Dang congrats man! Collecting the entire set is a task, completing it minty is on another level. I had a good portion of the back when I was a teen but some of mine had seen some matches (surprisingly I had a very mint pair of refs both blue and white shirts).
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen Honky Tonk Man, Ted DiBiase or One Man Gang loose without any marks or dents!

Impressive! I’ve recently picked up a couple for my small collection of them. Tough to find some in really good condition let alone mint not to mention $$.
Congrats!

Feel like you may need to upgrade display cabinet and put those behind glass with the value/ condition they are in.

That is so cool! You must have some cool stories about getting these! Which is your favorite LJN?

That is so cool! You must have some cool stories about getting these! Which is your favorite LJN? It was pretty daunting (and, at times, stressful, lol) but also pretty fun. I grew up as a Hasbro kid so these were just slightly before my time but I fell in love with them again a few years ago. I love so many of them -- the black card Andre, One Man Gang, Volkoff, Macho, Warrior, Heenan, Red/White shirt Hogan, Bam Bam ... they look so awesome mint! Impressive! I’ve recently picked up a couple for my small collection of them. Tough to find some in really good condition let alone mint not to mention $$. Congrats! It took a lot of patience and money to do it, definitely. I can recommend hunting on eBay like a vulture ... over the course of the past 2-3 years or so I was able, at times, to find beat-up packaged figures (like Volkoff, Kamala, Orton, Sheik, etc.) pretty much for the same prices they go loose in auction form (not Buy It Nows). Every so often a few will sneak through at good prices. And that way I could guarantee that there would be no paint loss. Hard to stay patient, but it worked with a lot of them. Feel like you may need to upgrade display cabinet and put those behind glass with the value/ condition they are in. I might, but honestly I really like the display I have right now. That's just the bottom shelves of two big five shelf displays. Have got Hot Toys above those, WWE Mattel legends above those, and some Muppet figs at the top. I'm not a fan of the Detolfs because they're too skinny -- I like the current width of my shelving ... if there were detolfs at this size I'd do that -- though I do think at some point I'd like glass shelving for the Hot Toys to help with dust. Also there's literally JUST enough room to fit every single LJN on those two shelves, lol.

marklud well yeah your display looks awesome! Which LJN was the toughest to track down? Not sure how you’ve been able to decide which Mattel legends to get and not. I’ve tried to be selective but still got a cabinet full Btw: Star Wars shelf looks great. Those hot toys?

Wow that's impressive, did you complete the collection at Wrestlecon? Nope, I was able to find the white shirt ref on eBay just before heading to NYC. Perfect timing that it arrived just as I got home. In fact, I'm glad I didn't need to buy any figures at WrestleCon -- prices were insane for the most part at the few figure booths I saw. One guy wanted I think $800 or $1000 for an autographed HHH Defining Moments figure. His whole booth was insanely overpriced.

marklud well yeah your display looks awesome! Which LJN was the toughest to track down? Not sure how you’ve been able to decide which Mattel legends to get and not. I’ve tried to be selective but still got a cabinet full Btw: Star Wars shelf looks great. Those hot toys? Thanks man. It honestly took me years to find mint versions of the White Shirt Ref and White trunks Tito. Tito is darn near impossible, there just aren't many available. Those two were easily the most difficult to find. The black card Andre and the other short hair Andre were also really hard. A mint Bret was hard too. With the Mattel Legends, I keep it pretty simple -- if it's an elite Legend (I consider legends being up to Mania 20), I buy it. Deciding what to display is more difficult, lol ... right now I just display WWF 1985-92. I've got a New Generation grouping on another smaller case. I'd like to set up another case of cool double attires from those years (there are so many cool figs from that time just from Macho and Warrior alone) but right now I don't have the space, so they're in storage. And yeah I love those Star Wars Hot Toys. One of the best collecting decisions I made a little over a year ago. They're the best made figures I've ever seen in my life, and I say that as someone who collects wrestling above all else. Nothing looks as good as those Hot Toys, the quality is impeccable.
