave, hopefully it will be as easy to order as it was last time.
If I am being really nitpicky, I wish Volkof was not in the set as he kind of sticks out like a sore thumb, but at least the figure looks good.

Nothing against Volkoff, he would've fit in with maybe a Slick-themed set, but he just doesn't fit in with the Mouth of the South and his Foundation

A one week window would be wonderful, I hope it isn't a set amount again like last time. I wasn't too thrilled with the mid-80's guys, so didn't really go out of my way. I usually sleep during the day, and sucks ass to wake up and ruin my day as I probably wouldn't be able to fall back to sleep for hours then, I'm sure people have jobs too that don't allow them to order at the drop of a hat neither. But, I need the Hart Foundation, and the next set too. At least 2 or 3 sets each. Come on Mattel, let Ringside carry everything, what would it hurt? It's like they want to cap the amount of money they make.

You know, I think I'm more excited for the NWO sets! I have never ordered from ringside before so I hope they are as easy to get as the last set were from Mattel.
Also, I want all 12 figures that were shown, but I have no freaking idea where I'm going to put them. I've been telling my wife for a while we need a bigger house, but the property market in the UK right now is a mess. Plus is buying a new house so you have more your to display your collection a little extreme 😂😂😂

Wow Lawler may be the best one yet!
Love that NWO set as well they nailed it. Along with the lost Hasbro set they knocked it out of the park with the SDCC showing
