If I can be petty for a moment...HUGE botch was making those LJNs 😂 The entire style was terrible Once Mattel started making the legends line, fans should have been able to return any and all Jakks classics even with no original receipt or box to a toy store with Jakks eating the cost. The classics were dollar store versions compared to Mattel. I never owned any CS figures. I'd have to go with scale. Jakks had no concept of scale Worst for me was the LJN style ring (a repainted LJN ring with a new copyright date) for the first few years of the Jakks line. So many toy companies made rings incorrectly, usually having a small bottom apron area but Jakks ring was definitely a monster which is how they marketed it. But trying to play with it using 6 inch figures was horrible.

The classics were dollar store versions compared to Mattel. I agree 😂 Jakks did so many questionable things. To me, the Classics should have been on point. I have the BIGGEST CS like botch that almost was...go find the pic of the unreleased CS Linda McMahon. Even though I wanted and still want a Linda McMahon action figures, this was a monstrosity. The face was perfect. It looked exactly like Linda without looking “old” as she felt. It was probably Jakks’ most spot on scan....then the body. It’s basically the RA Kelly Kelly body painted black, the RA Katie Lea pants mold, a cloth jacket thrown on top and it didn’t even close. It was sad, basically it was like Jakks had just given up. I’m still a huge pusher for a Linda McMahon. Out of anyone ever on roster or in WWE history, I want Linda and I think we’ll get her one day. However Jakks really did her wrong. Y’all someone please find a pic because it’s literally hands down the biggest CS botch ever. Probably the biggest Jakks botch ever.

I think probably because of the turnbuckle style and being able to fit many wrestlers in the ring at once for a battle royal...but yeah, the size was completely off.

The Yokozuna figure was horrible with the huge body with a tiny head. The Rikishi figure was way too fat.

I also thought the Stan Lane figure never looked quite right....I don’t know if it was the face sculpt or the missing 5 o’clock shadow but it never really looked like him to me....Bobby Eaton however was pretty much spot on
I always thought the Stan Lane head looked more like Lex Luger than Lane. Hell, I thought the Lane head looked more like Luger than the classic series Luger did! Ha ha ha

Never noticed that before but now that you mention it it really does.

That classic Undertaker, Kane and Paul Bearer set has to be up there. Taker has the Sara tattoo, Kane’s mask and Paul being a giant. I remember being so disappointed with that set as I got the ECW legends set first and seen the back of the box thinking that set is amazing! Then I found out otherwise.

I remember the Kane/Taker/Bearer set vividly. I know some (like I) who bought an extra MOC set to meticulously open, swap Kane's head with the Raw: Uncovered figure, remove the Sara tattoo on Taker and add Tazz legs to Bearer. Such a shame that so much had to be done to make this a good release. There was no excuses for Jakks to release it the way they did.
