This is a new series on Viceland. The Macho Man episode premieres tonight. I am currently watching "The killing of Bruiser Brody" right now. It is fantastic. Looks like episode 2 will be about the Montreal Screw Job.

wot! this is fantastic, I can't wait to watch these episodes
By the way, you guys probably know it already, but I highly recommend another docu series called "The Wrestlers" by a fellow named Damien. He travelled around the world and documented how wrestling adds to the cultural fabric of places like mexico, japan, africa, haiti, canada etc. It's amazing stuff.

There's the full Brody ep. Can't wait for the Screwjob ep. Man, that was a really well done piece on one of wrestling's darkest days. But man anytime there's anything talking about Brody's murder, it gets me angry. It's angry that Gonzales isn't in the ground right now for what he did, that he continued to be in the business after doing that. Angry that Carlos Colon is in the WWE Hall of Fame, and looked at with respect, as there is little doubt he helped that scum bag get away with cold blooded murder. And whenever you see Tony Atlas talk about the whole situation, you can tell, him and Brody were good friends.

Robbed us of one of the greatest minds the business had at the time.

Not that he would have needed a manager, but it could have been something, to have Bobby Heenan bring in Brody as his latest gun for hire to take out Hulk-a-Mania. While obviously not using the violence he used in other territories, they could have built him up as a big threat, because unlike other challengers, he was someone that would use what it took to deal the damage. It could have been kind of a full circle thing too if he joined the WWF, since it was Vince's father that gave him the name Bruiser Brody, if I remember right.

I haven't watched this doc, so they may have touched on it, but I heard several times that Brody was soon to be gearing up to head to WWF to work with Hogan and make big money. As in, that's what he was hoping to do. Then retire.

And speaking of Brody in McMahon land, it's great to see him now part of the Hall of Fame, but it bugs me he just got tossed in, as part of the Legacy inductions, the man should have had an actual induction. And it bugs me even more, to know the man who helped Brody's killer go free, and continued to work with him, did get an actual induction.

Look at Carlos Colon's body language when they ask him about the murder. He's hiding something. I hope he & Gonzales eventually get what's coming to them.

Carlos Colon is a piece of crap.
The narrator for the Savage and Liz documentary, was that the Honky Tonk Man?? I know Foley did Brody's because it shows him on camera, but the Savage one sounds like Honky Tonk Man talking.

At the end of the Savage video it says it was narrated by Dutch Mantel (aka Uncle Zebekiah, aka Zeb Colter)
