What is....in your opinion....the worst CS botch of the entire series? For me it has to be the Rock N Roll Express figures....we all know what happened there & the fact that they were never corrected still aggravates me to this day

I never forgave Jakks for making Strike Force with the molded T-shirt and jacket making them ABSOLUTELY UNPLAYABLE IN A MATCH!!!!!!!!

Paul Bearer being as tall as the Undertaker has to be somewhere on this list!

The same old chair blue or silver chair that was packed with probably half the figures of the entire line.

Classic Kane from the three pack with the open mask still bothers me still to this day. I had to Google that monstrosity. The fact that Bearer is so big they have him all folded up in the package just adds to the nonsense.

The ministry undertaker,.. i think from the first ever series was titan tron live like... what? Yeah, that was absurd. It was TTL5. And that one was actually better in some ways because it had the metallic blue paint on the boots and only cost $6 at the time. But hey, if you ever wanted your TTL5 Undertaker to have pupils, CS3 has it...

Its been discussed here recently in another thread but I wanna add also the Undertaker from series 1 ....How it came to have those white boot covers is anyone’s guess but that was absurd as well, why were those not painted?? A cost cutting omission perhaps

R&R has to be one of the worst offenders, but how could they burn up Johnny Rodz like that?

Jakks really upped their game with the Classics but still, some mistakes. Kamala with the painted Yoko leg braces was pretty horrid. Anytime a company messes up legends like the Undertaker and Andre, WWE should halt all business with them. I think the series 1 Undertaker may have been a mash up between his early grey days and mid 90s purple days, just they made the grey very light. Andre having a two strap singlet was just shameful and joke.
I do always wonder why Jakks made elbow pads on almost all of the first few series' of the original BCA figures. Only a few guys had arm pads (Bret, Owen IIRC) yet almost every BCA had elbow pads.

I do remember regarding series 1 Jeremy had cut corners just to get the line off he ground and put more money into making a solid Warrior and Bret and getting them signed to the line.
Undertaker was just the unreleased famous scenes, and Andre was just Big Show. He took a gamble hoping that one or two weak figures wouldn’t matter and the demand and hype would push the line getting a better budget going forward and it did.
Although then what’s his excuse for re releasing TTL5 Taker? That one baffled me, and it didn’t even have all the gear TTL5 had!

Every Undertaker figure. They managed to screw up the biggest legend every time they tried...
- CS 1 Taker was a TTL figure with white boot covers and purple gloves - CS 3 Taker was another TTL figure, which was just a reissue of TTL series 5 with pupils - CS Taker from the Bearer 2-Pack has his tie on but no coat/hat - CS 2-Pack with Mankind, CS 3 Faces Purple attire and the CS 3-Pack Ministry attire all have his Sara tattoo, all of which are based on attires that are too early for this tattoo - CS 3 Faces Grey attire used a modern face scan and a molded on coat - CS 28 ABA attire was just a basic black shirt and jeans, nothing that distinguishes it from an Undertaker figure besides his head scan - Also every Paul Bearer figure is taller than the Undertaker and Kane figures - CS 9 Paul Bearer has a variant with a bow tie - something he never wore
Probably the best ones they ever released were the ABA attire from the 3 Faces 3-pack and the ToyFare exclusive Grey attire. They should’ve done a better job considering Taker is known for having the best figures released.

There a lot...where do I begin lol
-A lot of managers were too tall! It’s be different if they made Slick since he was an unusually tall manager. But Bearer, Hart and even Heenan were way out of scale.
-Repo Man should NOT have had that jacket. It ruined the entire figure. I was stoked for that one. I wanted Repo Man so bad but you couldn’t even take the jacket off without having to swap arms too! Huge let down personally.
-CS25 Big Show and Bossman were complete garbage. I normally am in favor of cloth gear. But Show looked like he was in bags and Bossman’s vest was tacky. That’s one time a vest should have been plastic rubber!
-Minor nitpick but Luna’s legs always irked me. I don’t know what they were going for with the all black calves but whatever it was just looked bad

The kid in me will never, ever forgive them for the Kane in the 3 pack. I was so looking forward to that, and it honestly looked to be the definitive Kane figure from that era. Why I’ll never know, why they thought that was a good idea, again, I’ll never know. Had they got that right, with Undertaker not having that stupid Sara tattoo & Paul Bearer being the right blooming size, that could have been the best 3 pack they’d done.

I’ve never seen the set before. I just looked it up and LOL’d 😂. How did they get the mask right on the back but not on the figure?!? Heck they could have even used an old TTL Kane head. That would be better than using a totally different Kane era head!

One of the most annoying ones: Perfect body shape for a 92 era Tatanka with the red hair, and the blue kneepads. Then they inflated him and gave him black kneepads

One of the most annoying ones: Perfect body shape for a 92 era Tatanka with the red hair, and the blue kneepads. Then they inflated him and gave him black kneepads Agreed 100%. When Tatanka came back in 2006 much heavier, that bigger torso made sense for his updated figure. However, it didn't look good at all on his first release. This was a common trend from Jakks (especially once they started mailing it in towards the end of their contract) where they would show an excellent prototype image, but the final version would be altered drastically and look nowhere near as good. The tall managers always irked me. Figures like Bobby Heenan and Paul Bear were pretty damn good, but looked horrible on display towering over the actual wrestlers they managed. Speaking of Paul Bearer, Series 9 of Classic Superstars was loaded with issues all throughout. They gave Bearer that hideous cloth shirt which was just ugly as all hell. There was also the issue of the mismatched Road Warriors. Kamala was a figure that was heavily anticipated, but the final release was a mess. He had wristbands and leg wraps that he never wore. The worst thing was the slutty little miniskirt they gave him. I also remember The Godfather being in that series and for such a colorful character they put out the absolute laziest version of him possible. Akeem was the highlight from that wave along with Bam Bam, but even with him the inaccurate black wrist tape made no sense. As a pretty serious collector of the line, that was the series that kind of cooled me off. After the initial growing pains of the first couple series, I felt like Jakks hit its stride from CS3 through CS8 where most of the figures were homeruns
