The Vader and King figures are near perfect to me and have renewed my interest in regaining my hasbro collection that I sold off years ago

With the inclusion of a female body and other new parts I don’t see this line retiring soon. Maybe they could even add another set of 4 per year, but that might be wishful thinking.

That feels like the sweet spot (in addition to the RSC exclusives). Between these and the other retros companies, I have purchased more new figures this year than probably any other time in my life. |

As a boy I always wanted Sensational Sherri and Miss Elizabeth figures in this retro style. Hopefully Mattel will make it happen some day. Though I very much want this, my fear is that they will reuse the arms or feet from the Chyna/Wendi body which would look absolutely ridiculous! |

I agree the last set was incredible. Don't forget that Vader.
I think we agree that everyone here would *love* a Heenan, Sherri, Elizabeth Retro -- instead we get Mr. T.

And Muhammad Ali, I’d have little interest if he wasn’t part of a 4 pack.
Zeus, Sherri, Liz would be a great set. They could do a Brutus as the fourth guy since he was part of the main event at Summerslam 89 instead of yet another Hogan.

Seems unlikely that we’ll get any news on ringside exclusives, as we’ve still got six months until the DX set hits.

I'd love another Hogan, but not in that same body they've been using, the WM1 Hogan looks horrendous. If they could do a proper body and do him with Hulk Rules shirt and a real good sculpt, I'm thinking something like Hogan #3 from Hasbro. My preference would be the 4 guys from the match and not the managers, but that's just me. Macho needs another mold too, not the one they used for the green trunks version, think that one looks really bad too. |

I just saw this too, I'm passing on this though, first time I'm saying that since the relaunch. Unless it's available dirt cheap on sale at some point. Really not the era I want, and there's enough choices now with the indy companies that I don't see the need to get anything Mattel puts out at this point. |

I just ordered a set of 4 and then and extra set of the Chyna/HHH. The Chyna i’ll turn into a custom. I’m not a huge fan of Dx but i have all the retros and want the line to keep going. Very interested to see they Chyna in hand. Cost me about $227 Aussie dollars for the 6 figs posted.

I am with so many of y'all on the DX sets. I have every single retro since the 2016 relaunch and wanted to completionist them all, but this DX set, while cool, shouldn't be retros. Hopefully the price does come down, but if not, oh well.

Pop a Syxx head on that Road Dogg and you could work it into a decent stand-in for X-Pac. And if you have the skills, the parts are pretty much perfect, just needs a paint job.
The "chop" hands would also differentiate X-Pac from Syxx.

As a moc collector, I am out on the DX set  I was really looking forward to these too and like the figures, but the New Age Outlaws set looks freaking terrible on card! It is like how I passed on series 2 because the image of Bret Hart looked so bad. If I was a loose collector I would get them, but for me the packaging is a huge part of the appeal and those images look so weird. |
