Anyone recall where rumored 11 & 12 line ups were posted ? I haven't seen any proof that these actually exist, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. The 11 & 12 rumor was posted HERE. It might actually be in this thread. Someone sited a source who had some scoop in the past. Agree with Chicago, until we see a listing on Brickseek or something remotely concrete, this should be considered total speculation.

I would assume the rumors came from these posts: I read this recently Sounds likely. The rumor is the Usos, JJ, Steamboat, The Miz, Rusev, Kalisto, Mysterio for series 11 and 12. Should be confirmed at SDCC. I'm always hesitant to believe someone without having seen some sort of proof first. In this case, for me, it would have to be a verifiable product code or UPC. It's how I knew I could prove the Bret Hart and Big Show rumors were false back in early 2018 when the numbers didn't match up.

Sounds about right. They've been doing a lot from the mid 80's recently. JYD, Sheik, Macho Man green tights, Ric Flair, and now Steamboat, Makes sense. All they need now is a Volkoff, Hogan, Piper, and Brutus Beefcake. Love to see Hart Foundation, too.

So if the rumoured series 11 & 12 lineups are true, what actions/parts do you think will be used? Rey Mysterio - Jeff Hardy kicker or jumper Jeff Jarrett - Elias guitar smash or Austin clothesline Steamboat - Austin clothesline or jumper Rusev - Rock slam (hopefully with new arms with no elbow pads) Miz - Austin clothesline or Zayn kicker or Elias Kalisto - jumper Uso’s - jumpers? Hopefully Steamboat isn’t a jumper again! Also, making both Usos jumpers would be terrible and yet hilarious. The rest seem about right. It sure would be nice to get a suplex action or hell, even a Roman action/Jake Roberts action. Loved the idea of an accessories pack too: belts, table, ladder, and chairs. I have added all of those things from other lines but it would be great to have something “official.”

The last jumper was on Series 6 and I am glad they havent used that horrible mold again. I hope they continue to not make anymore jumpers

I don't hate the jumpers - they're not my favourite actions but they rightly have their place in the line; the key is finding the balance between rotating the actions. Mattel definitely overdosed on jumpers for a time there (though TBF they did have different versions of them - e.g. Rollins vs. Goldberg), but now they are in danger of doing the same with kickers, split-torsos and clothesline figures.
I'd be fine with a jumper in the next series since it's been a little while now, but it has to be an appropriate guy - Sting, Triple H and Goldberg, whilst understandable given the moves they were going for, weren't natural fits in terms of their physiques which I think triggered much of the negativity.
Mattel should invest in new body parts for the Reigns punch and Brock slam actions - if we're right that they haven't reappeared because of the Shield and MMA details not fitting other guys, then I think they'll get a lot of value out of investing in more generic parts for those actions - the obvious one being a 1992 heel Shawn Michaels with the punch. (Though I'd use another attire than the white and red we got with Hasbro - maybe the previous white and black version after he first turned? I always liked the attire from when he won the IC title, and if you want colour then the reverse red attire from Survivor Series '92 - basically there are lots of options for HBK in that era with a punch.)
I agree about wanting to see the suplex action added, maybe without the singlet detailing to make it usable for different guys than the Hasbro?
We also need at least one for heavier guys - we need a Vader at some point, and probably a Tugboat. Mabel might need an extra big one, though Hasbro were going to use the Earthquake body for him despite him being Yokozuna-sized in terms of weight.

If those lineups are true, I'd be buying Steamboat, Double J and Rey depending on eras done. Really hope Double J is new gen era and Rey WCW. And I assume Steamboat would be LJN/WM3ish period, which would be sweet.

Announcers/managers would be an awesome addition and an un-tapped market for the Hasbro style figures... Vince, Mean Gene, Heenan, Monsoon, Bearer, Sherri. Heck, they could do Jimmy Hart and just re-paint his jacket for multiple versions. I'd be surprised if Hart Foundation Anvil wasn't on their radar due to his omission from the Hasbro range and his recent HOF induction.

I'd be amazed if Jeff Jarrett isn't New Generation, both in the Retros and the Elite line - such a rich choice of gear there for Mattel to work-on. A short-hair biker shorts version might come later to the Retros (definitely will appear in the other lines I'd say), but surely they have to start with the Country Music gimmick. Rey I'd expect to be current. Have Mattel ever released a WCW Rey in any of the other lines? I know they've released a ton of him but I'm not familiar enough with the other lines. I agree that Steamboat will likely be WrestleMania III Ricky - nice and simple in budget terms, but would look amazing with the Ric Flair chop

Given that they have produce a green trunks Macho and a Diesel figure, I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility that they will also produce other figures that were sought after by hasbro collectors.
So I think Anvil could be likely at some point. I anticipate them using the Rock body/action (it has elbow pads).
So maybe even R&B Valentine at some point...if they have him signed up for figures. I’m presuming that they might as a lot of people seem to be speculating on an upcoming Hammer figure (likewise with Jarrett).

Yeah, there's actually been quite a few: there were 2 Basic ones in that Rey Mysterio boxset ages ago, the Battlepack one (with RVD), the Elite 32 figure - and more recently the Elite 68 Halloween Havoc Rey. I think the forthcoming Basic 99 figure is a WCW version too.

Thanks for the info!

Agreed; the Diesel and Macho 2 figures gave me encouragement as well that there is an old-school Hasbro fan at the wheel of the line. I remember hearing that Bill hasn’t been on the line since the excellent second series, but those recent choices make me think the line is in good hands (or at least in the hands of someone easily influenced by Ryder’s collection ). I’d love Anvil with a Rock-type action, particularly if they release a matching Bret with the clothesline action to combine with for the Hart Attack. Needs to be a fatter body really, but the action at least would be ideal.

Well, I finally caved and bought a bunch of retros from RSC. After keeping a close eye on Ebay the last several months, they were the closest I've seen to in-store pricing. I picked up the more common ones to start filling my gaps and will see what happens in the coming months with the rest.
I ended up getting for $98: S5: Kofi S6: Sting and Wyatt S8: Hardy, Strowman, and Ryder S9: Goldust and Orton

It seems a lot of people love the hasbro Bret, bit I always thought he looked a bit special. Clothesline action all the way
